He really did it and that's not easy, you need a huge amount of money and a lot of staff to pull this off and not to mention the risk of having two or three winners, I don't know if anyone, any group, anywhere is still doing this but I don't see anything illegal it's risky but profitable.

Why this is not possible?? For me this is possible because when you buy lottery your winning will become almost all about your luck so if you are lucky yes you can win even 100 times. I have seen allot of people who won lottery so many times because of luck you only need to stay careful while choosing a trust worthy website to buy a ticket from.

Because we know that luck will not come like that, especially the luck will not always give you a chance to win more than 100 times. So rather than you spend so much money to buy the lottery, it is better to spend some amount of money only and doesn't think about to win the jackpot because that will be difficult. Besides that, to win in the lottery needs big luck, especially to hit the jackpot and only special person who can win the jackpot.

I would not do that, it's too expensive and I don't want to spent a lot of money in lottery due to less chance of winning.
Winning in a lottery needs luck and I believe even with one ticket, if you are really lucky, you can win them.

I do not think that is possible nowadays. The lottery laws are all different now and the number of possible results is way greater than before. He was just lucky because in his era it is easier to reach the desired pot in order to do his trick. I just admired how he got to convince people to finance his lottery tricks.

You are assuming that anyone in this thread bothered actually to watch that video. Most of them just read the headline and decided to weight in. But good that there's a least one other that agrees with me .

To attain such a wining streak in gambling is a feat that must be lauded if done without compromising that lottery system he had also tried his strategy elsewhere at its proved to have provided the same wining results then he should be applauded I don't agree with those who described the feat as a luck why did other gamblers who tried their own strategy and lose? or  did he capitalized on a loop hole or bug in the system that triggers his winning streak? I don't know if that man is the luckiest or is there something going fishy. He won 12 times and that is not an extraordinary player like normal players did, even just once in the lottery gambling is hard to win how much more if 12 times. The reply above of mine as right there's no genius mind in the lottery because this kind of gambling platform is not based on that the system has no formula to solve unless if you had bought a thousand pieces of tickets.

That's good, there's no harm in trying to find a way to win in the lottery. We realize this is impossible to do now. Because a genius in mathematics or an algorithm is certainly very difficult to learn about it. So, if there is another way to win the lottery. Maybe it can be shared here

They even ban computer printing tickets for him to have hindrance. He even go to other countries to test his equations and even got some investors to buy tickets for him to succeed on his winning combination. Unluckily, he got prisoned on the last country and never did the act again.

If you wanted to crack the code like him, you shoud:
1. Be a mathematical genius
2. Crack the new algorithms for the new system of lottery since its computerized now

I never have imagined that this was possible, because I have grown knowingly that lottery somehow is a hoax and only the ones that they want to win will win, in short it is an inside job to collect people's money mostly the poor. That guy is awesome and cleared my doubts about lottery, he just shows that winning in legal term is just the same as winning in illegal, all goes to one direction (jail).

Apart from winning via "inside job", it is possible the math genius exploited the system that churns out random numbers. I believe if he can do this, he can pretty much hack many passwords.  
I think the authorities should have patched the system rather than the arrest alone.

I've always believed that computer based lottery could be cracked by someone with the required knowledge/skills. But it will be pretty hard to do this on physical lottery or dice.

Nope, he did not cracked anything. He just calculated probability and waited for the right amount of pot to cover his expenses if he wins buying all the possible combinations. The only thing I admire on this guy is his tenacity to write down all the possible combinations and his convincing strategy to attract investors in his schemes.

How is this possible winning 12 times? I mean how come someone exploited the lottery system? And i don't think luck will be the main reason for all of his winning. There is just something odd on that when someone starts to win like almost in a row, i don't know if he beats it by knowledge or he may be just too lucky.

Has anyone in here actually watched that video? People in here are claiming he needs to be genius to figure that solution out. It's not as impressive as people are stating in here. He just crowdfunded for tickets and bought all the possibilities when the jackpot price was 3x over the sum he paid.

Damn, I'm too curious so i just watch it and i thought it was just recently happened that's why i can't believe such a person would win like that. It is doubtful because  a person winning twice or thrice could be understandable that luck is in the favours but 12 itself is a huge thing and millions of people do not even get once and someone getting 12 times is myster itself or not really believable to many people .

It is doubtful because  a person winning twice or thrice could be understandable that luck is in the favours but 12 itself is a huge thing and millions of people do not even get once and someone getting 12 times is myster itself or not really believable to many people .

winning twice and thrice with huge jackpots is already controversial but how much more if its twelve times  ? what happened to him is not a mystery but its a real thing and its not called luck anymore  .

he already figured out all the possible combination and completely beat out the system , this guy shouldve been banned now because if not , he will dried out every lottery station that he could come across  . besides he is already a millionare now , so its okay  .

The thing is that he didn't really crack anything, even though pretty much every article about him states that he did crack the lottery.
He just applied relatively simple odds calculations.

When the prize pool of certain jackpots were high enough, combined with the amount of possible winning number combinations being low enough, he just found investors who would buy up the majority of tickets.
Keep in mind that the total cost of buying these tickets was lower than the amount of money that could be won.

Not that hard really...
