Correct, a lot of test matches start tomorrow as you mentioned. If you ask me who is the favorite in all these matches, then i would say that Australia, Pakistan and Afghanistan will go as favorites in their respective matches. However, it is not like that we see one sided matches, because India and South Africa are capable enough to give tough time to the opponents. We are likely to see some great test actions throughout the next 5 days

I pity those players frankly speaking because the Christmas-New Year season is one of the best parts of the entire year and they could have spent it with their families and friends, but work is work at the end of the day.

Let's hope this time Bumrah will get some support from the other end. Akash Deep is a young talent and the Aussie batters are not very familiar with his bowling. Let's hope Akash Deep or Siraj could give some support. I don't want to forget that Australi will play on MCG where they will benefit as a host team. So, they might set the pitch according to their bowlers and not how India wants.

So far, the series is even. Whoever going to win the next match will jump forward to the series win. Either both teams have to win both matches, or one win and a draw will seal the series for them. Australia has the advantage as a host team.

In test cricket Dhoni retired in the same BGT Australia mid tour, similar to Ashwin and In white ball cricket he continued to play for the next 4-5 years.

Okay. I accept that. Probably this was not the best example, but aside from that, I believe you would agree with the rest. I don't remember when Dhoni retired from red-ball cricket, but if I am not wrong, he tried to continue for the team in white-ball cricket, but the selectors decided to give other players a chance instead of Dhoni.

I remember seeing some Facebook posts like Dhoni dropped Sehwag when he was captain. Later, BCCI dropped Dhoni because they wanted to prepare other young talents for the upcoming ICC events. It is okay if those young players are performing well.

In the context of Dhoni,  he retired on his term in test format (2014 away BGT). He was a horrible defensive captain with a bad record but he had the wisdom to pass on the baton to young Kohli.

In White ball cricket too, he played the 2019 ODI World Cup and he was around 37-38 so i would say he played more than enough because you can't expect 40-41 year old to play in the next ODI WC so the transition was natural. Similarly. All transitions are necessary, sometimes players get a kick from the team and the one with the wisdom takes a voluntary respectful retirement.

Fans can look for "irony" or "karma" because sometimes it could look like as controversial and dramatic turn of events but only due to media. In real, it's part of life and happens to everyone in every field.

That the reason I put Pakistan ahead from south African before start of the series despite having a very bad history of Pakistan in test format before English series and the only reason behind is thier previous performances and player confidence and moral.
For me it will not be surprising if Pakistan beat thier opponent with a lead of 2-1 or something around it while on the other hand no doubt Afghanistan will have upper hand on Zimbabwe because of thier player potential and experience while in Aussies series things are very unpredictable but looking to recent performance I think Australian will have dominance over thier opponent.

You are right, with the India vs Australia Test series tied 1-1, there is a lot of desire among cricket fans to enjoy the match between these two teams. I hope that in this match we will be able to enjoy the hard-fought battle between the two teams without any problems. I consider Australia the favorite to win the fourth match of this Test series. Because the players of the Australian team showed some improvement in their game in the last match. I am hopeful that the players of the Australian team will be able to continuously develop their game further in this fourth match.

Even then the Indian team were not playing on their home ground I still don't see them that much kind of bad performance in a series previously.
And I think their experienced batsmen are responsible for this poor performance because they batted very responsibly throughout the series. And if they continue this kind of performance, then there is no doubt that they will lose the next match as well and I hope that the match in just 2 hours will not be affected by rain. If I don't know about their weather.
And I agree with you that really good bowlers don't seem dangerous for Australia on this kind of pitch. I would pick the Australian team for this match.

Indian team has the potential to give more better results if there is no grouping as you mentioned. When Kohli was captain he retained Rohit despite poor performance and same was returned by Rohit once he took over the captaincy. On Pakistan side, Babar Azam did damage to team as captain by retaining his friends in the team like Hassan Ali. Australians are on top because there is no room for such nepotism while selecting the team. 

Australians never care about personal milestones and they play for their country. However, in India there is a "chalta hai" attitude, and people are quite used to corruption, nepotism and bureaucracy. So when a sub-standard player such as Mohammed Siraj gets retained in the squad just because he is very close to Kohli, hardly anyone questions it. But the same thing doesn't happen with Australia. If Pat Cummins performs poorly in a few matches, then he will be dropped and someone else will replace him.

Every team has some of these 'Chalta Hai' type players in the squad who remain in the team despite a series of poor performances. Just as it is included in the squads of India and Pakistan, several Bangladeshi players are included in the squad despite such poor performances. Bangladeshi batsmen Liton Das and Zakir Hossain have performed poorly in most matches in their careers, yet they have made it into the squad as if they will play in the squad for life. The management should remove these consistently poor performing players from the squad, give new players a chance, and find talented players.

Afghanistan team performed well in the ODI match and won the series, Zimbabwe team could not perform relatively well. Because in the ODI match they lost all their wickets in just a few overs, so I think the only thing that will be needed in the Test match is a patient batting performance.
 The possibility of Zimbabwe team failing to bat patiently is very high, so I will bet in favor of Afghanistan team in this Test match, because in this match they will perform very patiently.

For the first time ever in this series, an Australian batsmen treated Jasprit Bumrah like he is some club bowler. Sam Konstas was exceptional in his debut and he dominated the first session. The Australian selectors did the right thing by dropping non-performing Nathan McSweeney, and then replaced him with Konstas. It worked out very well for them. On the other hand, India is still persisting with non-performers such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. They were even thinking about dropping Nitish Kumar Reddy.
