You cannot ignore the fact that Bangladesh just toured Pakistan and defeated them in two Test matches. In fact, Bangladesh has a winning record now against Pakistan. They also won an ODI series against Australia.

The performance of the Pakistan team is unpredictable. I won't consider the victory of Bangladesh against Pakistan a very big achievement at this moment. They won the ODI series in Mirpur pitch against Australia, which isn't surprising as well.

In this match against Zimbabwe, they were missing players like Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan, Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana who could have made a difference. Without taking away anything from Zimbabwe's performance, they played wonderfully to win the match in a dominating fashion.

Bangladesh batting line-up was still good enough even in the absence of Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan. But their performance was very bad in both innings. The bowling section of Bangladesh wasn't good. Zimbabwe has really played well and won the match like they deserve it for their performance.

Two very weak teams of the Test format faced each other. It was difficult to predict the outcome of the match. As both the teams are almost equally strong in this format. But we have to admit that Zimbabwe performed brilliantly in their home match. They secured the win in an innings gap.

Bangladesh managed to collect 140 runs in the first innings. I don't think it was a bowling friendly pitch. Bangladeshi batsmen failed to play well. Newman Nyamhuri and Muzarbani took 6 wickets each in two innings. Along with the bowlers, Zimbabwean opener Innocent Kaia played a very important innings of 140 runs. Besides, Wessly Madhevere was defeated by collecting 77 runs.

3 odi and 3 T20 matches will be played in this tour. In these two formats, Bangladesh team is able to perform somewhat better. So they have chances to win in odi and T20 series.

Bangladesh was completely outclassed by Zimbabwe in this test with a margin of an inning and 85 runs in both innings. They had a total of 325 runs, with no batsman able to stay on the crease and do something because they have no potential. Winning against Pakistan does not mean they have a good team at home they did a good job, but their performance against Zimbabwe was totally crap.

Currently, Bangladesh is ranked 8th while Zimbabwe is 10th in the test ranking, but with this performance, things are looking not favourable for Bangladesh. They had a tour of Australia, where they will be going to have more humiliation after performances like this against Zimbabwe.

Even I would say that the Zimbabwe team bowlers did more good performance from their batters because in the test format the run they to that was not so high but the way they make all out of the Bangladesh team in the first inning and as well in the second innings that should be more praised .

This test victory proves that Zimbabwe is much better test side compared to Bangladesh. Bangladesh has won test series against Pakistan but still they need to work hard to improve their test cricket.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are not very strong teams. Both teams were weak in the Test format. Yet Zimbabwe has performed incredibly well. I am very surprised.

Bangladesh could not bat well. Of course, this is nothing new. We have seen this many times before. But what surprised me was the performance of Zimbabwe's batsmen. Zimbabwe was able to collect a huge score of 410 runs. Innocent kaia was able to score the maximum 140 runs. Besides, Bennett, Ervine and Madhevere also batted well. Actually I think Bangladesh took Zimbabwe lightly which is why they announced the Test squad without their top bowlers. If there were bowlers like Taskin, Nahid and Shoriful in the team then maybe Zimbabwe would not have scored more. Bangladesh's batting line-up disappointed me in this Test, Shadman Islam and Mahmudul Hasan Joy are not doing well in the opening so the opening batsmen should be changed. Mominul tried his best but it is not possible to take the team to a good position alone.

Actually the main problem is that Bangladesh team lacks batsmen who can bat consistently well which BCB is not able to solve. So Bangladesh batsmen should focus on their performance.

If he comes and play, West Indies will have another great batsman.
