I was not expecting result like this but now its all end just Finch is on 94 and going for hundred its already all end.

I was also not expecting this as i was expecting an average first innings score of above 275 runs and made a good bet on that and lost the bet and now both the Australian openers scored their century and aiming for a complete domination without loosing any wicket, when the pitch report said that it would be a batting wicket i did not expect this but it was a batting wicket for Australia as the Indian bowlers are struggling to contain the runs nor pick a wicket.

Even 275 is not enough on a flat track such as Wankhede, but I expected the Indian bowlers to give a tough fight to Australia. Perhaps they should experiment with Navdeep Saini for the next match. He is faster than Shardul Thakur in the air, and that should give him a bit of advantage on flat tracks. Also, Kuldeep Yadav failed to trouble the Australian batsmen. I guess Yuzvendra Chahal would be a better choice for the next match.

Anyway, didn't expect such a thrashing from the Aussies. It's really a disappointing start for India, let's hope they'll come back in the next match at Rajkot on 17th. I really don't want a whitewash from them

Totally unexpected from the team India as this was just a one sided match. India would be totally disappointed as pitch was the same but what a difference between two teams, one took all 10 wickets and other could not even pick up a single wicket. Warner was man of the match due to his 128 not out and Finch too played well for his not out innings of 110.

I didn't expected this when match started and I don't remember many games where India lost to Aussie in such manner. Last humiliating and one sided game i remember is 2003 WC final match. One thing is clear, no matter what. Best batsman should bat at Number 3 and now Indian team need to get their shit together in the next game, which they are very capable of doing. Otherwise this home series will not look good in their scorecard.

When the match started i was expecting a competitive match and i am seeing India dominated by an opposition in India after a very long time, when ever any team comes to India the matches are always close victory and i was also expecting that but this was a one sided trashing and India was experimenting too much with weaker teams and now the experiment backfired and it is good to see some teams dominating India.

Australia dominated India while they are touring and it was a special match for everyone as they were able to defeat the hyped surrounding India when they defeated minnows in cricket for the past few months and i was looking forward to their series against Australia New Zealand and England and how they are going to play against these nations rather than the rest of the countries and i am sure India will bounce back from the defeat but the first match showed how dominant Australia can be with their current form.

It seems match is already slipped away from India now as they are 110/0 in 14 overs and now just require 147 runs in 36 overs with 10 wickets in hand. It should be very easy chase for them now as Warner and Finch are hammering the bowlers everywhere. Can India turnaround from here?

The Indian captain made the mistake of sticking on with the pace bowlers. Shardul Thakur and Mohammad Shami were conceding a lot of runs, and the Australian batsmen (David Warner and Aaron Finch) were making use of their pace to score runs. He should have called the spinners earlier. The run rate dipped once Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja started their spells.

Bowling has always been an issue with the Indian side. Four seemers and only one spinner was a big mistake. Indians are known for spin balling and Australians are known to struggle with it.

Too much experimenting with the batting line up has resulted in this worst performance by the Indian side. As a captain you know you are set as 3rd batsman for more than a decade why experiment with the order?

This tournament is not meant for experimenting, I guess the captain and the coach forgot.

Yeah, but bowlers shouldn't take all the blame when the batsmen too did not perform well. Not being able to take a single wicket was still fine if they had to have a good economy rate and let the Aussies struggle with dot balls. Except for Jadeja and Yadav, the remaining best bowlers of the team were miserable. Jadeja made Warner struggle.

Winning the toss was a major factor so hope next time India wins the toss and bowls first.

Let's hope the best for India. But, as you can see, this is the fourth consecutive loss for India against the Aussies in India. In the 2019 series, India was leading the series and went on to lose the last three matches losing the series. The Aussies have become accustomed to Indian pitches because of the IPL, so it will really be a tough task for India to win the next two matches in this series.

When Tendulkar was playing he was the only player who could change the match and the entire team revolved around him until Gangually and Dravid established themselves in the team but now the team might revolve around Kohli but Rahul and Rohit Sharma are performing as well and if India is getting a good start then they usually set a good score and Dhoni was there to protect one end even if the top order failed but now we are not having Dhoni and if the top order fails the entire team fails

I would not agree to it beacuse now each and every player is capable of match winnings innings by himself as against before case . Now consider Rohit , Dhawan , Hardin, KL Rahul, Jadeja etc can make you win by bat as well individually .

What a terrific experience of the home team, Nobody expects such type of result even Team Australia, I think this is the lesson for the India and Virat, I think 255 was not a good score but what Warner and Finch have done that was unbelievable, only a lot of dedication and confidence could be the way of getting such type of performance, After coming back to the team, Warner is passing a marvelous time with his bat, So this is the way a great player has to prove, again and again, I think team India has to learn a lot of thing from that match but my prediction goes to Australia to win this series.
