also got banned worker, after half hour

Maybe we should start to compare version numbers of sgminer.. I'm aware that the dev made some change to one of the later branches which introduces this problem.. Invalid shares after some time.. They were discussing in the sgminer thread over it, I just did not follow the conversation. Maybe someone will find it and could post a link here from the sgminer thread

my workers are having issues after ~30 minutes as well...

Can you add an other worker and try it again with the same settings ?

Does it say "banned!" or are you just getting rejects ?

it said me worker temporarily banned

Ok, I'm currently looking into this but cannot find a clue.. other seem to not get banned at all, just a few .. could be the version of sgminer

Try it with an other workername please.

My worker was banned, too...

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Yes, there is probably an issue with X11, I'm looking into this.

As a work-around:

Create two workers, worker.1 and worker.2 and configure sgminer to use worker.2 as a failover when worker.1 is banned. (that should work with giving multiple -o switches.

12718 blocks in 2 days? thats not 60 sec per block at all, there is premine, and the blocks are being generated per 6 seconds not 60, this coin is scam

12818 blocks, the time is there and do the maths, this coin's time per block is fake, 12 sec per block is the real time, im out, dont want to be in a scam coin anymore

why u think blockchain isn't posted?

your comments are wrong.

did you read the ann? KGW @ BLOCK 15,000.

There's no diff re-targeting based on block time until then.

No premine, check the time for block 1. First 15,000 blocks are not covered by KGW which equates for 0.8% of all Hirocoin distributed once KGW starts working. You need to get some coins out to people to get a coin started and 0.8% between launch and block 15,000 is modest.

Hirocoin - New unique feature just added. We will be the new home for GPU miners when those Scrypt ASICs hit.

Aaah, I think I've found it, it was a problem with the difficulty.. Invalids were counted 1024 times more than they should Smiley
So if you even sent 1 invalid, the pool thought you sent 1024... which than made it ban you

It is fixed now, so no false positives should be banned anymore, sorry guys !

You're either the most transparent troll ever, or seriously dense. Not sure those are mutually exclusive, but still.

Let's try this in small words.

- KGW will kick in at block 15,000
- By block 15,000 only 0.8% of all the HIC that will eventually be mined will have been generated
- Mining is open to everyone
- It is not yet block 15,000 and won't be for some time
- Conclusion: the 0.8% is being mined on the network

Unless miners being able to mine coins is somehow a pre-mine in your world, then congratulations, you have managed to uphold your staggeringly high ratio of stupidity / post.

No coins were mined before launch just to be absolutely clear.

Do not worry, the markets take care of these things. If the coin is too abundant then the price will be lower, if scarce the price is higher. Take a look at the effort that has gone into this release which is mentioned in the first post, the source and commit history is on GitHub for you to look at. I am going to keep maintaining and working on this coin, it is exciting times Smiley

again, im sorry, i  created pool, and i had some other duties, it wouldnt cross my mind that someone could use exploits on that way...
