Yes, it's a big wicket, and also they got a few more wickets, so that the Sri Lankan team is right now on only 229 runs after loosing the six wickets, but the interesting part is the match faced a rain delay again and is currently on stumps.
I hope the weather will be good tomorrow and then maybe we will be able to see a full match, otherwise I don't think the Indian team will be able to win this match, rather it will be a draw.

And I have said before that if the Sri Lankan team is all out for less than 300 runs, then the Indian team will have a much higher chance of winning. Well, this didn't age well. Didn't expect this match to go till day 5 but impressive; SL did well in second innings.

we needs to realize that some of the key players of Sri Lanka are not able  to play the second in which the names comes of Kusal Mendis and Dinesh Chandimal where as also chances for Pathum Nissanka.

Sonal Dinusha indeed deserves man of the series award, but I doubt he will get it. He may get it if Sri Lanka manages to make it a draw for the great batting performance of Sonal Dinusha. He still got recognized and the due credit by being named Player of the Match. It was evident that Devdutt Padikkal would be declared Player of the Series. This guy is a good batter; I can't say much about his bowling, as he only bowled 3 overs in the first innings. He debuted last year in Test cricket against Bangladesh and did incredible batting against India as he is the only reason why Sri Lanka was able to draw the match.

Indian bowlers did everything they can, maybe they should be more attacking instead of waiting for the wickets to fall, other than that we can't complain about anything even the newbie did fine if not the best. And the great thing came from the SLs lower ordern in both the innings along with Dinusha that saved this game, should be a lesson for every other team too.

I'd have liked if paddikal and dinuska had shared the man of the series award but from award committee's POV. Paddikal performances helped his side to win series but dinuska brilliant performance avoided the whitewash. Both are equally important and deserve credit but result oriented weightage also matters.
