since the beginning of this year. bitcoin dominance has tremendously affected the altcoin markets. when bitcoins raises, altcoin move very slowly but when it goes down. altcoins are heavily affected.  Are we going to see any major bull market for altcoin again. we are already in the third quarter of the year. i am concerned because i strongly believed in altcoins more than bitcoin.

Market up down is normal procedure. So I am not worry about altcoin also. Since bitcoin is showing much volatility in a result altcoin dumping hard. We can't expect recover altcoin market if bitcoin not stay almost stable. I am also holding few altcoin and waiting for recover. Hope soon altcoin market will recover. Until that we have to wait with patience.

This is highly debatable and all indices required to make an accurate call on this looks faded. Every attention seems to be on Bitcoin at the moment and there is no respite for altcoins. Altcoin season may likely happen very late in Quarter 4 of 2019

Absolutely sure we can have another seasons of AltCoins but not in the near future. Most likely it will occur at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2020.
as per now I guess halving issue is main factor for bitcoin right now

You can see that dominance is high so the price drop will be highly affected on the altcoins as well. But how can you say that the price drop on the altcoins is a sign of bull run?

Altcoin growth is definitely to be expected, but it is not known when this will happen. Since it all depends on the big wallets that manage the course as they want. I hope that already in the fall the altcoins rate is on the growth, but for now I buy them and buy them at a loss though.

Nothing goes just one way. Bitcoin price never goes just up or just down. It goes some times up and some times down.  Right now bitcoin dominance is growing. It could start decreasing tomorrow or next month or even next year. But for sure it will.

I think there is no such a  altcoin season.. everyday is altcoin season  .. if your favorite altcoin is down then you just have to hold it and wait for the right timing, as we all know that market is volatile, no one can control if no one is manipulating it

To be honest i feel at the moment btc is the only hot buy from here and even if i want to get in some alts i will only pick Eth only because i do not see real alt season coming anytime soon.

Yes, alts will rise again. The huge bear market really dented people's confidence in crypto. It will take some time to come back. Until that happens, BTC is the one soaking up all the incoming money. Alts will pick up later, I'm quite confident.

Will it come back? Most probably. Will it be the whole market like xmas 2017? I doubt it.  We will probably see some projects rising into the top 100 for sure, but If I were to invest now I would stay at the top of the list, those will be the first to follow the bitcoin rise.

It is undoubted that the Bitcoin price has a big influence on the prices of altcoins. Actually, when Bitcoin rises, the prices of altcoins are increasing as well. But for sure the price moves very slow because many people convert their assets to Bitcoin. So am altcoin season is not certain because that would mean several altcoins mooning
