ICO or no ICO i only choose projects based on this two reasons,at first then any other things might follow, but firstly this two are very important 1. Transparency Either they failed or win they should let the investors know first, every steps must not be in secrecy, many new projects are so shady and i don't like getting involve
2. Dedicated If a team is been built with dedicated crypto craze people they will hardly have issue, firstly their aim will be for the MASSES not token value or pump and dump, they will be able to tackle problems they might come across since they love their jobs, this is different from those who are working on projects to gain money

actually this is not a matter of the number of teams working with the project, but the most important thing in a project is the background of the team and also the project road map. investors will not put money in the wrong place, so investors have their own ways before choosing a project.

To judge a team based on number isn't the right way, there are some that are few with huge advisors while there are some that are many with few advisors. Irrespective of which is which, the main thing that makes a team worthy of any project is the relevant experience they have acquired over the years. Also, in addition to experience is achievements, this matter a lot and shows if the team are really capable or not. Furthermore, whether ICO or IEO as the case may be, it follows the same way with the only difference being that in ICO the team can fake their experiences etc while in IEO it is hardly so.

The main key for doing due diligence for ICO team are the existence of the people it self. Does the project team are real?. In some case they using fake profile with using another photo and different name. They use LinkedIn as well and with great portfolio inside it. So you must be more careful with this scam mechanism.

Like one of the mate here said on another post, one thing he does about this linked in profile is to try to check on the team directly, and confirm form them if they are directly into the said project, I know that these scammers are wise to have perfected their plan, but if they use a reputable team, one should be able to also know if the email registered on linked in belongs to them or not . There are several ways to find out the identity of the team, provided they have the picture on it, and if I have any team that I cannot fully verify the identity through the photo, then I will never give it a thought to try the project out, and that is how many of us too should try and operate, we check that the team is verifiable before we get to take the project serious.

There is no particular look for a good project to invest in nowadays because the scammers already know what you look into and perfect it to look legit to convince you to invest in their project. But look into authenticity of the project team and their track records can be of help to decide whether or not to invest in it.

Or are just doing a research to be more successful in scamming people ?
Team should consist of people with experience in business and relative fields, have expertise in niches they are trying to change.

For me, it is not much important about the number of team members. What is important to me is the linkedin profiles of the team members. Particularly in the profile of team members, seeing that they have worked some good projects in the past makes me more confident in that project. Because at least I think that team are an experienced and successful team.

First of all, the team must have a strong leader, it is the core. A strong leader does not have to be able to sell, engage in marketing, or understand blockchain. He must be able to find people, real specialists who will do all this, and guide them. In my opinion, this is the key to success.

In 2014, when the Ethereum project appeared, his team did not look perfect, but the project now ranks second in the coinmarketcap rating. Therefore, it is difficult to say whether the project will be successful if we look at the project team, because we must always remember the famous expression “Do not be afraid to do what you do not know how. Remember, the Ark was built by an amateur - the professionals built the Titanic”, I don’t remember the author. Amators sometimes create a project much more interesting than the one created by professionals. I think it is necessary to evaluate the potential of the project comprehensively, objectively, but even in this case there is a risk that we made a mistake.

In my opinion, it is very important that the development team has experience in the crypto industry. Project idea, marketing, etc. are also important.

For me, when considering an ICO project, I will learn about the project's partners. Besides, information about listing transactions, information about project managers and founders is very important. In the end, it's the project community.

Investors like seeing the team members at events, not just one event, but many events. If the project conducts events on a regular basis (consider the example of Bitwings), it builds up trust in the minds of investors.
Another important point - they look out for the advisors. Notable advisors are a good sign for the project and investors.

1. They will be willing to listen to investors ideas either good or bad, hearing the voice of the people will easily make the teams satisfy investors by knowing what they want. 2. Transparency in everyway no shady activities, they will always try to come out clean on every way possible to avoid any doubts

If you look at the project team only from a good point of view (appearance) it's really wrong. Because the design (appearance) in a web can be done by anyone. The most important thing to see that the Team is really good is the experience of their work, With that a project will be more advanced because they have experience in their respective fields.

The reason behind this question is, that some teams have 3-4 members and others show off with 20.
For me, at least they meet the following criteria : 1. It is no problem for me to see 3-4 members as a team but their identities are clear enough with appropriate and capable educational background. It must be visible from their social media and recorded no cases of law. 2. They make future goals rationally and choose clear ways to achieve it according to the roadmap. 3. All the team members are responsive and friendly to the customers both investors or bounty hunters. 4. They make reports regularly to the public according to current progress.

In addition to the fact that the ICO team must be composed of professionals, I would like it to fulfill its own conditions specified when joining its ICO bounty campaigns, because recently such teams very often seek to deceive bounty hunters. If a KYC check is carried out, then the possibility of passing it should be already at the initial stage of the ICO, or at least what information will be requested. In general, the KYC check regarding bounty hunters should be decided completely. In my opinion, since we are not investors, the KYC audit should not apply to us.

To me, A perfect team is the members who are all experienced and outstanding with their roles, They have had successful projects in the past. A good example of a successful project that owns a quality team is the Brave web browser blockchain project with a token called BAT (Basic Attention Token). The founder of BAT is Brendan Erich, who created the very famous programming language, JavaScript and the popular web browser Mozilla Firefox. Besides Bredan Erich, there are also many outstanding and outstanding members

Hello Bitcointalk Community,
I would like to know from your point of view as an investor how a Team needs to look to get convinced.
Apart from the idear of the project I would be glad to get to know your opinion how a perfect Team looks like.
The reason behind this question is, that some teams have 3-4 members and others show off with 20.
I am looking forward to a good discussion.
Cheers
Your Stag3 Team
They don't even have twenty on their list, in fact one member of a team showing on the page can make all the difference, as long as that member has a reputation that is equal to Buterin and Dan Larimer. This is one of the first things I looked on the project, team composition, we see so many so-called professionals and experts on their team composition but they are unknown here on this forum or the Cryptosphere, it seems they just go into the community because of the project, so people are casting doubts on the team composition.
