India showed extra ordinary performance in the one off Test against Afghanistan. After scoring  a huge total of 564/8 declared in first innings, they disallowed Afg to give any chance to settle into the game. Indian top orders able to build a strong foundation, while their bowlers kept the pressure on Afghanistan for the whole game.. Manav Suthar fully deserved best player title.His discipline, skill & ability helped india to hunt seven wickets at crucial moments. He was a star player who played a vital role in India's victory. Afghanistan never looked comfortable against India's spin attack and they struggled in both innings. From beginning, Afg was in huge pressure due to the big amount of target, that's why their batters failed to clam themselves and found it difficult to build partnerships which ultimately led them a heavy defeat.Winning by an innings & 300 runs shows the real gap & difference what the two teams are. For India, it was a complete team effort, a perfect Test performance. For Afghanistan, this match should be a lesson that can help them do better in the future

Root, who is an English batter, achieved the number 1 position in the Test rankings with his essential techniques, but now his own partner from his own team replaced him in the points table, Harry Brook.

Both England an NZ have terrible first innings in terms of batting but English Batsmen did well to score 226 runs in second innings and that was also turning point of the match. NZ batsmen were not able to score runs in second innings also as a result England won the match by 115 runs. The pitch was not batting friendly but still credit goes to English batsmen for scoring runs in second innings. English bowlers maintained pressure in both innings and didn't allowed NZ batsmen to score runs. 

Actually I don't really understand that what is happening with the stronger teams like we saw the New Zealand and England team even in this test match they perform the one of the worst batting performance I have seen. On the other hand if we look at the Australian team there is also poor batting performance founded against the team like Pakistan and Bangladesh. Even then they played on their ground but I don't think Australian team batting performance is that much poor how they were performing.

It really becomes difficult to pick a single player out of the entire team, when they all play like that. If I had to pick one thing from a Test like this, it was Manav Suthar standing up with 7 wickets in both the innings. The 564 on the board was the end to the game before Afghanistan came out to bat. That kind of total goes to a team head and it was clear in the way that their batting collapsed both times.
There is a different format, ODI series. With Afghanistan spinners, it can be bit of a handful in the right conditions and are not the same team as they were five years ago. Rashid Khan can alone turn a match as per his day. Still, home is another matter in India. I think that India will come out on top in the series, but Afghanistan have the chance of making it interesting if conditions are good for them.

Root ain't captaincy material which is why Brook will probably end up becoming full time test captain for the team soon. As @JSRAW pointed out, he is simply Stokes 2.0 in more ways than one.

Bangladesh have announced their squad for the Test against Zimbabwe. Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz have been rested from the BAN squad and Robiul Haque and Tawhid Hridoy have been given a chance in the Test team for the first time. BAN have won the last 4 Tests while Zimbabwe have lost 4 of the last 5 matches. In the last 5 Tests between these two teams, Bangladesh have won 4 and Zimbabwe have won 1. So Bangladesh are the favourites in this Test.

Bhai daru nahi jhel pata hai. Moron is another name for Stokes. With this incident, it is evident how much of a drinking problem he has. I guess the culture in that country is pub-based. Drinks are served on the ground, too; you can buy a drink and watch the game, but do not drink so much that you feel everyone is an enemy. Losing Captaincy for a drinking problem should open his mind, and he needs to put himself in a rehab to recover.
