Alright Pakistan has the right to host Asia Cup after a long time but a political issue of Pakistan mishandling the Case Ramz Rajja is a great chairman of PCB and he stands if India comes to Pakistan to play Asia Cup 2023 Pakistan will go to India for ICC World Cup 2023. But after Govt change and the borad chairman change policy will also changed. This is really a big headache. The schedule and logistics gets quite complicated, if the matches are being hosted in two different countries that are thousands of kilometers apart from each other. It creates additional headache for the fans, as well as for the TV broadcasters. All this could be avoided. PCB could just enter into a revenue sharing agreement with any of the other countries and then shift the matches there. Or else, ICC need to talk to BCCI and make sure that they don't have an issue with Pakistan hosting major ICC tournaments. The current situation is not viable in the long term.

We've got more ODI matches in the upcoming months. By the ongoing month end Asian Cup gonna start and soon after that ODI World Cup gonna start. By this time Ab De Villiers have come up with the prediction on the teams to reach the semifinals. Among them are the host nation India, defending champion England along with Australia. On the fourth spot there is much expectations on Pakistan, and his choice is different. Ab De Villiers have given the fourth spot for his own Country South Africa. Not one match here and the next match there. And of course Pakistan is in the right to ask to host the tournament. The Asia cup is already decided to be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. That is not going to change. But I think we all know that the same drama is going to happen again. The champions Trophy is being played after such a long time and I don’t think anyone wants to see so much drama that it somehow gets cancelled.  I believe the last champions trophy was played in 2017. After six years, we don’t want so much drama to be honest. At least I don’t want to see so much drama. I hope the champions Trophy eventually ends up being played. Pakistan does hold the right to host the champions Trophy. But I am pretty sure that the whole tournament is not going to be played in Pakistan.

The most possible reason, promos etc got delayed because of drama between BCCI and PCB. A fair amount of discussions were going on and at some point, there was no surety of the Asia cup.

True. I was also thinking that this year's Asia Cup may get cancelled. Would have been a big blow for Nepal, who qualified after so much hard work. But even now, a lot of things are still complicated. Teams need to travel thousands of miles, shuffling between matches in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. It would have been much better if Sri Lanka was granted exclusive hosting rights. But then, it would be unfair to Pakistan, who were hosting the tournament after a big gap. In the end, it is going to be hard for the players, as well as for the fans.

I don't know how is this hosting like, where the original hosts (Pakistan) are given only 4 matches to host in their own country, in this Asia Cup.

What difference did it make if they do not host these four matches too and all the matches of the Asia Cup to be played in 2023 ? Maybe the players know how difficult it is to move from country to county in order to play the games of the same tournament and adjust to the changing conditions.

Almost everyone will say the same thing that if Pakistan and India are not present in the World Cup then the World Cup will not get its full essence. The media will definitely look these two teams differently. They also now understand the value of India vs Pakistan matches. In the last T20 World Cup not only the media but also the organizers got a good idea about this issue. These two teams will face each other in the upcoming Asia Cup where this match will be one of the best matches for the entire tournament.

As long as there is right wing government in power in India you cannot expect any change in this decision.

I think we all know why it is only an issue with cricket. Cricket is very big in both of these countries. So of course there are going to be drama around cricket in both of these countries. I want people to understand that in a cricket match between India and Pakistan, there are so many big names coming to see the match which is absolutely insane. Those names do not even visit the NBA matches or not even any football match to be honest.

Almost every big Baller comes to see the match between India and Pakistan. That is why there are so much interest in a match between India and Pakistan. And that is also the reason why there are so many politics going on around this match. The other sports are not as affected as cricket by the political drama between these two countries, and that’s because the other sports are not big enough in these countries to be honest.

It will be interesting if the Champions Trophy is played in Bangladesh. I don’t think it is going to be played in India. Either system and Bangladesh or Pakistan and UAE. As you said, Sri Lanka is already a part of the Asia cup. And the tracks in UAE are just simply not good enough for competitive matches. So it is not going to be absolutely wild to assume that probably Bangladesh is going to be a part of the champions trophy. It does not matter if the champions Trophy is the date in Pakistan and Bangladesh / Pakistan and UAE. India is going to be happy anyways.

Alright That's why there is no world cup without the Pakistani team and the media will lose money and interest from people from it Pakistan is a strong team last 2 world cup he played in Semi final of the ICC world cup 2021 and played the Final of ICC world cup T20 2022. And i think Pakistan is a very Strong team nowadays and have a very good chance to win the World Cup 2023 because they have The 1 ODI player Babar Azam and the best fast bowlers in the world that is why if Pakistan is boycott the World Cup then Media or people no one interested in it. I think Pakistan will go for world cup 23 and make things interesting for fans and Media.

Don't expect anything from this puppet government of Pakistan. If it had been Imran Khan the PM and Ramiz Raja the chairman of PCB, we would have been given a tough time to the BCCI but this puppet government have destroyed the patriotism among us. That's right. ICC generate a handsome revenue from India vs Pakistan matches. Because these are neighbor countries and both are enemy with each other so in the cricket match these both nations have sentiments and even sometimes we hear about suicide attempts after losing. And also, for quite some time there have been no major conflict incidents between these two countries, apart from the low-level guerilla warfare being waged in Kashmir. Fans have moved on, and India vs Pakistan is no longer one of their priorities. They are more concerned about India not winning a major ICC tournament for a while.
