Pakistan lost by 90 runs which I think no one was expecting. West Indies were able to make 311 with Shai Hope 92 runs and Kadeem Hodge 84 runs providing the most of the runs in first innings, while 5/27 showing from Justin Greaves at the Pakistan end of the stumps did the rest. In chase of 211, Pakistan simply could not handle it, Babar Azam made a brave 58 runs off the stumps, but had to lose 15 runs off 5 wickets, with only three batters reaching double figures. Jayden Seales finished the rest of the way with 5/20. So, Pakistan bowling did its job but batting failed them. West Indies take a 1-0 lead in the series.
You are wrong in that aspect, that was an unexpected win but I expected same kind of performance by Pak team because they have no mindset to chase the target and 211 target was very big for Pakistan because I saw Pak in same kind of situation and always Pak lose the match and I was taking with my brother about the target in this match and I said that if west Indies made 200 plus score then they will win because Pak will not be able to chase 200 target and I was right and Pak lose by high margin. West Indies bowlers gave their all effort for the team, and Babar Azam's confidence was very low in this match. He should try to give confidence to other players to stay on the wicket, and Imam ul Haq's shot selection was very wrong in this match and Pak could have won this match with little effort.
