3rd ODI - New Zealand Women Vs England Women

Third ODI between New Zealand and England is in progress. England after winning the toss decided to bowl first and after 4 overs New Zealand score is 11 without loss of any wicket. England Women has already won the ODI series and today game is for whitewash

England Women won by 5 wickets against New Zealand Women again and thus they able to whitewash New Zealand women team. In recent matches, new Zealand Women able to scored 140-150 runs by losing all wickets where England Women easily Chased that runs by losing 1 or 2 wickets only. Although in 3rd match, new Zealand Women was seen developed, as we can see this time they were able to cross more than 210+ runs. England Women won the toss and opted to fielding and that's why New Zealand Women went to bat first again as like recent matches. Well they scored 211-8 runs in 42 Overs where Sophie Devine(43) made good runs and Amelia Kerr(57) did half century. Besides the start of England Women team wasn't much good. Lost 3 wickets at 33-3 runs. But anyone they recovered everything. Amy Jones(50) did half century and Nat Sciver (76) did legendary performance that made England Women team won the match again

This was no ordinary defeat.  One lost the match and the other lost the series and won three matches out of three and also lost this defeat.  New Zealand perform in this series was very poor.  Their bowlers were perform well but their batsmen were not achieve the target.  And in this match too the New Zealand batsmen had given a good target of 211 but their bowler did not stop the run and took only 5 wicket and lost the match.  They needed a good perform from the first match of the series.  But she was not interest in it and used to lose matches.  Congratulations to England on this win.  England Women batsmen play defensively and keep their pace high which has won them more matches.  If the New Zealand team also follows this, they can win the match.  If their bowlers were successful with their good bowling, they could have won the match, but it was not to their advantage as England Women had already won 2 matches.

In 3rd ODi match England U19 played first and made 268 runs in 45 overs due to rain 5 overs reduced per side as per DLS method the target was 265 runs for sri lanka U19 team excellent batting by England U19 batsman Luc benkenstein he scored century while Charlie Allison also made 87 runs which help their team to post a good target. Sri lanka U19 team failed to chase the target they are just close to victory and lost by only 4 runs Sri lanka U19 needed 13 runs on last 12 deliveries but unluckily they could not chase The main reason for losing is that they had lost their wickets early. Credit goes to England U19 bowlers Brilliant bowling by Dominic Kelly he takes 5 wickets which created an impressive role to put pressure on Sri lankan batsman and finally they won last ODi by 4 runs with this win England U19 won this series by 2-1

Yes I fully watch this match of Youth ODi Competition among England Under 19s squad against Sri Lanka Under 19s sqaud. Due to some incident like rain and wet crease, overs were reduced to 45 and outcome was announced according to DLS method. England under 19s sqaud has begun this match first with batting Inning by winning the toss task. This match was finished very narrow margin of scores and both squads gave very hard time to each other but fight among two squads, victory goes to only one squad and England under 19s squad has emerged victorious in this match and also won this competition with 2 wins and one lose. England won the series 2-1, after losing the first match. But even then it was a strong performance from the Lankans. Vihas Thewmika in particular impressed me. He is just 18-years old and bowls off-spin. Played all the three matches, and picked up a total of 7 wickets. And also, in the second match he made a sizable contribution with the match as well. In particular I was impressed with his spell of 10-0-35-0, in a match where the England batsmen made a total of 360/7 in 50 overs.

Yes your statement is good and I also think that England U19 team is much stronger than Sri Lanka U19 team because this youth ODI series was ended three ago and England U19 team won 2 games out of 3 and Sri Lanka U19 team only won one game. Next in between these team England U19 and Sri Lanka U 19 team will be held and I also believe that England U19 team also win this test game. England U19 set very big target of total 268 runs in 50 overs by losing 9 wickets. Sri Lanka U19 team only chased down 260 runs and lost game by 4 runs due to DLS Method. H.moore and F.MsCann both bowlers took down total 4 wickets and each bowlers took 2 wickets. L.Benkenstein made a brilliant effort in game in bat lineup by scoring 102 runs in 99 balls and he hitted seven 4s and five 6s. This win was not easy for England U19 team. I think both team doesn't have much difference in their effort both gave very tough time in games and Sri Lanka was failed to chase and perform poor in bowling.

