Entire day without a single wicket and the ICC wonder why the test format is dying. For me, it seems like WICB doesn't have the capability to host test matches. You need to prepare competitive surfaces that provide enough support for both the batsmen and the bowlers. And even after all this, West Indies lost the series by a margin of 0-1. Availability of players is another reason. West Indies have very few players who are suitable for the test format, and most of the time they remain unavailable. That said, for Sri Lanka there were quite a few encouraging signals from this series.

It could very well be a tactical decision by the West Indies Cricket Board to prepare a dead wicket for the second Test just to guarantee a series victory. The pitch did not help the bowlers even on the 5th day, and there was no turn and bowlers could not do anything in those conditions.

There were good individual performances from West Indies players like Justin Greaves, Roston Chase and Amir Jangoo, who scored a maiden double-century. For Sri Lanka, Lahiru Udara and Kamindu Mendis also put up strong performances. West Indies won the Test and T20 series, while Sri Lanka won the ODI series where only one game was completed because a couple of matches were washed out due to rain.

West Indies have played a safe game there. They might have tried to chase the target by batting aggressively if they had lost the first test match. The chance was very high there to lose some wickets quickly if they played aggressively. West Indies knows their capabilities very well, that's why they didn't approach to score quickly.

And as well also help them to win this test series. But over all performance I will say that in this  series West Indies player did outstanding batting performance even their bowler could not do well at their performance. But I thought that the Sri Lanka team would may be win in this match because of there first innings.

And from that, we were pretty sure that this match would be a draw. After that, Sri Lanka gave a target of  302 runs, but West Indies did not have  enough time to win. West indies got a chance to bat only 40 overs in the last innings. The two openers of West indies batted very carefully. As a result, the team was able to score  109 runs without losing any wickets. And the match was drawn.

You are correct, this has been a very special time. In the first ever women Test at Lord, India chase of second highest target in women Test history is truly historic. Moment Kranti Gaud name were added to the Lord honours board, next to the greats, is one that will remain stuck in cricket history for always. First century by woman at Lord's on the same day by Yastika Bhatia completes the package of what India have done here. The news of Heather Knight's retirement mid-match adds a sad but sweet twist for England. It was unlucky that she had to leave Lord after such fine career with not-important finish, but that is how it is in Test cricket sometimes.

Here I would say that the Indian women's bowlers played the most role in winning this match, especially Kranti Gaud, who took five wickets in the first innings and gave away only 37 runs, and in the second innings, she took two wickets and gave away 54 runs, which was extraordinary. However, this was essentially the Indian women's team taking revenge for losing the T20 series to the England women's team.

Young player of India W cricket team made century in this match as their score was not excellent in the first inning of the match but in the second inning their score was brilliant as there were 2 half centuries and one century by a player and players of India W team tried to apply pressure on opponent team and Richa Ghosh made half century when it was important for the team to made good target. Draw was not possible in this match because 5th day was also remaining in this match and decision of the match was firm in this match.  Mandhana gave good start to her team at the top and she made 70 runs in this match and England W team thought that they will easily win this match because they are playing in their own country.

In the second innings, they declared their innings with a huge score of 371 runs. They batted well. And got a very easy win. England were not able to score even 200 in any innings. They lost by a huge margin of 270 runs.

If England Women had not been strong and careless in this match, then it would have been right for them because it was right for both but India Women played with a lot of effort in this match which is why they succeeded. England Women batsman was not playing with much interest in this match because if they had played more hard in this match, they could have controlled this match and succeeded and it was also enough interesting. They play very hard in everything and they can succeed in this entire series and we can also see England Women whitewash but I feel England Women will make a good comeback in the second match. So we have to see England Women strength and hard work and how they effort to play.

A draw was always most likely result when Windies closed gap to the point when Sri Lankan bowling and fielding was under pressure but they were not close enough to honestly catch up. Campbell at that speed with no wickets down showed that West Indies were in possession of batting yet it was case of them running out of time. It was Chandimal half century in second innings which did rest, Sri Lanka needed some quick runs at start to set chase, and Chandimal 71 made sure West Indies did not simply kill time. All really in between the two innings, when Sri Lanka huge 549 was answered by 499 by West Indies. Batting lineup was on both sides was very strong all through game.

John Campbell played very well in this match because he made 2 half centuries in this match and he was prominent player in this match who gave good start to his team in the both innings of the match. John Campbell made 72 runs in the first inning of the match and he played also very well in the second inning of the match and he made 51 runs And he was not out in this match which was good achievement by that player. Brandon King also played well in this match and their score was 109 in this match with fall of no wicket and they could win this match if they stopped opponent team to  make 400 plus runs in the first inning of the match and they lose this match because of this reason . Lahiru Udara made 188 runs in this match and he made a good score for his team and his team was ahead in this match but they could not win this match.

The 2nd test game between West Indies and Sri Lanka has come to an end without nominated any winner and draw with the end of day five and in  this series total two games can be played one is end without any results and second game decided the winner of this series. As we know with the end of day 4 Sri scores nighty two runs during second innings and they continue the game from here and day five remains very effective for Sri Lanka and among the batters Dinesh Chandimal showing his experience with a strong innings and West Indies has he target of three hundred plus runs. So West Indies put their best in given time and scored one hundred plus runs but the match was drawn without any winner so the upcoming game  decided the winner of this series.

Now they have shown some trying in their Test performing which was super for them. ENG W is also a historic team which has made a powerful for itself with its power and struggling. They have faced nice performing in 3 games in which ENG W could not play nice  even around them and their players did not play wisely and did not score runs which was not intelligence for them, so they did not get a say in this game because IND W players made such a character and they deserved it and they have also made a nice style on the field.

England point is fair though. However, their performance in second innings was poor for team which had just enjoyed undefeated performance in T20 World Cup. It was not easy going and you are at their ground as experienced Test player, you are not supposed to be having bad time.
Most amazing part of India Women performance is that it was shared effort of several players, with Yastika huge century, Kranti Gaud bowling, and excellent fielding work all around. It is that kind of teamwork that makes this performance different from ordinary one. It was special moment when game ended with Knight being player to retire, but India deserved this victory, whatever the situations.

But on the other hand, Indian Women had a lot of time to prepare for the test matches, since they got out early from the World Cup.
