First time ever since i started my mining business 4 moths ago i notice a block is not payed for mining P2P, WTF

http://hiro.qemulab.com:9408/static/share.html#00000000001ae6f2479fb18e0347f0232f3f707a3139d3fae7ec48b2ec41b950

Been mining at http://hiro.qemulab.com:9408/static/ and noticed there were more blocks reported then payments... Anybody knows how this is possible? Block seems to be not a orphan

Anybody? This block seems to contain coins but nothing is getting payed, faulty block?
Looks like an orphan. My block explorer does keep track of all orphaned blocks it sees on the network, but I haven't added the functionality for users to search for these "inactive" entries. The new version of my block explorer is already in the works, and will have this functionality.

For now, here is a readout of all of the affected addresses and the coins they did not receive as a result of another miner finding a longer chain.

To find this info, I searched for "inactive" (orphaned) blocks with the hash of 00000000001ae6f2479fb18e0347f0232f3f707a3139d3fae7ec48b2ec41b950 in the database. The transaction ID found within that block in my database matches the one on the p2pool website (381867c1b4eaf8d3617a6014c0072ab40da15f87a7f9b29c0a3eb82dba9123ec). Here is more info on this transaction.
Code:
mysql> select hash as txid, block as block_height, outputs as total_outputs, size, version, coinbase, inactive, rtime as `time` from tx where block = 29360 and inactive = 1;

Didn't you hear? our x11 rocket is much more fuel efficient - rather quieter too!

Is there supposed to be an announcement about Hirocoin today? I swear that I read something like that yesterday, but when I looked back through these posts, I didn't see anything. Maybe it was mentioned on twitter or somewhere else?

I hope people will start realizing that the only coins worth mining now will be N-factor and/or x11's.

And with summer coming up I personally would choose x11 before anything else with the 30-40 degrees less on the gpu's and no asics will be able to mine them.

It's fair.

Code:
    int64 nSubsidy = 400 * COIN;
    // Subsidy is cut in half every 840000 blocks
    nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 840000); // Hirocoin: 840,000 blocks in ~1.6 years

The block explorer does not explore 0-confirm (mempool) transactions as of yet. This is something planned for the next update. I can enable it now if it is somehow a priority, but I'd rather test it fully before release.

Also: please be aware that txid is subject to change. An exchange may create a transaction for you, report to you the txid they recieved when they submitted the transaction to the network, but that exact txid may never be confirmed on the network.

It is always better to search for your receiving address to see if there is an incoming transaction listed for the amount you specified. In addition, due to anonymity concerns as well as the weakness of ECDSA signatures, it is good practice to use a new receiving address every time. This has the added effect of combating tx-ambiguity.
