If you ask me so I will say that.. that was a big target. Because that is women cricket team who made 270 runs in 50 overs. And did not you see Yazmin Brits. How she played. She made 116 runs on 128 balls. Means she hit a century which could help South Women team to win but unfortunately the match finished without any results. By the way on the other hand SriLanka was also doing well but they collected 23 runs with any loss. They played only 7 overs. And this is really difficult to say which team would win if the match completed. But I think South Africa could win.

The match got washed out, else South Africa would have won it. 270 is a match-wining total in women's cricket. On top of that, Sri Lankan women are not in great form with the bat recently. Vishmi Gunaratne and Chamari Athapaththu got them to a slow but steady start, but looking at the scoring rate, it was very unlikely for Sri Lanka to win the match. Anyway, they should now focus on the second match, which is scheduled to take place at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley. Unless there is rain interruption, chances look slim for Sri Lanka.

In upcoming South Africa Women vs Sri Lanka Women ODI match in East London both teams have strengths and weaknesses. Sri Lanka Women's team and South Africa Women's team will play three ODI matches in the ODI series between them, out of which one match was played and one match was drawn.However, the T20 series between these two teams was completely dominated by the Sri Lankan women's team as they won two of the three T20 matches to clinch the T20 series. The first ODI match was called off because of persistent rain. It's really disappointing news, especially after witnessing such a brilliant century by Taz. It seems like rain has always been a problem for South African teams. However, some middle-order batters didn't seem focused, and that needs to be addressed. The rain had the final say in the first ODI, however, the South African women can take comfort in the fact that they were still able to gain valuable batting practice.

Well, I too agree that South African women's is a better team but if we see the odds for this match, you will get 3.55 odds if you bet on Sri Lankan women's team in the ODI match to be played on April 13.
However, if Sri Lanka can get a good start, it may get interested. It's worth taking a risk with less money. Sometimes an underdog team also wins, we never know.

Yeah the match was end due to the unexpected rain came in the middle of the game when srilankan women players came to the ground and start hitting the ball. I am very impressed by the batting of brits , she played 128 balls and make 116 runs which is not a low score. These runs include only fours , she did not hit any six in this inning hope we can see her in the next match. Also the captain wolvaardt also played a good inning by securing 49 runs. Today match will be very fascinating if there was no rain occurs because we just saw the batting of South Africa, the match will be more interested if we saw the inning of South Africa too. But I am sad because of the slow initiative of Sri Lankan team, I know judging on their first overs is not good but sometimes you can predict from their first moves.

So it is not all doom and gloom for the Lankan women. Sri Lanka managed to score just 226 batting first, but then they surprised everyone when they bowled out England for just 118 runs. Teams played well like Papua New Guinea doing well in their first match against USA. But then they lost to Scotland in next match. And you mentioned Kathryn Bryce so I also think she did very well in batting for Scotland but it also showed that Scotland does also have many good batters. Kathryn Bryce played for Gujarat Giants this season at the Women's Premier League, and I guess it worked to her advantage. Scotland Women won their match against Papua New Guinea Women by a big margin yesterday, and Bryce picked up 2 crucial wickets. Katherine Fraser and Saskia Horley shared 5 wickets between them. Kathryn Bryce and Saskia Horley managed to add 108 runs for the second wicket partnership for Scotland, and the single partnership was almost equal to the total scored by the Papua New Guinea Women.
