I put in for the strix and the samsung wrist watch.

I actually won the watch.

But when I checked around I found it for lower price than the 99 they wanted .

So some gear updates.

I got an omen pc from best buy and it has a working full power 3060ti.

it was 1699 but i have multiple coupons

170
 25
 40
 30
so 255 off.
1699- 255 = 1474 tax was 102

so 1576 and 78 off that nets to  1498

this is actually a good pc.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-omen-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-7-5800x-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-1tb-ssd-jet-black/6454567.p?skuId=6454567

tomorrow two alienware pcs arrive I am hoping the 3060ti in them are good.
thursday a hp pavillion arrives I am hoping the 3060ti in it is exactly the same as the one in the omen.

going to build 2 two card rigs with

an asus board
a stick of 8gm ram
a seasonic focus psu.

they should do 118-120mh and under 300 watts at the kwatt meter. maybe 285

Yeah really sounds like they're trying to hype up their shuffle to sell their excess inventory.  They're not getting enough cards to bundle with all their clearance items.

Great news on the HP Omen.  I'm sure all of the PC's coming in will not be the LHR cards otherwise I think you have pretty good grounds for returning the PC but I think you'd rather have the full functioning cards. over the hassle of having to return them.

you only have 3 minutes left to try to enter

for the good news my 2x alienware pc's arrived. they came with good 3060ti's and I am now rocking a 3x 3060ti build using 2 3060ti's from the alienware and 1 from the omen

all were oldschool full power  mining at 59-61mh and 120 watts

I get the last pc tomorrow it is a hp pavilion with a 3060ti

hoping to go 4 for 4 with a fourth good 3060ti card.

I will mothball the pc's until a future date.

I will have 5 to 6 pc's in storage.

If we rally back it was a good move.

Do you guys believe the ban on mining farms in china will make waves in decreasing the difficulty over all or do you guys believe they will mine somewhere else?

-snip-

small mining will remain undetectable, they will continue...if ever banning goes global, big farms are easy to find and crack.

solution: real estate integrated small farms-- houses, apartments, commercial buildings. just allocate some electrical space and a room, and fun goes on.

I don't think it will have to much of an impact as farms will move profitable mining machines elsewhere over time.

Nvidia is selling it's CMP gpu's to someone in large numbers.
