Smith and Carey seem to be settling down now after all the early action, hopefully they can build a decent partnership to get some runs on the board. If Australia can keep it tight from now on I'd still expect them to get ~220, but that will be tough to defend with Englands strong battling lineup. Starc and Cummins will need to be on top bowling form to keep the run rate down.

They are almost there. After 47.1 overs the run is 217 and they lost 8 wickets. I think they will end up around at 240 ish. They needed Smith.

The way England easily win against India and Australia, even a child can see that these two matches were fixed and my theory is 100% perfect.
Anyways now we will have NZ vs Eng and this match will be a cracker.  (Thanks god the final will not be a fixed drama)

We are not excusing (also not manipulating) and i have told many times in my posts above how India try to take England ahead with them and lose the way themselves.

I would love to see if Royse make another pool on Ashes and all the upcoming major cricket tournaments. Even the pool without prize money will be ok.

I would rank both the teams at par because both has played some outstanding cricket and beating India with full support from the crowd to India itself was a bigger challenge for NZ which they still managed to win it. So against England they will be well prepared and stand 50% chance to win.

This is the advantage with New Zealand. They are the underdogs and everyone takes them lightly. The same thing happened during the first semi-final, and as a result they were able to upset India. Here also, everyone expects England to win the finals and nobody thinks that NZ has a realistic chance. It looks to me that we'll be having another upset on Sunday.
