I received miner today, thank you pcfli!
I am confirming, there is a bug with difficulty.
I am trying different pools now, on Bitminter I managed to get 850 GH/s, now I set in miner difficulty 256 and I am trying to mine on Eligius. But Eligius is sending work with diff 512. Edit: Eligius is sending work with 512-1024.
Any thoughts guys? What's your best solution for this and best pool to mine?

Only btcguild works for me :/ or try any pool that let you set diff at 1024 |

Bitminter also let choose the diff for worker. Did you set 1024 in the miner and 1024 in BTC Guild, and it works fine?

Yup. leave the miner's setting default , 1024 for me Then set pools setting to 1024. It works perfectly |

I set my miner difficulty to 256 and Eligius is working fine. Stats are reporting that the difficulty is coming in as 511.99 (rounding err I assume). It took about 3 hours before I could see the stats back from Eligius so be patient. My guess is that the difficulty setting on the miner is not treated the same way by all pools. |

I set difficulty on miner to 256 and started to mine on Eligius. After 45 minutes I am getting right stats: 22.5 Minutes 1,050.64 Gh/s 330240 And graph had begun to populating at around 1TH/s. I will monitor it a bit more, but so far looks good. |

I have also used 256 difficulty setting on 3 of my dragon miners at eligius for just over a week which has been working fine note that stats at eligius are at times screwed up due to on going ddos attacks but doesn't affect actual earnings as the pool server isn't affected. drgn1

could you please ask the manufacturer to release the source code
if other developers can look at and improve the code then it would help everyone, even the manufacture could learn from this.
I think mineforeman developer of minepeon has mentioned he'd also have a go at making dragon miners work with minepeon.

Just had delivery of one miner (3 prdered).
Powered up and cahnged ip address so no conflict on network. and it is howing on the miner lcd panel
signed up to BTCguild and put in
pool - btc guild host details
pool login - btc guild username
password - 123
How do i save the settings? i
n the guide it states -once miner is reopened the led will blink green ?? Mine is red and pool details are not changing ?

I just filled in the pool details and clicked confirm button while start radio button was selected. I'm sure this will save details and start cgminer/mining the green LEDs on the blades inside the machine will blink when starting or booting but LEDs become solid green when running/mining ok. The red single LED adjacent the network port stays red but will start blinking when mining/communicating through the network |
