Agree. Frankfurt deserves more for the trophy because they eliminated big teams in the Europa league previous rounds. While Rangers have weaker opponents in the journey to the final. But Rangers can give a good challenge to Frankfurt in the final round, they show that they are also deserved team to play in the final. I am a bit surprised that the winning must be determined by a penalty shootout, I guessed Frankfurt will win easily in normal time.

What a finale it was! Frankfurt and Rangers competed against each other and honestly Frankfurt played much better during the first ninety minutes. But Rangers still managed to carry the game to extra time. They were even the side to get ahead first in the game too. But in extra time, Rangers played really dominantly against their opponent. They found many goal chances but couldn't benefit from them. And the penalties ended earlier than I expected. Frankfurt managed to win 5-4 by penalties and became the champions. Aaron Ramsey missed the penalty for Rangers by the way.

Personally, in my opinion, the final turned out to be quite poor for beautiful football actions. On the other hand, this is the final and such matches are very often boring because of the tension and responsibility of the teams for the result. Still, the UEFA Cup and the title of the winner of the Europa League were at stake, as well as participation in the Champions League for the next season. It was also a chance for both clubs to win a second European Cup after decades after their conquest. I agree that Eintracht looked better in the first 90 minutes of the meeting and the Rangers goal was somewhat against the logic of the match and it's good that the German club managed to equalize the score quickly enough. We can say that both goals of the opponents were the result of gross mistakes of the players in defense. In the extra halves, respectively, the Rangers' attacks looked more dangerous. All German fans are also happy to have 5 clubs in the champions league because as I know the winner of the UEFA Europa League will be automatically passed to the group  Champions League phase. Previously, many predicted Frankfurt will be easy beating the Rangers in the Final. but, when we look at the match, Joe Aribo makes a surprise by creating a goal in minute 51. this makes Frankfurt quite overwhelmed to catch up with the score. Borre is a hero and saves the club, and maybe Ramsey is the one who feels guilty, the only player who didn't score in a penalty shootout.

all of this is inseparable from the fierce game of the two teams until it comes to the determination of the penalty shootout. in normal time I saw both teams playing equally well but Frankfurt as usual played an effective style of play, they played patiently and carried out dangerous attacks and it paid off well, they were able to create some dangerous chances which ended up being a goal in the 69th minute to equalize the score.
and for the result of the penalty shootout the Frankfurt players are very confident and have a strong mentality that their five executioners can hit the ball in the goal well, they really deserve to win the Europa League this season with what they have been through. I think it's a great final, it's not boring even though these two teams are not a top star-studded team but the final game of these two teams is very fierce and tense.

I think it is rather difficult to desgin a match to be decided in penalties. I think both teams would have rather decided the game in 90 or 120minutes instead. The teams were on an equal level, both had their chances to win, but of course in a final the pressure is high, especially for "smaller" teams like Frankfurt and Glasgow which are not likely to repeat such a success every year.
Congratulations to Frankfurt and respect to Glasgow! I was a bit happy to see the "big names" like Dortmund and Barcelona fail and smaler teams to progress instead.

I feel with this win, it will bolster their confidence to do better in the Bundesliga, and though sitting at the 11th position, they could give big clubs a run for their money. Kudos to them for winning the Europa. At least they were able to win in the Europa, a feat big clubs like Leipzig could not do.

Indeed, it's just funny how a club will let their opponent to beat them especially it's a final match where each club want to win. Congratulations to Frankfurt become a champion in Europa League after waiting for 51 years! Frankfurt had become a champion on back 1970. In the extra times, Rangers had shoots more than Frankfurt, I thought there's will be at least one goal they would scored. But nope, it's ended with penalties and too bad for Aaron Ramsey have missed it. I hope everyone not blame him after that, he's just unlucky.

eintracht deserved the trophy even though rangers also beat big clubs (dortmund, leipzig) - and what the fans have done for the club over the whole europa league season was and is great.
