In the 4th Test match of India vs England team, India team came to the field to bat in the 1st Innings and scored 307 runs after losing 10 wickets in 103.2 overs. India team was 46 runs behind the England team in the 1st Innings. Today, the England team came to the field to bat again in the 2nd Innings.  13 runs and no wicket has been lost so far. Let's see how many runs the England team can score in the 2nd Innings.

I don't expect England team to be exposed in such brutal way against same opponent where they scored almost 300+ in thier first innings, but I think I wasn't aware of indian mystery spinners like Kuldeep and R.Ashwin. anyway but now looking things completely in favour of indian team because they have plenty of wickets in hand with quality batters and just required 150 around target to chased it down in order to won the series by 3-1. One advice indian batter should follow that don't try to be over smart don't repeat previous innings mistakes and don't underestimate England spinners because they has ability to change entire situation like previous and can level the series.

One cannot expect a good performance from England players on a spin friendly pitch. However, since the team performed very well in the first innings, we thought that the team could score more than 200 runs in the second innings as well. But England lost all the wickets to collect 145 runs. The team could not even provide the target of 200 runs. Even if the pitch is bowling friendly, it is not possible to win against an experienced team like India by giving such a small target.

Batting on a target of 192 runs, India collected 40 runs without losing any wicket. India's two openers scored 40 runs in just 8 overs. India need only 152 runs to win.

In just 24 hours from being on the verge of collapse the Indian team changed the situation and is now slowly inching towards another victory. To an extent Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav made this happen. Jurel 90 runs to the scoreboard and Yadav's contribution through bat and taking 4 wickets change the match. England had a good opportunity to win the 4th test but poor batting is the reason they are in this situation.

Rohit Sharma  and YJaiswal are playing very carefuly and continue their innings without losing a wicket Rohit Sharma made 24 run in 27 ball and y Jaiswal made 16 run in 21 balls .

However in England's second innings their batting lineup was destroyed by India's two spin bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldev Yadav who took a total of 9 wickets. Out of which Ashwin took five wickets and Yadav four. With England batting badly in their second innings, the target for India is just 190 runs of which India have already collected 83 runs without losing any wickets and India need only 109 run to win.

IMO, it's more important for tail enders to keep their wicket safe especially when there is proper batter on other side, Akash Deep added 9 runs of 28 balls, it was ok contribution and wouldn't have minded even if it was 0, and he got out trying to defend too which was sensible compared how from England's side Bashir got out trying to go for big hit in first innings despite Joe Root hanging on other end.

And the England captain made the mistake by under-utilizing the pacers (James Anderson and Ollie Robinson).

Indian spinners were successful and destroyed England batting in second innings, Stokes might have went with spinners with same agenda.

I wanted to see Anderson complete his 700 wickets in this series, at first I thought it'll be an easy feat but now I doubt as in this match it seems unlikely to happen and there is question mark whether he will play next game.

IMO, it's more important for tail enders to keep their wicket safe especially when there is proper batter on other side, Akash Deep added 9 runs of 28 balls, it was ok contribution and wouldn't have minded even if it was 0, and he got out trying to defend too which was sensible compared how from England's side Bashir got out trying to go for big hit in first innings despite Joe Root hanging on other end.

I watched videos of many coaches who only advices their bowlers/tail enders to consume atleast 30-40 balls and scoring runs is not what they except from them and Indian tail enders doing the job for years while middle orders collapses.


India is cruising toward the win and scoring in more comfortable way than ENG expected. Jaiswal got out but he has already done the job and Rohit completed his 50 too.

Now India just way 95 runs away from winning the series.

India managed to collect 148 runs after losing 5 wickets. India lost the fifth wicket by 120 runs. DHruv Jurel and Gill are batting well. The team needs only 44 runs to win. If Jurel and Gill stay at the crease it will be very easy for India to collect 44 runs. However, if these two batsmen are out quickly, the Indian team will be under pressure. If England could have somehow set a target of 220+ in this match, they might have been able to win the match. It is very difficult to win against a team like India with a target of just 192 runs.

