Now I understand why he didn't fight again. Apparently the greatest of all time can't knock out an ordinary person, imagine what it would be like if he fought? This explains a lot and confirms the kind of person he is, what a shame.

I dont know the story around that situation on Ibiza, but whenever someone sees a professional fighter, I really dont think that this person will try to say something bad, disrespectful or try to piss off a fighter. That would be just stupidest thing to do, because a pro fighter, even former or a drunk junkie like Conor, can whoops regular persons ass easily I think that that dude wanted to take a picture with Conor, or say something, but Conor replied to that with aggression. Some fans can be really annoying and persisting, easily breaking personal space, but replying on that with aggression is not the best way to act.

Meh...  To much too soon for the guy.  And he prolly got what he wanted from the sport so as long as he's happy doing whatever he's doing, I guess best to leave him be.  Lmao.

Anyway here's a vid of Fizie when he was still having the momentum moving up. He looked pretty solid against Moicano back then with Moicano being the taller guy.  Let's see if he can do the same against Bahamondes.

Movsar Evloev next opponent is going to be Aaron Pico, and it was promised, if he wins, he will be having a title fight against Volkanovski. Movsar is on 9 win streak now and has 19-0 record. But, is does not make sense, as Pico was signed for UFC only in April 2025, he is unranked, comes from Bellator where he wasnt even a champ (but has 11/13 finishes in his career, some say we can get a "next mini-Gaethje"). Btw, I think Dana is trolling Bellator and PFL, as as soon as he signs a champion from there, that guy got declassed in UFC

There are those who argue that judgment should not be made without knowing the context of the incident, but this McGregor may be right or wrong, but it is always a matter of time before he gets involved in a scandal, especially if he is having fun at a nightclub. He has not returned to the UFC since his leg was broken, it has been a long time, after all this time, it seems like he may not be. He has become a businessman, a brand, he is pursuing other things and he seems to enjoy it now. Now he may come back and suffer a couple of defeats and drag his whole career down, he may be running away because he does not want that.

And there are a lot of people out there who have never been in a fight and when you mix it with an alcohol-powered courage, anything is possible.
Just like it's also possible that the guy provoked McGregor on purpose, to earn a nice settlement money etc.
But yeah, most likely it's just Conor being a dick + alcohol + coke.

As far as I can tell, Evloev, however unexciting he might be, is the only guy deserving a title shot at the moment. So why would he risk it? And what happens if Pico wins? Will he get a shot at the belt?

I think it was Connor's ego, along with the drinking and the place they were in. As you said, when someone sees a fighter, whether he's an ex-fighter or not, they're not going to try to insult him. So, I think it was Connor being himself.

Cant imagine who would in clear mind go and try to provoke someone who is professional fighter? As always, he does everything he can to stay in the media. Connor really shows more and more what not to do to become a good fighter. Newcomers just need to look at what he did after his career ended and do everything in reverse, and success will be guaranteed.

I think that no sane person likes what he did after finishing his career. I'm not a huge fan of his trash talk, very often he was very disrespectful and offensive. He said it all was said to sell the fight but it doesn't worth to sell the fight by humiliating your competitor's family members.

There is a very high chance that Connor was wrong here. He is an overconfident guy who does whatever he wants and doesn't get punished for that because he has a fame and lots of money.

No, some fans really do that. I've seen a few videos of fans provoking Merab Dvalishvili. In one video, fan disrespected him and then Merab quickly reached him and then this guy was like, sorry, sorry, I didn't want to. Some people are insecure enough that they try to disrespect strong people with the hope that the security will protect them. A few years ago, someone annoyed Mike Tyson on the plane and then he got punched in the face for that. Some people are just insane but in this case, I think that Conor would be provoker of the fight.

When it comes to Volka and fighting in the UFC, he always finds a way to be in the octagon fighting someone, even if he is the reserve. So, it may take a while, but he finds a way to fight, he signs contracts for fights that will happen in a few months. He finds a way to participate.

UFC is on a different level compared to Bellator, PFL and other companies. One of the biggest reason why Bellator fighters fail in UFC is that they aren't used to the same competition that is in UFC. When you compete in a league (or call whatever it is) where the competition is low, you set yourself to fight against guys that aren't very strong, so you, as a fighter, don't try your maximum potential because what you already do is enough to give you a success. Why would you run 10 miles when 9 miles is enough for you at the moment? Humans are like that. UFC is much tough and the competition is big. If someone fails in UFC, they either don't try hard or they aren't skilled and physically gifted enough to compete in higher league.
A football is a good example. Some people play in Real Madrid and some play in Real Valladolid. There are levels and not everyone can perform at elite level.

Of course that's expected.  The B leagues' champs skill level are kinda not on par with the UFC but that's just because they aren't exposed to the same level of competition.  Too bad the UFC got them slightly out of their prime.  They're good fighters imho.  And if they started their careers in the UFC pretty sure some of them would be at the top of the heap as far as rankings go.

As for Volk, yeah...  Even without the eye injury, I think his body needs to recuperate.  He's just old.  Lol.

I think PFL purchased Bellator but they are not low level promotion compared to all other MMA promotions.
PFL and Bellator both have some great fighters but not as much as UFC, and they cant create so much events like UFC.
World Tournament in PLF is amazing knockout style competition with rewards much higher than in UFC.

Khalil was simply superior. I hope that now the UFC looks at Hill and throws him out of the rankings. This guy can't do anything in the fights anymore and his marketing is based on controversy. He'll be fired soon if he keeps this up.

Surprised to see Blaydes win via just a split decision.  He was a huge favorite going into this match. As for Fiziev, he was a slight underdog so Fiziev's win is def a better one than Blaydes imho.
