Can we ever have altcoin season again.

since the beginning of this year. bitcoin dominance has tremendously affected the altcoin markets. when bitcoins raises, altcoin move very slowly but when it goes down. altcoins are heavily affected.  Are we going to see any major bull market for altcoin again. we are already in the third quarter of the year. i am concerned because i strongly believed in altcoins more than bitcoin.

and i hope you hold a kind of good altcoin such as ethereum, litecoin, and other
because only good altcoin project will survive and create new ATH

bitcoin does have a big influence on altcoin, but the effect of increasing bitcoin prices is not as big as when bitcoin prices fall, this is due to the nature of awareness or concern about the future situation, when bitcoin rises they doubt that this trend will last long because not many people add their assets while when bitcoin goes down they all panic and finally decide to sell their assets which are mostly altcoins and eventually make the altcoin price down
I am aware of this and that is why I am very worried about the future of my assets

I believe there will be a pump for altcoins in the future. Altcoin is not always worse, because altcoin is a potential market that can provide benefits. there are many good projects nowadays, although there are also many shit altcoins on the market. but despite all that, I think all traders agree the altcoin still has a chance to rise.

when bitcoin bullish, people tend to dump altcoin to buy bitcoin and that is exactly why altcoin price fall. However, since many of the altcoins are majorly from the output of the project, I do not expect more pump when the bear market comes. people will generally sell off altcoin to buy bitcoin especially considering the fact that a lot of people now know the potential of bitcoin even at this moment when the ETH is falling very much, you can see bitcoin price fall is not that dropping and besides the projects nowadays are making the price of ETH faint.

I think it will happen again, but it's a little difficult. Today, almost all red altcoins are on the market. This shows that it is difficult for the altcoin to increase. The movement of Bitcoin has little effect on the altcoin at this time, although I am very sure the altcoin will increase again.

I don't understand those sentiments why every time it goes down. A few days back, some of my coins prices fall significantly while BTC price was rising, then I asked my fellow investors for opinion. They said, due to the increased price of BTC, people exchange all altcoins to BTC and cashing them out, so the price is falling. Okay, now when BTC price falling, altcoins going down in 10x speed, why? This time also, those people answered, It is natural when BTC down, everything down.

I`m reading this topic and there are more pessimistic comments than the positive ones. I`m sure that altcoin season will come, the same like I`m sure that BTC price will rise. That will happen in the next few years, it`s a lot of time, we saw BTC rising a lot in days. Some altcoins will follow, not all of them. If people have a problem with faith in cryptocurrencies, they should take a look at prices from the beginning of this year and now, for some coins, compare them and you will see that the market is up. Some coins made a nice run!
That leads me to think that pessimist comments in this thread are from people who invested in the wrong ones.

Bitcoin is paired up with most of the cryptocurrencies so if the price of the bitcoins increased and so the price of the altcoins as well you can observe it the way the bitcoins price dumps as well as the litecoin, ethereum and other major altcoins as well.

Same pattern as Bitcoin but not all of the time of course.

Libra was not launch yet so it should not affect the current market.

What is more relevant is to focus an try to analyze what is happening to bitcoin now, and although it cannot deny that Libra have some influence with the price of Bitcoin, and bitcoin influence the altcoins, but it's still too early to speculate and the recent government of the US remark is I think not negative if we look at the big picture.

You can recover your big losses with alts through bitcoin once it has recovered again, there will be reports that there are altcoins that has much larger gains than bitcoin but it's the safe place in the market.

This is the hope that every altcoin holders have, when bitcoin moves higher to $15k the growth will get ignited. How real this gonna happen is unknown. From 2017 every year is predicted to be the year of altcoins. Further no year has given good growth, particularly 2018 was termed to be the year of ethereum, to the expectation it served to be the worst with the price falling low continuously. This year the growth of bitcoin over the past few months was good, followed is the growth of altcoins but the difference between the growth level is very large. Hope this gets moving with equal growth over the falling weeks.

Current market shows that only few coins shines in the narket so far, and not yet for altcoins, besides bitcoin and ethereum now takes a little bit of slipping price and altcoins remains as it stacks with a low prices. Maybe if they would be rising again for bitcoin and ethereum coin, soon enough altcoins also can be pulled up their prices.