Only 36 runs needed to win the match and the series for India. I doubt the game is in a flux anymore and the way Jurel is batting it should be over soon. Earlier India needed 50 runs and they lost back to back wickets, now noth batters are easily getting singles and are able to rotate the strike. A few more hours and the match should be over and Idia should win this match comfortably.

Undoubtedly India will win this match but one thing that is good about today's match is that England bowlers lost five wickets out of India's 36 runs. India's first wicket fell for 84 runs and since then they have regularly lost wickets to the opposition and have lost five wickets for 120 runs.

India's batting early on looked like they might win the fourth Test against England by ten wickets but later things changed as they were now 161runs for 5 wickets. India need only 31 runs now with Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel at the crease. Maybe they both will be able to take India to the brink of victory and India will probably win this match by 5 wickets.

It's over! India won the test match by 5 wickets and also winning the series. Good comeback by India after day 2 when they lost 7 wickets for 117 runs. Dhruv Jurel again played his part today by forming an unbeaten partnership with Gill. Patidar again failed as he did in the first innings. Not sure whether he might get another opportunity in the last test match. There are others who are on the bench and in the last test the management should give them an opportunity to play.

Ollie Robinson was not given a single over in second innings because wicket was supporting spinners. It was India spin attack that bowled out England for just 145 runs. It was a great chance for England to level the series but they end up losing the match along with series.

Bashir was fantastic with the ball and showed great control with hardly any loose ball. This young inexperienced batting lineup won 3 matches on a trot, they did fumble here n there but they got us home.
MOM should be Jurel or Kuldeep, tough to choose one so give with both of em (unofficially).

It's over! India won the test match by 5 wickets and also winning the series. Good comeback by India after day 2 when they lost 7 wickets for 117 runs. Dhruv Jurel again played his part today by forming an unbeaten partnership with Gill. Patidar again failed as he did in the first innings. Not sure whether he might get another opportunity in the last test match. There are others who are on the bench and in the last test the management should give them an opportunity to play.

India sealed the series by 5 wickets but India were invited to celebrate for the fifth match. The way England performed in the first innings, it seemed very likely that this test would be a draw or England would win, but due to England's poor performance in the second innings, England had to accept this match as a draw. However, out of 20 wickets in England's two innings in this Test, the three spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Ashwin, Jadeja have 16 wickets. This test was mainly won due to the contribution of the spinners.

If they had batted as well in the second innings as England did in the first innings then this match could have been different but they failed to do that. There is one more match left in this series which will only be a formality for the England team because even if England win at the end they will not be able to save the series.

On the fourth day, the Indian team batted and won by 5 wickets. India's batsmen Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma gave the team a win with excellent batting. The current result of the Test match is 3-1. The great performance of the Indian players has given them the win and they have fought hard for the series against England. England won only the first test match and then lost all the three matches, the England team had a chance to win the fourth test match but they could not achieve the victory, their misfortune. Now as per current result India win and one more match left in fifth test match I think India team is more likely to win. England team's batting and bowling performance is not much improvement due to which they are not able to match India, but Indian team's batting and bowling performance is excellent so they perform well in every match and win.

And just now India has won by 5 wickets against England in their 4th Test match. In 1st innings, both team used to score good amount of runs. Joe Root (122) did his century, Ollie Robinson(56) did his half century and Ben Foakes(47) was close enough for 50s. Similarly, Yashasvi Jaiswal(73) did half century and Dhruv Jurel(90) was close enough for century.    But after 2nd innings, everything is changed. England all out within 145-10 runs only. Without a half century by Zak Crawley(60), no player played well. The only reason was Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin who got 4 & 5 wickets respectively. And here, they changed the game totally. Afterwards due to contribution of Shubman Gill(52), Rohit Sharma (55), india surpassed the Target easily & won the match
