Although the results of the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka teams so far are all, so the chances of victory of Bangladesh team in the last match today are very high. Because if they can't perform well with the Sri Lankan team at their home ground, then it is humiliating for the supporters of the Bangladeshi team. In the second ODI match Sri Lanka won by a narrow margin of 3 wickets. However, Bangladesh will perform best in the third ODI match as Bangladesh team is led by experienced bowlers and batting stand and skilled captain. So Bangladesh team must win this match to keep the balance right in this match and the whole season.

A new team has been announced for the third ODI match where Jakir Hasan has got a new place in the Bangladesh team. The chief selector felt it was important to make this change in the team mainly because of Liton Das's consistent poor performances. Liton Das was the auto choice of the selectors in the three formats of the Bangladesh team, but it is good that the selectors managed to come out of that auto choice. 

At times players must be benched so that they realize their performance is poor and try to get back into the team. Liton Das is out of the team surely he will work harder and prove himself more capable then try to come back in the team it is definitely a good decision by the board.

This decision was effective. And Bangladesh also needed this change. Liton Das' performance was never consistent. He is a good batsman and now quite experienced, yet Bangladesh team never get better performance from Liton consistently. Although he can bat well in 2/1 matches, we have seen bad batting from Liton in most of the matches. Bangladesh management has provided Liton with many opportunities. But he has not yet proved his ability.

Jakir Hasan is a talented batsman. In T20 matches we have seen excellent batting from jakir. But I doubt if he will be able to play well in the opening position. Bangladesh management must consider these aspects.

Bangladesh has a lot of young batsmen. But they are not getting enough opportunities. So now that Liton is not in good form, he has not been able to perform well for a long time, so now young players should be given a chance. Liton has been given plenty of time by BCB. But we didn't see any improvement in Liton's performance. Liton's performance deteriorated day by day. Perhaps Liton lacks confidence. This is why he is not playing well.

Jakir is likely to be added to the squad as a replacement for Liton. Tanzim sakib may not be with the squad in the last ODI as well. He will miss the match due to injury. Hasan Mahmud can be added to the squad as a replacement for Tanzim Sakib.

I agree. I expected the Lankans to come back strong in the second ODI and that is exactly what happened. I bet on Bangladesh to win the final ODI since they seem to have the momentum on their side.

Bangladesh need to make sure that they don't collapse while the Lankans will probably depend on Madushanka and Hasaranga to trigger a collapse.

Sri Lanka have levelled the series by winning second ODI, the performance of Bangladesh in both ODIs played so far is competitive. In my view both teams have equal chances of winning the final game. I checked betting odds and find out that Sri Lanka have odds in there favour. Sri Lanka need to be very careful in tomorrows encounter as Bangladesh are too strong at there home ground.

What I have heard so far is that the Bangladesh team has dropped Litton Das for the third ODI match. I am also hearing that they are going to give Jaker a chance.

Remember him from the second T20 match? He almost successfully took Bangladesh to the winning line. I am really looking forward to seeing him perform if Bangladesh actually have made that change. The top order of Bangladesh has been suffering and I hope that will actually change. But in my opinion,a Soumya also has to go unless he can perform consistently. He did well in the last match so I think he will play.

^^^ I am not sure whether Litton Kumer Das will be dropped. His form during the recent few matches have been poor, but overall he has been one of the better performing Bangladeshi batsmen. BTW, Dilshan Madushanka will be unavailable for today's match since he's suffering from a hamstring injury. Either pacer Chamika Karunaratne or the spinner Maheesh Theekshana will be replacing him. Either way, it is good news for Bangladesh. And latest news is that Sri Lanka has elected to bat, after winning the toss.

Liton Das is a classic batsman as we know but he has been suffering from inconsistency recently. His performance in BPL was not good at all and after BPL he failed completely in the first three T20 matches against Sri Lanka even though he was given a chance in the ODI series but he managed to bowl only three balls in the first 2 ODI matches. We can well understand that Liton Das has a clear weakness in batting with the new ball. Since he has considerable weakness in batting with the new ball, the management may try to make him bat in some other position instead of batting in the opening position. 

The main point is that Liton Das should return to the consistency of doing one match well and the remaining ten matches being bad, it is unfair to the team.

As I am writing this, another wicket fall and  Sadeera Samarawickrama is also out scoring only 14 runs. Taskin Ahmed has taken two wickets from Bangladesh and is looking in full confidence to make sure Sri Lanka team unable to score any reasonable target in this match.

Yes that's Liton Das if he plays well in one match he is auto pick for next ten matches which is happening constantly. Liton Kumar Das lacks the aggressive attitude that opening batsmen have. You are saying that he is a classic batsman if he gives a classic performance in one match and plays badly in the remaining 10 matches, then that classic performance is of no value. Every team has an additional demand on the opening batsman of its team but the opening batsmen of Bangladesh repeatedly fail to fulfill that demand. The responsibility of the opening batsmen is to play patiently in the early stages and take his team to a strong position.

I was surprised too. A day match on a Monday is dumb as hell. In comparison, RCB vs DC final on Sunday night ticked all the right boxes and probably generated a lot of revenue for  the BCCI.

He's the reason that they got a respectable score though it's still quite low if you ask me. Great bowling by Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka stuck at 235 run so today in the 3rd odi match the target will be for Bangladesh is 236 run only,  And I think that as ODI cricket format does not have many runs, today I think Bangladesh can play a little comfortably. None of the Sri Lankan top-order batsmen played very well today, except Janith Liyanage's century.  I think it is because of this player that Sri Lanka managed to cross 200.  Otherwise, Sri Lanka would not have crossed 200 runs today.
However, the sad thing is that a player from Bangladesh came to catch the number 9 towards the last and had to be knocked out and left the field.  Enamul and Zaker Ali crash while catching up with each other and Zaker Ali gets injured.
Anyway Looking at Sri Lanka's first innings performance today, I think Bangladesh is going to win this series.

You got a home series and both teams are playing good cricket, it's poised well with a scoreline of 1-1. You have to make a spectacle out of it, instead, they are playing in front of empty stands. It tells you more about how many cricket boards are only interested in freeloading.

The first two ODIs were Day and Night, the second ODI was also at Chattogram. Don't know why they kept 3rd ODI for Monday and that too in day light. Already there is limited viewership for ODI and Test, if boards keep scheduling series like this then it will end up like today's game. 
Janith Liyanage maiden ODI century has given Sri Lankan bowlers some hope. Score predictor was predicting 215 but Sri Lankans concluded there innings at 235. Still Bangladesh favourite to win today's contest unless they do some serious blunders in batting.
