For all those saying the premine is an issue.  It is, and I agree with you, but the original payout schedule of the coin was so slow that even had it not switched to PoS, it would have been an incredibly large percentage of the coin for *years* anyway.

So, its not like much has changed in that regard, maybe its just the new people coming here to research before investing.

Something still smells fishy!

Why is it you look at every single coin thread, and at some point in there you find the scam talk usually after a rise in price. Then there's the moon b.s. Then there's the despair when it drops. It's always the same story and it's getting really old. I'm beginning to think there are way too many young kids playing here with money they probably shouldnt.
Guys, if you think your getting scammed then get out. You don't have to get everyone else to agree with you because really most here like myself don't give 2 shits how much the devs have, I'm just here to make money.

EVERY SINGLE coin with a premine and/or IPO requires a certain amount of trust in the developers.  Period.  This is why I usually don't invest in premines.  With CAI, I decided to trust and invest.  The change to proof of stake has not substantially changed anything about this coin with regards to the premine.  I asked Stuhlman in IRC if the premine would be allowed to mint coins, and he said no.  I still think something needs to be done with the premine to substantially reduce or remove it as a threat, but then I have always felt that way.

If you don't want to invest because of the premine, fine, but its not a "scam" until they sell the premine on the market and screw us all.  If that happens then you guys can laugh until your blue in the face.

I understand some of the critices, and i think that the point is that today news requires to generate a new level of confidence, because
the premine demands this new confidence level, and because the proposed benefit of the change comes from your potential as a business

Ripple has a 98% of premined coins, and some people thinks its a scam, but a lot remains confident, and use and trade ripple. But Ripple have a public business, well known representants that appears in mass media, etc...

So, at this level, to make this change from cai to caix. And from only coin, to also shares, do you need, to present yourself more comprehensive.
Who are part of this business? What is the relation with tinyelementals? And to generate some proof....like an statement from tinyelementals.com confirming this relationship. etc...

Could be interesting if you talk about it, and comes with your decition after it

(for the community i think that could be good also to be a bit patient...if the dev team is a collective process, stuhlman not can answer
all in some minutes...)

cheers

I thought it did. it went from 2% to ~28% premine with PoS

I don't want to laugh at anyone. I think the last few pages of posts were to let miners know what's happening.
I wasn't aware that the tiny elementals game was already out on itunes, but the Dev said it's just getting accepted by apple. someone made me aware, and that was enough to raise the red flag.

The premine will STILL be 2%. 2% of the new coin total. That's only 40k of the 2 million. Could even be less. Stop worrying and buy up the cheap coins!

If they intent to keep 28% of coins, I'm advising you all get the fuck out till you can.

The intentions are clear. They probably didn't want anyone to know about them keeping all the coins. It had to be spelled out by the community. The fact that they would even think about keeping the coins, let alone have no response but yelling trolls is absolutely nuts. Get the fuck out of this coin now and don't support anymore of these shit coins trying to ruin the crypto industry.

That is incorrect. Where are you getting this? The developers premined 2% of the total 28,000,000 coins (over half a million) and are keeping them for themselves. As said by the developer once this was exposed.

its totally understandable that the devs dont have the time to field all the questions in this post. but like any modern company, esp one whose business is primarily done online, there exists a social media team. It's someones job to be the spokesperson.

the more i keep thinking about it, the more i feel that if you're going to present yourselves as a business, rather than just a coin, you need to act like a business and we should treat you as such. If we're now investors, treat us like one.

No one is scamming anyone, keep dumping so i can buy cheap CAI. If you dont want to invest in CAI then dont.
No one is forcing you to stay, but the people that want to stay dont want to read all your negative posts the whole time.

Questions = Negative posts? I think you got something wrong there. Negative post's what TheStuhlman responded.

You'll learn these things one day... I hope.

Im not talking about questions, im talking about all the people saying scam. So far everyone has made money, no one has been scammed.
If you have lost money, it is because youre an idiot and dont know how to trade.
And if you are worried about being scammed, maybe you should not invest and get out now.

CAI official p2pool

Please point your miners (ScryptN) here :

http://thepool.pw:2888

and use your CAI address as username

for example:

vertminer --scrypt-vert -o thepool.pw:2888 -u YourCAIPayoutAddress  -p x

you will receive payments directly to your wallet!

Why use P2Pool:

  • You will get better rewards: P2Pools award transaction fees from black rewards to the miners
  • Your mined coins will be deposited directly into your wallet, they are never held by any pool "operator" and cannot be lost due to incompetence or fraudulent behaviour.
  • P2Pool is DDoS resistant, it is impossible to DDoS the entire peer-to-peer P2Pool network, at best all someone can do is knock a node offline, in which case your client will just switch to one of your failover nodes
  • You do not have to register on any pool sites, etc. all you need is a CAI address which you will use as your username, and your rewards will be paid directly into your wallet.
  • Even if the node you are using goes down, you will not lose a single microCAI of payment, as the network itself stores your pending rewards, and will distribute them to you as normal.

Stop spreading FUD.

They are probably going to premine another 2% of the CAIx coins. If you can't see how this coin is a scam (instamined on day 1 was the first flag) then keep learning about crypto so you don't support these things again.

We were considering making the yearly PoS interest at 5% but that has now changed to 1% and the total premine will be limited to 2% of CAIx
The premine in CAI will be destroyed like we initially said. the new max coin by the end of transition period should be about 1.6 Million coins.
