Shan Masood is removed from captaincy and probably that has eased out pressure from him to focus on his batting. Shan Masood has scored his seventh test hundred and due to that superb knock Pakistan now just 67 runs short of West Indies first innings total of 311 runs with seven wickets in hand. Still 2 more days left in this test. If Pakistan can take a good lead in first innings and then bowl out West Indies quickly then Pakistan has a chance to win this test though its not easy to bat on last day of the test.
I think removing Shan Masood from the captaincy was the right decision. As Pakistan Test captain, had one of the worst records. Shan captained team in 16 Test matches over the last three years but only managed to win only 4, while Pakistan lost the remaining 12. That gives him a win percentage of just 25% win percentage that a very poor as a Test captain. Shan masood batting also affted due the captaincy. Now he is playing only as a batter, and seems much more relaxed and has shown his quality by scoring a brilliant Test century in this match. Hopefully, he can continue performing like this without the extra pressure
The West Indies team could not give a very good batting performance in their second innings, due to the good bowling performance of the Pakistan team, the West Indies team was under a lot of pressure due to which they could not create a very big lead. On the fourth day of the game, the West Indies team was quickly out as no batsman could bat well, losing nine wickets. The West Indies team was already on the verge of being all out, due to the bowling performance of the Pakistan team, they could not bat in this match. At the moment, the West Indies team has collected a lead of 210 runs, but if the West Indies team cannot give a good bowling performance in this match, then they will definitely lose the match of the series. However, the Pakistan team will try hard to stay ahead in this series and they will bat well to win this match. Although the target is not very high, if the opening batsmen of the Pakistan team can perform well, then it is possible to win.
I don't think a target of 211 runs is easy, especially on the last day of a Test match when the pitch usually becomes much more difficult to bat on. in the first innings, Pakistan got a good start but still couldn't erase the first innings trail by runs, that show how challenging the conditions are. Now, in second innings, Pakistan have already lost half of their team for just 57 runs, so the pressure is on the team. Babar Azam is playing a responsible innings, and Shan Masood is also at the crease. This partnership is the key to Pakistan's chances. If the West Indies manage to break it soon, I think they will have around a 90% chance of winning the match.
