Looks like Paris Hilton is in crypto again. On her Twitter she posted an avatar of “laser eyes” and is commenting on MicroStrategy’s CEO tweets. This actually brings back Deja Vu because this seems very familiar and basically nobody remembers this but she actually was pumping some ICOs back in 2017.

I don’t think she was the top indicator but I think a month or two later the bubble popped. Right now as far as I know she is not shilling any alts or NFTs but that can quickly chain. Wondering why a fashion model would choose to get into finance. She can earn more money playing in some movie or selling some perfume. Why crypto?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

On a more side note, what sites you guys follow that show live trade action?
I remember years ago there was this web page were we selected what pair we wanted to follow, then it opened a new window with live prices of it.
There was also this "buy/sell walls", where we saw the amount of coins at what price, does that still exists?

Maybe it's CryptoWatch: https://cryptowat.ch/

It matches your description, you can select the coin you want to follow, and will show the prices of a lot of exchanges, live
You can use on browser or install on desktop

Superb! Feel free to share something alike for mobile, i could use something that resemble this you just shared.

So VIABTC  numbers are

BTC $0.3508 /T @ 59370 a coin
BCH $0.3558 /T @ 581 a coin
ETH $0.1133 /M @ 2112.4 USD a coin
LTC $5.6733 /G @ 214.37 USD a coin. and this does not include the DOGE you get!

So 2 l3+ doing 1 gh will earn 1 ltc in about 39 days also 2000 doge

with proper clocks they do only 1500 watts or 1404/1500 kwatts for those 39 days.

1 ltc is 215
2000 doge is  120 so 335 earned and 150 burned if you have 10 cent power.
110 net at 15 cent power.  1029 year pay out
185 net at 10 cent power.  1731 year pay out
260 net at   5 cent power.  2433 year pay out

for 2x l3+. quite amazing.

Not bad for old hardware.  Might have to see if I can find a few of them cheap.  Can't find anything else right now.

You could argue they are worth 350 for one easy if you have 5 cent power 2 at 700 will earn 1216 in 6 months.

The way 2021 is unfolding we could have the longest up year for mining.

Best steak of up quarters was

2016 4th
2017 1st
2017 2nd
2017 3rd
2017 4th

 we are now
2020 2nd
2020 3rd
2020 4th
2021 1st

I can see this going for
2021 2nd
2021 3rd
2021 4th
2022 1st

It will tank.

But the chip shortage is real and not going away.

If we do the above as good as it is today it will be at least 2x better by march 31 2022 maybe 3x better.

Yes, the shortage of hardware (due to several multiplicative reasons) is keeping mining profitable. I can see it staying this way for the rest of the year.... but getting hardware is tough at any price right now.

I enter newegg shuffles and buy when they come in. So far they have sold me

Asus tuf 3070
Asus strix amd 6700 xt
Msi Ultimate 6800 xt
Evga  Rtx 3060 3657-kr
Msi  Suprim Rtx 3070
Evga Rtx 3070  3755-kr
Evga Rtx 3090 3987-kr

I entered every one but 1 from Jan 23 to now 6 of 30+  were a hit.

The cards came to about 2100 + 700 + 880 + 430 + 1200 + 900 +895 + 830

or say 7935 usd all this year.

they hash about 400mh  eth and 40 mh octopus

thus it is 44 usd + 2 = 46 usd  for about 900 watts

compare to an s19pro 13k if lucky burns 3300 watts and makes about 40 usd before power

So in 200 days with luck I earn 9200 and spend 4320kwatts  at 20 cents = 864

9200- 864 = 8336 which is about 400 ahead and all that gear by Nov 26  2021

I've been off the grid for a few weeks so I haven't' entered any shuffles for a while.  I'm back now and I'm excited to pick up my 100% "not selected" track record right where I left off!  LOL

I'm at 5/17, which has to be super lucky. However, I was mostly looking to get a GPU for other people that I passed them on to.  3 GPUs went to make other people very happy, 1 GPU went in my wife's desktop, and the last one I didn't get because it was something I thought I had not selected (didn't want it but I must have clicked it by accident).

I'm fully expecting to get a "not selected" email in a few hours to also keep my streak of never winning alive!

I have the 3080 Vision, it's a sexy card.  I have a backorder for one with BH from 2-2 that should ship this month.  The first I got at last years msrp of $799.99 at Microcenter cost $866 with tax.  The one from BH is $869.99 no tax which is the first bump in MSRP.   Now the MSRP is $1099.99.  Crazy

It does throttle some but even so it's been running my day to day computer and mining for 82 days and should hit roi in 41 more days if we can average $7 a day.

I had passed/missed an EVGA xc3 ultra 3070 in December from their que and I emailed them on wed asking if they could do something or put me back in que and they sent me a link to buy 2 hours later!  I added that card yesterday.  Was great as I had a 5% coupon for being elite so total with 2 day shipping and tax was $592.

I'm at 14 cards with 750-760 mhs on eth now.  Only the vision and the new evga haven't paid for themselves.

Would make a great day even better.  I put a sizeable bet on both Baylor and Gonzaga vs the rest of the field at start of NCAA tourney, so sitting pretty with them playing each other tonight for championship.  Have a nice score no matter what happens but if Baylor wins (and they are kicking Gonzaga butt right now) I am going to be extremely happy and have a few k to blow on some more stuff.
