The way Sri Lankan team started losing wickets from the beginning, I thought they would not be able to go very far, but Dinesh Chandimal and Dhananjaya de Silva were able to create resistance there and because of them I would say that Sri Lankan team is currently close to 250 runs, now let's see how far Sri Lankan team can go with the remaining four wickets. My personal opinion here is that Sri Lankan team will finish their first innings within 320 runs in this match, I don't think they will be able to go much further than that. On the other hand, since this is not their home ground, they will not be able to take extra chances here.

After watching the first day's performance from both sides, I am not sure English bowlers will be able to restrict New Zealand under 400 because Kiwis are doing a good job and have a good chance of adding 90 to 100 more runs. This could be a big success for them because having 450 runs in the first inning is always a big achievement in England.
After this, England's batting is also not solid in the last two innings. This could also be a problem for them despite having a few changes. Devon Conway and Tom Latham have done an impressive job this will put them on course to win this match and series. They have good batting and bowling in the series, but in this match, the absence of Matt Henry can give them some problems.

I was very surprised  to see the scoreboard at the end of the day. When I checked the scoreboard during the match, I saw the score 128/5. Sri lanka had lost their top 5 batsmen for just  110 runs. I thought Sri lanka's innings would end in  200. But Dhananjaya de silva's innings of 120 runs helped Sri lanka to amass 308 runs. Silva - Danusha pair performed brilliantly at the most crucial moment of the match. If sri lankan bowlers can bowl  with some control, the match will  become competitive.
