I can think of why he still want to fight is to see if he can still fight toe toe with younger generation and enjoys it and probably

The reason why people said Keith Thurman is dangerous is because of the power of his punch and he's a kind of boxers that usually go for hardest opponent which also seems to be undefeated and he end up as winner. I believe this is was also the reason why he went for Pacman but if he don't defeat PAC within round5 he might end loosing the fight.

It is going to be fun, but as per my understanding Keith Thurman will be stepping in to the ring with a huge advantage. I agree that his last win by KO was almost 6 years ago.. but I searched in YouTube for footage from his more recent fights, and I was quite a bit impressed. The fight against Josesito López was quite one-sided, although he wasn't able to get a KO. ON top of that, Thurman is a decade younger than Manny and according to reliable sources he seems to be on good form.

Still one of the diehard fans of the one and only the living legend Manny "Pacman" Paquiao. Man, this guy is insane for accepting challenge from this big mouth Thurman. But I think this is a 50/50 fight. But still rooting in Manny Paquiao despite of his age, he beat younger and hunger fighter. I'm shocked tho that the legend is the underdog in this fight. I think this is just to hype the fight. Manny still fast as always but now his lunch output is now lower compare to his prime. But I like he fight now. He is punching wise and not just throwing it and his defense is good. Thurman is just a big guy with a big mouth. This is an exciting fight.

It will take another months before the fight will begin, we don't have any idea yet if where to bet, I also believe that Pacman can still win this fight as he have the fighting mentality that can bring him confidence to fight, it's an exiting fight to watch for sure.
