Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019?

Depends on the coin honestly. I still put some money into "altcoins" but the ones I put money into doesn't considered to be alt anymore and becoming standart in crypto world. I do have a lot of ethereum and nano and litecoin and I am looking into other coins that high as well, people have been liking neo and eos and cardano for a while so I may get them next but I do not sell other coins to buy new coins, I put new money into those coins so I need to get my paycheck to buy those coins.

It means in a technical sense of the word I do buy "alt" coins but how alt do you really think ethereum is. If you buy the coin with 853th biggest marketcap than you are risking your money but the 3rd or 5th coin in marketcap then you will be fine no matter what happens in the market.

Alt season will never come if BTC dominance doesn't drop under the 40% in the upcoming years. BTC is the biggest problem why altcoins hugged by low prices, so waiting for alt season is the immeasurable approach.

It seems just holding btc is better in the long term but i can't stop myself to invest some more alts.

I believe it's still worth it, Binancecoin is doing great, Tron is making a headline and there are so many Dapps in Eos, any of those coins mentioned and some of the coins in the top 10 can do what Ethereum has done to the community.

Ethereum is perhaps the best altcoin on the market, contract smarts are a good thing. I am a bit worried about the fact that the "owner" has a lot of decision-making power over the future of this coin. makes the coin less decentralized than the BTC. for me there is also the risk that in the future a better coin could be developed and that it could kill ETH

I think the risk is much higher in crypto especially in investing and buying altcoin and trading but due to the fact that there is no investor with investors who are not afraid to invest in projects because there is a project with potential and their project plan or roadmap is good.

Yes ofcourse there are so many potential altcoins that we can buy and hold at this moment,but we can't remove those shitcoins out there so we must know whatbwe are buying and investing to make sure we will double our investments.

This is very true. At least everyone who has been in crypto for sometime now knows eth is one of the best, if not the best altcoin. There is still huge potential for growth and it is worth investing now before it becomes late
