Pep Guardiola think have over match because lead 1-0 until 90 minutes and have chance to final stage, He tried with make several substitution from Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Ryan Mahrez until Gabriel Jesus but still not effective how keep lead 1-0 before Rodrygo give hope for Real Madrid. I thought Kevin De Bruyne's substitution was ok because he did not play well in that match in my opinion. every time he got the ball he could not keep position or also did not release the ball soon. the other substitutions are also ok as he just tried to kill time but that came back to haunt him really bad because once Real Madrid was on advantage they were killing time really well.
Anyway, it was a great match to watch and it felt really good to see both managers shaking their hands after the match ended.

It is not very surprising because the match is almost over. It is normal if the coach pulls out their main player to keep the player in a good condition for the next match. Beside the comeback which was impressive the game itself was really average not much entertaining and i think its because both teams are not as strong as they used to be man city are not as dominant as they were in the first half of the season and for real madrid aside from some players that are well known the others are average and they does not deserve to play in such a big club i think the level of the champions league has gone down in the recent years.

I believe in delivering under the current situations more than giving importance to past events. so, I believe if Manchester City had played the actual football instead of just trying to waste time it would have been a better result for them but the players seemed a lot more interested in wasting time.
