Siraj used to be so bad in digging out so it was good to see him holding one end for 30 odd balls. Also, the way he celebrate other people's milestones and success is wholesome.

I am not seeing the live match as I do not like when the other side does give a good fight. So far by looking at the score board it seems Srilankan's have lost the urge to win this match. They have already lost 4 wickets, 2 in the first session today. It is only day 3 and by the end of today they will lose more wickets. Only Krishna is has been able to use the pitch by taking 2 wickets today. DSP should be give a few overs if pacers are benefiting from these conditions.

I like Jurel for his calm demeanour but he seemed to have lapse in judgement with that single as it was completely unwarranted; he got lucky, that throw didn't hit the wickets. Now, on his celebration, although, I do like his mere salute celebration, but need to calm down with more army antics.

Plus, 9 wickets down, why would you declare? Let 'em play aggressive. If they were to go for hit on every ball, how long they gonna last? couple overs at best.

7 wickets are gone, and we might see the end of this test match on day 3 itself. Shuman should have brought Shiraz back earlier. I fail to understand his defensive tactics. Saransh Jain was not productive with the bat and looks unlikely to be productive with the ball either. He has not been able to get a single wicket in his debut Test match.

India won the first match quite comfortably and their position in second test is also very strong. Sri Lanka team need to do lot of efforts to win or draw this game but I don't think Indian bowlers will gave away the advantage given to them by their batting lineup. After disappointing bowling in first inning, Sri Lanka had disappointing start of batting in first innings, as they have lost 2 wickets in first 3 overs and now remaining 8 batsmen have a huge job at their disposal. I think it won't be a problem for Indian team to win this test.     

Yes, the Indian team is currently in a dominating position and will win this test match very easily. Sri Lanka has lost eight wickets so far, scoring 265 runs, and still trails by 238 runs. It has become very difficult for the Sri Lankan batsmen to add more runs.  Indian team will start their second innings in the first session of day three with a huge lead of 200-plus. On the third day, Sri Lanka lost 8 wickets while batting but it seems that they will be all out very soon as they do not have any reliable batsmen. Although now there is no reliable batsman to support Sonal Dinusha, in that case it will not take much time to get out two wickets. Sonal Dinusha could be a challenge for India team but IND will will try to collect wickets in the first 10 overs and there are more chances they will get the remaining wickets.  Mohammed Siraj is attacking bowler who will try to take wickets in early overs as he will get swing in first overs .

I remember someone (Pdogg I guess but not sure) who knows about cricket keep saying that the only advice he want to give to the tail enders in a test game is they should play 30 balls irrespective of they score any runs and ultimately that is really a good advice because our Indian tail is one of the weakest among the best test teams and if we get some contribution from tailenders to stretch the innings if not more runs that will change the course of many games.

I noticed that India went attacking mode and it paid off well, SL batters fell for the trap by trying to attack more balls and that is how most of the wickets fell today.

As expected srilanka 8 wickets are down on 265 on the end of day 3. From srilankan side s.dinusha is notout on 85 runs and is the only hope for srilanka and kumara is also pesent on the crease. Krishna and suthar bowls well and have took 3 wickets each by them. I like the game india is playing beacause this is the test cricket they are playing very well and i hope they will take a good lead and will easily win this win match.

I am not expecting this match as draw because currently scores are level and Sri Lanka lost 4 wickets 30 overs left in fourth days play 2 to 3 more wickets will make good difference for them while Sri Lanka needs to be stay as much they can but their batting is at lowest level. My first feeling was not good about giving another batting to Sri Lanka, but the bowlers are doing a good job; having the top 4 is not bad.
Any target between 100 and 120 is going to be easily achievable for them without any problem. This win with a score of 2 - 0 could be a big one for them at this time. While three Asian teams are losing their depth in the test format, it's a big blow for them in the long run alone; India is holding things at the top level.

Edit: Big wicket for India, Pasindu Sooriyabandara is gone on 92. It's all over for the home team; the most chances are now the match can end today.

And with that India has won the first game of the 2 test matches series against Sri Lanka, in the next match, Sri Lanka needs to make come back at any cost but at the same time, we needs to realize that some of the key players of Sri Lanka are not able  to play the second in which the names comes of Kusal Mendis and Dinesh Chandimal where as also chances for Pathum Nissanka. Maybe I think that the major reason behind this loss in the first match is because of these major players' injuries.
