So to sum up first week after my birthday on Jan 27th.

Doge whaled.
9 motherboard came in they are pretty good.
Seller could not sell me any more mobos until Feb 20-29
I scored on it and on the Doge runup
Newegg shuffle let me buy an evga 3090 /3987 for $2080 from newegg on newegg-shuffle paid by Doge runup
Newegg shuffle fucked me out of a  Gigabyte 3070 and matching psu
Newegg shuffle let me buy an Evga 3070/3755 and a capture box. for 882 paid for by Doge runup
Newegg shuffle struck me out.

That was a hell of a week Thurs to thurs.

I am down to 100k Doge in the trezor and 25 k Doge on the exchange I had 700,000 sold 575,000 at 1.9 to 8.2 cents but say 5 cent average or $28,750 usd Along with mid Jan sale of 300,000 for 5100.

so $33850 in sales of doge not bad.

Almost 1 btc

If I had sold them all at max of 8 cents it would have been 80k.

But that would only have happened if I had the million on the exchange set to sell at 8 cents and was paying zero attention to it.

I now have the  25k set to 8 and 9 cents.

Updates on eth earning prices

11.45 cents an mh at viabtc

payment is 182.22%

eth is 1719 but for a miner getting paid at 182% it is like eth is at 1.82 x 1739 = 3164 a coin

btc is 38324  25.64 cents an mh

payment per block is 111.11%

so for a miner 1.1111 x  38324 = 42581 a coin

ltc + doge merge mining

43 gh earns 1 ltc and 2000 doge  that is about 148 + 90 = 238

it is about 86 l3+ or 2.76 usd worth of coin a day for 1 l3+ which burns 18 kwatts or 1.8 usd at 10 cents
 so for 10 cent power

So gpu eth rig like my 3x 3080 does 275 mh at 700 watts


gpu rig 3x 3080  does about 31.48 and burns 1.70 usd it clears 29.78
an l3+  does about 2.76 usd in coin and burns. 1.80 usd it clears 90 cents
an s19pro does about 28.72 in coin and burns about 8.00 usd it clears about 20.72

You can over pay for 3x 3080 about  4800 for the rig about  161  a day payback

l3+ costs 300 about a 330 day payback

s19pro costs 11990  about a 600 day payback

That was a pretty good week.  I have still yet to win at the shuffle.

So now that Doge has been making a big run it has been on CNBC a lot.  Am I the only one who pronounces Doge like Dog E instead of how they pronounce it on CNBC which is Doge' a little more of a soft g almost French sounding.

I was able to put orders in for a few cards at retail this week.  An asus tuff 3070 and an evga xc3 ultra on Amazon both have shipping dates as of right now the last week of February.  Hopefully they ship sooner.

A gigabyte Aorus Master 3070 and a 3080 Vision from B&H Photo.  They shipped the 3070 and it gets here Monday.  The Vision says backordered but I am hoping that is just them catching up from the snow storm.

I will likely switch the 3070 coming in Monday with a 5700 on my 6 gpu rig.  This will leave me with 5 more cards to switch to 3000 series.  I sold a MSI 5700 and a MSI 5600xt for a bit over what i paid for 2 3060 ti's from best buy.

I have about 600 mhs on eth now and would like to add another rig in the house but I'm trying to be disciplined and stick to the plan I laid out a few weeks ago.

slow and steady is the way to go here.  I have a 3070 coming.  I will put it with the 3090.

eth is 11.44 cents a mh crazy high pay out .

but innosilicon is making ASICs

the a10 with 6gh is 500 mh at 950w  for sale as I type and hash rate is rising.

If we new how much they will put out we would know if we go from 368 to 400th or from 368 to 500th

other than no resale value they are better than gpus for mining eth.  So they may kill off the mining with too much hash.

I think the chip shortage will last and be very good for mining.

I grabbed an evga 3070.

So I have a two card rig with a 3090 and a 3070.
I have a three card rig with 3x 3080

these five cards are doing 440mh

viabtc is up to 11.75 cents a mh.

so these rigs are earning over 51.70 a day. and burning under 1200 watts.

that is 30kwatts a day at 20 cent power is $6.00
net 45.70
 so 100 days 4570
and 120 days 5484

I paid 5400 so

breakeven is 120 days.

at 11.75 cents a mh a 1000 dollar 3080 earns ten a day or a 100 day pay off .

i picked up a 3070, a 6800xt, and a 5700 from microcenter this week.   i got the 6800XT because i didn't have one and wanted to play with one.   the 5700 i got for $288 on clearance (returns).

I've been putting my Nvidia cards paired with a 5700.  I hook the monitor to the 5700 because when i hook the monitor to the 30x0 series card, it mines at 20% less.  My 5x00 cards don't suffer this problem.  these are also paired up with ryzen 2/3 processor for cpu mining.

I don't think Dogecoin will go back to the #30 or #40 spot on Coinmarketcap anytime soon, I don't think we will see 25 sat Dogecoin like we did for the past year. A few hours ago, Snoop Dogg even posted a tweet regarding Dogecoin,

Basically its not Snoop Dogg but "Snoop Doge", hence who knows what the stable price of Doge will be. I think we might trade in the 75-125 sat area for the next little while. So I hope Phil still has some coin and maybe he should hodl them.

So does anyone here know exactly what Doge coin exactly offers? Last time I learnt about Dogecoin was back in 2014 when I was mining it with my R9 280X because it was slightly more profitable than Litecoin at the time.

From what I recall it was basically a fork from Litecoin except it had a different supply, different rewards. It was basically launched as a meme and everybody is surprised it was a big hit.

Litecoin has active devs however and they got Segwit and are basically the little sister to Bitcoin, but where does that put Dogecoin exactly? Because at around 8 cents, Doge market cap is pretty much higher than Litecoins. However since its a clone of LTC and offers less then its market cap obviously shouldn't be higher.

Reason why its important is because when Snoop or Elon or that KISS musician put in $1,000,000 in Doge and end up losing 90% of it, they are still rich. However when they get retail people to put their entire savings into Doge and lose it all then its going to give crypto a bad reputation in the near future.

LTC and Doge are merged mined with a large amount of asics.

it is really good it move 50 or 100 usd or even 10 usd worth of coin.

btc is terrible to move as it is costly.

it is closer to real money than btc.

which means it is not the best coin to buy and hold.

Pretty much what I have seen as 3070's seem to go in stock a lot more last week than 3060's and 3080's.  I think if eth mining profitability holds up a lot of people will be looking to grab 3090's.  

Seeing more miners in some of the tracking/alert discords for gpu's I'm in.  

This deal goes live on 2-11 and seems to be a pretty good price for a pre-built with a 3070 for those looking for one.  Probably will sell out instantly lol.

Amazon shipped my 2 3070's way early and I got one in on Saturday and one out for delivery today.  My 3070 from b&h is in transit hopefully tomorrow.  I added the 3070 that came on Saturday to my 6 gpu rig and pulled out a 5700.  On that rig I have 3 3060 ti's, 1 3070, 1 5700 1 5700xt.

I can complete my goal of moving to all 3000 series cards on that rig leaving me with 1 3 card rig to go before I am done with the switch.

I think the heat is about the same and not less like I hoped.  But the 3060's and the 3070 are getting 60.75 mhs each with minimal tweaking.