I personally think it is actually hard to predict how the under 19 players are actually going to perform. Sometimes they can be very inconsistent. That’s why when it comes to predict of any youth team, or even the under 19, it can very easily be wrong whatever the odds.

We appreciate the players of Sri Lanka . We look legendary player from Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka won the T20 World Cup and I am big fan of Kumar Sangkara and he was legend and he broke many records and Dilshan was also excellent player and we saw big names from very small country when country situation was good but now Sri Lankan country is economically depress and government is not supporting the good players and they are not interested to play for country and besides they play leagues and they earn from leagues and from that leagues they get money ,and fame and after they engage in commercials and they get benefit from that. But England team is totally different from Sri Lankan team and Economy of England is stronger and government is supporting the players.

Luc Benkenstein scored a century in this match. He is the son of former South African allrounder Dale Benkenstein, and has already played first-class cricket for Essex. He is an allrounder, who bowls leg break. Sri Lanka has a lot of positives to take away from this match as well. Vihas Thewmika once again excelled with the ball, while Dinura Kalupahana also managed to pick up some crucial wickets. Nearly two decades back we were having strong systems in many countries which were doing good work for the development of their game and having teams with U-19, U-23 and A team were having regularly tours of the different countries for the experience and development of their game but as we have changes like T20i and now franchise leagues things are taking changes, and we are having no good number of tours for these youngsters which are important because tours like these are working good for them and game as well.

Few boards are not able to handle these things which are surely problem because they are having limited sources, but we need some good support from the ICC for this as we are having things like these in FIFA which is doing good work for the development of the game.

Yes you are right that is the good decision because they are giving chances to new talents. If they are giving rest to big players and giving the chance to new players so BCCI want to select more valuable players for the team because they are good in cricket. I have seen in both Women Cricket and Men Cricket. BCCI is playing a big role in cricket. And both teams are strong. While we can see how Indian Men team won the T20 World Cup and in Women Cricket how Indian team is playing with South Africa Women team. So in both cases they are strong. So if they are giving chance to new talents so this is really good decision.

BCCI took great step to give rest to big players of team amf they gave chance to  youngesters because BCCI can't test youngesters against big team like Australia and England but they can check the capability and stamina of players against small teams like Zimbabwe and Namibia. But Zimbabwe team played well in first T20 and Sikander Raza was a match changer in this match but Indian team did come back and and performed well in second match and won the match by high margin. Two slots are available in Indian Cricket team and two new Youngesters will fill that space and we will see that Indian team will be strong in future because whole country love cricket.

Yes you are right that is the good decision because they are giving chances to new talents. If they are giving rest to big players and giving the chance to new players so BCCI want to select more valuable players for the team because they are good in cricket. I have seen in both Women Cricket and Men Cricket. BCCI is playing a big role in cricket. And both teams are strong. While we can see how Indian Men team won the T20 World Cup and in Women Cricket how Indian team is playing with South Africa Women team. So in both cases they are strong. So if they are giving chance to new talents so this is really good decision.

One thing India has is a good supply of young cricketers. And another thing that India does really well is, it doesn’t matter how they spend money or how they waste money and how much nepotism and favoritism they have, they are still bringing in interesting players. And those players are actually world-class. Sometimes they don't even have to make those players world-class. Those players are basically ready to play at the top level of competition from the start.

Giving good chances to the new talent are always going to be the best decision that any team's authority can make. Because if you do that, instead of waiting for the day when the players who are already playing will perform well, you would actually get players who can perform well regularly. Basically you will not have to wait for the day when one player is going to perform well after giving chances consistently. And you will even have good replacements ready just like the Indian team has.
