On my way in today I met a group of very friendly Bangladesh fans on the train, and they were very hyped for today's game (and slightly drunk at 8.00am!) 

I was told today's game will be an easy win, but i'm not so sure. Pakistan are still playing with the (very small) hope of making the semi finals and will be looking to put up a big score.

For today's bets i'll once again go with my main man Al Hasan, he hasn't let me down yet...

This was my thinking too.

By the way, the bigger stake I have with is Bangladesh to win LOL.

I think to score big - Pakistan will perform a disaster batting and will score not more than 250 runs or may be 280 runs. This Bangladesh team is very much capable to chase this total and win it.

Bangladesh done good job in last few overs but now we have two good hitters if they stay until end then its could be bad for Bangladesh because 300+ is very hard to chase but we are going to watch very interesting match in next few hours.

Bangladesh done good job in last few overs but now we have two good hitters if they stay until end then its could be bad for Bangladesh because 300+ is very hard to chase but we are going to watch very interesting match in next few hours.

Bangladesh bowling unit is failing them in every matches. They do not restrict the opponent in the early overs. The bowlers do get wickets but later of the inning when the opponent already had the foundation for big score.

Their batting unit does the opposite but it's not always easy to chase big runs. Pakistan has 4 overs left and they are going to score 320+ runs for sure.

It's not a big deal to chase 315 when team is organized. Although we have failed against India, I guess we will not make the same mistake again. Shakib is there, I hope other will contribute today as well.

So it is official now. New Zealand has qualified for the semi-finals. Pakistan (after scoring 315 in 50 overs) needed to restrict Bangladesh to less than 8 runs, to qualify for the semis. After 8.0 overs, Bangladesh has scored 38/1. And after knowing the outcome of the two matches tomorrow, we'll know who will be the opponents for NZ during the semis.

Tamim has gone as usual. I don't think it will be a problem to chase this score because right now we have the most performed player of Bangladesh in this world cup. I like how both of Shakib and Mushfiq always maintain he strike rate even if they are in pressure.

Sarfaraz claimed that they will target 500 which is hilarious. This will be one of the most exciting matches in the tournament even if both teams are out.

What else can Sarfraz say ?  Winning by 316 runs in one day international is not possible and neither it has been done ever before.

The required run rate has crossed the 9.0 runs per over mark and Shakib is still fighting it out. Right now his total score in this world cup stands at 606 runs, which I believe is an all time record. Considering the fact that he has taken 11 wickets with his bowling as well, in all probability the man of the series award belongs to him. But the sad part is that Bangladesh will end the world cup with a loss.

The Pakistan has won the last match against Bangladesh and have leveled with NewZealand with 11 points. To be honest, the Pakistani team were a far better team as compare to NZ but unfortunately  they were eliminated on the basis of run rate.

Last 2 days were boring in World Cricket, in terms of World Cup, got bored. and 2 dead rubber game today  IND vs SL and AUS vs SA

But the real competition is between IND vs AUS, where 2 teams are fighting for no 1 spot. Chances are both sides going to win their respective games today, that means, no change in point table. Would be great if we can witness some upset

I agree. Pakistan does seem far stronger when compared to New Zealand currently. Shaheen Afridi is something else. If he would have performed like this from the start and if he could have supported Amir, they could have easily qualified.

Tough luck Pakistan, but well played overall. Currently, Bangladesh is way too heavily dependent on Shakib and they need many more players like him if they wish to improve in the future.

It's almost certain, India will finish 2nd in table, because South Africa not playing good cricket, their batting and bowling both decimated in this world cup by opponent.

I don't think their morale much high to win last match of world cup, they just want to finish world cup and move on. South Africa quota system hurt so much their cricket.
