Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

When an exchange have high trading volume then it literally means as good exchange because people will not trade on bad exchanges much.

If you are going to launch your new crypto exchange then it is not easy to make people trade on your exchange even if you are better than those big exchange,so just advertise it as much as you can and bring traders and more coins on your exchange.

Insurance is the only thing currently that I want and expect from an exchange. It could be hacked anytime but if it has an insurance, there is a possibility we could get back our investments. KYC is not such a problem if the exchange does have an insurance.
Is there insurance that provides these services?
If there is, then this is an amazing thing. But in fact in the field we all will not find it and even a good reputation exchange does not provide these services. what is available is that the security system is strengthened, now KYC is one of the good features, there is also 2FA that makes security better, there are many security procedures that have been improved and of course that is only available on quality exchange services too.

What I like best in crypto exchanges is low fee fees and fast transactions. Because each exchange has a different fee, and to make it easier not to allow KYC.

See dude,  first of all you need to understand that you are seeking for other members opinion. And to be very much honest,  it will really differ a lot from person to person,  user to user.
Okay let me tell you how people like me can define what a good exchange should be.
So there are mainly two things,  first No KYC and secondly faster deposits and withdrawals.
These two things can really work for me.
And yes most importantly the site should not have a bad reputation 😊

For me transparency is everything. Crypto exchange must safe and secure as well. The CEO of exchange must be trusted too  and prove that he is transparent. And most important the exchange should not much complain about their withdrawals too.

A good exchange for me is that there are development every week or every month so the users will be more engaged in the platform. An example of this exchange is the exchange in my signature, it is called Cat.ex a transaction mining exchange and there are lots of things present in this exchange. You guys should check this out.

I don't think low fees and fast transactions are factors to determine a good exchange because I see a lot of exchanges have the same advantages but people still underestimate these exchanges when its advantages cannot compensate for the problems and risks it can bring. In my opinion, I think the factor to determine good exchange is probably the volume of transactions, quality of service and security, low cost is not so important, important is still safe and we can trade on a vibrant platform full of opportunities

For an Exchange what you must do is have everything under legal documentation, if you want to make a difference you must make an Exchange that has all the tools for a tradeer, such as building a position with: Stop Loss and Take Profit at the same time, for not be stuck to the graphic all day, with these simple tools many traders will begin to join quickly. Also another factor to take into account is that you must have an acceptable arbitration, there is an Exchange that is very permissible in arbitration, and it is difficult to establish a range for trading. I think if you meet this, you will be very successful.

If you are going to have an exchange you better have attentive customer support who acts on a technical issues and trouble shootings of their accounts. There are only few spare times left for most traders and you better not waste a single second as they will be displeased in any late reactions for their concerns, all customers do. I have recently send a ticket to one of my used exchange and so far they are attentive and did the job clean.

My standards for a good exchange shift a lot based on what im doing. If im shopping for unknown coins i dont really mind a "shabby" exchange (as long as it is not an outright scam). If i am dealing with larger quantities however, it becomes all about security.
I havent really found any real good exchanges. Polo had a really good UI. Others have speed. etc. Havent really found any that provide it all.

Volume trading, how much coin in there. But for now maybe i will split 2 good exchanger, when i trade coins, or tokens id on different exchanges. About support response, i usually read in this forum because some of them is lack of support.

It actually depends on your perspective. If you want an exchange that lists shitcoins so that you can sell all of those shitcoins you have, then that is your definition of good exchange. But if you want an exchange that is listing coins that are with quality then that's your definition of it.

There are many factors which determine the best suited exchange like it must be legitimate and must have huge volume transactions with large customer base. The funds must be safe and secure and transactions should beade fast with low fees.Other things are only good coins should be listed on the exchange not the lower potential ones. The developer team should work progressively and increase trade on exchange.

Not too much in my opinion, exchange will be good if it's easy to use and has good security and friendly user service and can also help 24 hours a day.

a good exchange for me is an exchange that have a good, fast, and well-behaved customer supports.
It's really important for me if i have some trouble like withdrawal delays, deposit errors, or anything.

a good exchange for me also need to have a decent 'fee' upon withdrawals or tradings. 0.1% on each trade is actually a standard for me.
An user-friendly interface with a good user experience is  A MUST though, especially if i need it for a daily usages.

In my own opinion, an exchange is good if they have their own coin - because that only means that they are really eager to promote their coin and increase it's circulating supply in the means of their own exchange. One example of an exchange that has their own coin is the Cat.ex transaction mining exchange, and there are lots of advantages when you have their token.

According to me, a good exchange is a exchange that have friendly interface, low transaction fee, good trading volume, good services etc. If I get all of this then I like to trade on that exchange.

So what i hate the most about probably many exchange sites, is the cheer amount of information that they have in your face as so as you open the page, people get really overwhelmed by charts and numbers and unnecessary list of coins, for an experienced person this is already something that they are used to but for someone who is new this is overwhelming and makes it look very complicated, so make it minimalist and let the user decide which coin he want to see its chart and price.
