That the reason I put Pakistan ahead from south African before start of the series despite having a very bad history of Pakistan in test format before English series and the only reason behind is thier previous performances and player confidence and moral.
For me it will not be surprising if Pakistan beat thier opponent with a lead of 2-1 or something around it while on the other hand no doubt Afghanistan will have upper hand on Zimbabwe because of thier player potential and experience while in Aussies series things are very unpredictable but looking to recent performance I think Australian will have dominance over thier opponent.

Pakistani team had terrible start of first test, four wickets have gone done in first 19 overs. With this start it will be difficult for Pakistan to make a comeback and save this match. No batsmen so far is able to make it to twenties. SA made a good decision of batting first after winning the toss. I haven't  see the match so can't say much about the pitch but all four wickets were picked by pacers so far. Pakistan need some batsmen to stay on the pitch and score some runs else if wickets keep falling like that then Pakistan first innings total may be restricted to 150.

In last few years, we have Pakistani selectors doing terrible job mostly they are bringing players from ODI and T20I for test matches as well which is bringing down their quality and performance today in first two sessions we have South Africa in complete control of the game currently we have 147 for 6 all top order batsmen gone cheaply we have some resistance from Kamran Ghulam now Salman Agha and Jamal Ashraf on crease.

South African bowlers doing good bowling specially we have debutant Corbin Bosch he is having good start of his career took Shan Masood then inform Saud Shakeel most chances we will be having 225 to 250 runs from Pakistani side which are not enough for them in first inning of their first test match at Centurion.

Ghulam in the team is a good one because he completed his half-century and scored high runs for the team. They have to score high in this inning because the opponent team is South Africa, and they will easily chase this target. The match between Pakistan and South Africa is more important for India than both of the teams because if Pakistan lose the game then South Africa will rise in the table of test World Test Championship and at the same time if Pakistan wins it, then India will get good advantage and they will rise in the table while the match also in progress between India and Australia.

T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa team was ended and South Africa team won series 2-0 and ODI series was concluded and Pakistan team fully washed out by winning 3 games. Now test series was started and 1 st game is playing and South Africa team won toss and they elected field first. Pakistan team effort in 1 st turn was not good and they grabbed only 211 runs and all wickets were gone. Kamran effort was good and he made 54 runs in 71 balls and hitted eight 4s and one 6s. Their opening was very poor and both opener played quite worst Shan and Ayub both made only few runs and lost wicket. Saim showed brilliant effort in ODI series but in Test series his effort was poor. Dane took 5 wickets and gave 43 runs. Corbin dismissed 4 wickets in 15 overs and gave  63 runs. 1 st day was completed of 1 st test game and South Africa looks strong and Pakistan need brilliant effort in bowling now to win this Game.

But no matter how poor their performance is, the selectors are not ready to drop them from the team.

Pakistan top order disappointing performance in first inning including Babar Azam and Saim ayub didn't played responsibly. Pakistan all team out at just 211 runs in first inning against South Africa. Kamran Ghulam only Pakistani batters play outstandingly and scored a well deserved half century and Muhammad Rizwan captain played 27 runs inning and assisted Pakistan to cross 200 runs. South Africa bowling performance is amazing especially Dane Paterson picked 5 important wickets by just giving 61 runs and Corbin Bosch also bowling well picking four crucial wickets and restricted Pakistan under 220 runs in first inning of test match. SA had a steady start and they have lost 2 wickets at the end of first day. If SA can take lead of 100+ in first innings then they have bright chance of winning the game.

Pakistan performed very well in the ODI matches due to which Pakistan won consecutive matches and at that time South Africa was in an embarrassing situation. They will try their best to get out of that position and win the Test series. Pakistan's score in the first innings of the first Test is not satisfactory at all. Although South Africa has already lost two wickets in the batting, there will be no possibility of Pakistan winning by a small score. There is no opportunity to say anything about the match yet as the second innings is left. If Pakistan can show a good performance in the second innings, then Pakistan can also win this match. The top order of the Australian team played really well but we found trouble in the middle order players those are known as power hitters, they did not put effort to make score but the top 4 players named Sam Konstas , Usman, Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith scored very high runs and each player scored more than 50 runs. Australia is likely to win this game according to me. This decision is good by the Australian team to win the toss and decided to bowl first it really helps them on the first day and I hope it proves to be good in next days too.

I was very surprised to see Pakistan batting in the ODI series against South Africa. Pakistan batsmen batted well in every match. It was after a long time that I got to see such consistent and responsible batting from Pakistani players. So as usual, my expectations were very high on Pakistani batsmen in the Test format. But Pakistan team batted very badly in the first Test match. Pakistan team could score only 211 runs in the first innings.

Centurion pitch is not bowling friendly. It is not very difficult to score 300+ on this pitch. Even then Pakistani batsmen could not bat well. Even South Africa team lost three wickets quickly. In the ODI series too, we saw that South Africa batsmen are not in good form. So I considered Pakistan team as favorite in this series. If Pakistan could score 300+ in the first innings, they would have been able to dominate this match.

In second test match of the day South Africa vs Pakistan we have good control of South Africa while they were on bowling their bowlers deliver best spells and bundled out Pakistan on 211 runs Corbin Bosch on debut have 4 wickets with Dane Paterson took another fifer but in reply we have South Africa on 82 for 3 which is surely interesting because Pakistan can fight back with their bowlers, but they needed good batting in second inning.

In third test which was maiden Boxing Day test for Afghanistan we have good punishment for their bowlers from weak Zimbabwean batting as end of the day we have 363 for 4 38 years old Sean Williams on crease with his 145 and Craig Ervine had 56 runs both have 143 runs partnership and most chances we can have 500+ runs from Zimbabwe as well.

Well it's true that south African main bowlers were not able to get the wickets while the new names (Dene Pietersen and Corbin Bosch) surprised Pakistani top batting lineup through his majestic deliveries but looking to current condition things are clear that it's completely bowling friendly track and that's why Pakistan consistent performer unable to put some decent number on board while on the other hand when it come for south African they lose their top order too in very early stage before adding a handsome score, so now I believe in such condition 200 around target will be enough to defend. if bavuma got departure to pavilion early on because in his recent matches especially at test format he has very good stats.
