Blaming him for losing match is bad but he deserves criticism for lack of game awareness but at the same time, batting with the tail is art and very few batters are capable of doing this on consistent basis.

Maybe he actually gave up all the hope winning or really trusted tailenders that they can survive 5 remaining balls. Both scenario sounds bizarre if you are skipper.

Pakistan cricket is messed up and irony is that PCB is not much interested in clearing this mess. In first test match it was tail that collapsed and in second innings it was whole batting lineup that collapsed. Babar Azam and Rizwan have history of playing innings that were useless for the team but helped them in improving there stats. Now Babar Azam is captain so nobody can axe Rizwan from the team. Pakistan team in WTC has won just one match and lost four. They need to win the next game to level the series.   

PCB is the main culprit but at the same time senior players are not saint either.

Almost everyone is involved in like some sort of territory war and creating their own faction. New guys don't have any say anyway and coaches are helpless especially if it's a foreign coach or supporting staff. Desi coaches ki bhi alag scheme chal rahi hoti hai.

Senior players now are confident that they will be part of team whether they perform or not.

I feel for guys like Naseem, hasan ali ( he used to be a team player). If Naseem survive his injuries, after that poor guy has to survive management as well. I stopped following pakistan cricket so don't know if parchi system is still going on.

And the next thing we know, a Hero of Pakistan is in prison and rotting till he dies. This is the state of a cricketing legend and an ex PM. This country is so divided,  controlled, and scared that they forgot their hero. Then how will a new hero come up? This society is so controlled that if you talk about the legend Imran Khan, then they will either lose their job or get killed. Shame on them and Shame on their upbringing. They have already stooped so low that only the rich, politicians, and now the common man, licking the alpha of the army, can survive in 2026.

Their cricket has already gone down the drain; so have hockey and other games. In the CWG 2026, they are at the bottom in the medal tally while India is in the 4th position. The fact is, their establishment does not cares about them but themselves.

Mohammad Ali's excellent bowling performance has led to the dismissal of Tagenarine Chanderpaul of the West Indies team, due to which the West Indies team is already feeling some pressure. Brandon King was already in good batting form but he has already been dismissed after scoring 46 runs, which is very difficult for him because he could not reach half-century for a while. However, in today's match, the Pakistan team is definitely trying to stop the West Indies team on the first day with the aim of drawing the Test series. Since the West Indies team has won the first Test match, then the Pakistan team should definitely win their second Test match and the Test series will be tied. The bowling performance of the Pakistan team seems to be very strong, in that case their batting performance will also have to improve, but in any case, Pakistan has put the West Indies team under a lot of pressure in today's match.

And then it will be time to see how far the Pakistani batsmen have come by reducing their reliance on Babar Azam and how Mohammad Rezwan, Salman Agha, Imam Ul Haq actually perform without him. I think if all of them perform well little by little, then beating the West Indies team will not be a big deal for the Pakistan team. But here too, if Babar Azam dependency is seen again, then there is a high possibility that the Pakistan team will fall.

As usual, the Pakistani bowling attack again failed to stop the WI from scoring good runs on day 1. The Captain of the Pakistani side was so delusional while setting the field that he forgot that they needed extra slips. Ian Bishop kept on shouting the same thing while he was doing the live commentary. 235 is a good score on a pitch that started turning on day 1. From here, if the WI batters play well, then they can reach near 400 runs. This will be a problem for the Pakistani batters, as they lost the first test because of their batting.

If you want to see what's wrong with the Pakistani cricket, then 2nd test match playing XI is fine example.

I mean who needs washed out bowler, who only picked 8 wickets in the last match. If you can't even pick 10fer then you should be dropped, based selection call.

Changing bowlers won't help them, and it is clear that Babar Azam looks clueless and confused as a captain; in the first half hour, with 3 slips and two gully, they dropped three catches. While the captain remains clueless and unbothered. He should have extended the slip, which he might have forgotten, I assume.

I think Babar Azam is receiving a bit more criticism. While Shan Masood was one of the worst captains; he was not criticized as much. but after just one test match criticism seems to be directed more at Babar Azam. Along with Pakistan's batters, Pakistan's bowlers are also responsible for this disastrous defeat. Pakistani bowlers bowled poorly, bowl nine no-balls. I didn't understand the strategy of Babar Azam and the Test head coach, Sarfraz Ahmed. I think It was difficult for the Pakistani batsmen to play on this pitch, because if they tried to dominate, they lost quick wickets.

At the start of the second match, the Pakistan team looked completely helpless in the first few over. Pakistan fielding was quite poor in this match, and the field placements were also weak But then the momentum shifted back to Pakistan after the rain, and the Pakistani bowlers started taking wickets. There is a lot of grass on this wicket, So Pakistan performance should be appreciated, since they didn't allow West Indian batsmen Justin Greaves to complete their centuries. West Indies team was not able to score 400 runs but they must be satisfied after scoring 344 runs in first innings. Justin Greaves who was man of the match in last game due to his bowling has done a good job with bat in first innings by scoring 73 runs. The partnership of 96 runs between    Justin Greaves and Roston Chase came at a time when WI have lost 5 wickets for 173 runs. Pakistan batting must learn from WI that its not only responsibility of top order to score runs but lower order must also have to play their part in scoring runs.

At the moment looks like they are fine with their scoring rate not that bad as first game but they should really bring changes in their strategy if they have the dream of making a comeback ever in the international games, imagine how they will be humiliated if they play against top teams.

Shahid Afridi has good connections within PCB management and that is giving confidence to Shaheen that he will be part of playing XI no matter how he performs. Same is for Shadab Khan, his father in law is also doing lobbing for his damad. Players these days are not much interested in test, they don't mind if they are dropped from test squad. They want to be part of T20 squad, where fame and money is.

Muhammad Abbas who picked 8 wickets in first test is dropped in second match. This guy made his debut almost 9 years ago and is given chances on and off despite his good performance, it's insane.
