Tbh it turned out to be a warm up match that's why so many changes in the batting order. At times it felt like Rohit and Kohli didn't want to bat at all.
Hope they get some resistance or some shock in the next matches because this tour was supposed to be a preparation for WC.

They couldn't even add 100 more runs after losing their first wicket today. They got all out in just 181 runs from 90/1. There will be nothing to surprise if they get a shock today by losing the match.

Its a golden opportunity for West Indies to win an ODI against a strong team. This win will indicate that there is still some strength in West Indies team. West indies cricket is at its worst these days, they were knocked out of ODI world cup for the very first time in the history.

Shai Hope played well and made it a winning match with the support from Keacy Carty who are the top scorers for West Indies. A much needed win for West Indies and this win will make them more energetic to win the last ODI.

These kinds of defeats can be a blessing in disguise so i won't read much into it.

But my major worry is team balance. It looks way too messy, even if they win the match. Don't know how many matches India playing before the ODI WC and they are searching for a lot of answers.

Atm only Rohit, Virat, Jadeja and probably Shami are fixed for WC playing XI.

Apart from Rohit and Virat, other Indian batsmen have failed to perform consistently in SENA conditions. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill have performed decently so far, and I would expect then to be included in the squad for the World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav is another player who have almost assured his spot in the squad. BTW, I would like the BCCI to stop providing chances to the two over-rated players (Sanju Samson and Umran Malik). These two have been provided with almost infinite number of opportunities and have failed to make use of them.

I think Siraj is also fixed for the ODI squad. Previously Subhaman Gill stunned the Indian fans with his marvellous performance. But now his position as an opener is also at risk. Fans are demanding for Shikhar Dhawan in place of him as an opener. Also in this WI series, they wanted Ishan to audition for number 4 position, but Ishan played exceptionally as an opening batsman. This maybe also a troublesome news for Subhman, as Rohit and Ishan can also open the matches.

Really disappointed by yesterday’s match performance by Indian team. They got defeated by the poor West Indies. Does this only mean Rohit and Virat can only lead the team to victory? These poor performances of the players was seen from the last two matches. Also Hardik didn’t do well in captaining, as he failed to take wickets with the bowlers as Rohit did in the last match.

Despite all the odds, the West Indies won the match, an unexpected result for most including me. The Indian team were 90-1 and was looking comfortable to win this match before the collapse happen and the rest of the team could only make 91 more runs. Gudakesh Motie and Romario Shepherd took three wickets each and the West Indies team look as a good bowling unit after a long time.

I posted earlier that if you have bet on WI before the start of the match, the odds were above 4. Is anyone lucky who took the risk and bet on the West Indies?

I noticed that yesterday's team formation lacked some older players. Because especially on the performance of experienced and older players in past matches and also using intelligence and strategy, Indian team has performed very well in ODI matches. But Indian team loving fans could never accept that India team made such a small run basket with West Indies. I can see Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's place not being filled with other players due to which the Indian team is in this difficult situation.

India performance at home ground is always exceptional. So whatever team combination will be they will perform well in coming ODI worldcup. West Indies finally able to win an ODI, thanks to India decision of not going with Rohit and Virat. Sanju and Umran are given too much chances but we are yet to see some extra ordinary performance from these two. May be they start performing if given too much chances like Virat Kohli.

The performance of West Indies against India in the first match was similar to the performance of West Indies in the second match which led West Indies to an easy six-wicket victory over India. 
The win in the second ODI match for West Indies was very gratifying because when a team wins against a team after four years, the feeling of victory is really different.

I really did not think that West Indies was going to beat India, to be honest. But West Indies has achieved the win against India. They did it very well too. The batting lineup of India actually failed.

I know that @LittleBitFunny said that both openers from India performed well. But I will say that only Ishan Kishan was the one who performed well. And I don’t believe that any other player from India was actually able to perform well. West Indies did a very good job of picking up wickets at regular intervals. In the second innings west Indies also did very well to actually chase down the total. The third match is going to be the decider and India will certainly have to perform better.

And I agree with @Litzki1990 that this is certainly a cause for concern for India

Not sure if "SENA conditions" argument is completely true. I didn't look in detail but a fair amount of existing players have alright numbers in SENA and some are averaging in mid 40s and 50s. Sanju is one of them. Sky on the other hand is not performing.

Again here I will say that we can't underestimate the West Indies team. Many of here was saying how you can say that and you should bet on West Indies and bla bla bla. But thing is that this is the game. And in the cricket match we can say this the game of 10 balls only. And the game can be finished.
So thing is that I believe that the Indian team is good but I was saying that we can't underestimate the West Indies team.

West Indies team is playing at home, and India won't underestimate their opponents. In the second ODI, India tried out a different batting order, but unfortunately, it did not work out well, and ended up losing the match. The decision to experiment backfired on them, but a good victory for West Indies. Brathwaite's team is looking to end their losing streak, and determined after failing to qualify for the ODI World Cup in 2023. They believe that they can make a strong comeback as this setbacks are just temporary.
