Losing to Sri Lanka is simply not acceptable. Had they lost to teams such as Australia or England, or for that matter South Africa or New Zealand, we could have still found some excuse. But how can anyone justify the Indian team losing to Sri Lanka? And this was a full strength squad, which comprised of legends such as Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma. BTW, feels good for Parag. He was the only player who showed consistency in this tour. This guy deserves a lot of praise.

The result was different and in both last matches Sri team did first batting and gave 200+ target and Sri Lankan team defend the score very well. In second last match Indian team was very close to win and score was level but Arshdeep did mistake to hit a hot . But in last match Sri Lankan team won the match by 32 runs ahmbd Indian all team out by making 208 runs.Indian team should work on their middle order and low middle order because that is weaknesses of them . Indian team should take batting first and hit good score on board and If Indian cricket team will give good target in today match then we will see different result. Now ,I supporting Indian team because they are hard working and they deserve win in  match.

The Indian team was facing problems in the batting side but they had all the main players in batting as they had big batsman names including  Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill. This is top order while when we concentrate on the middle order then there is Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and after these six batsmen, I don’t think they should be in need of any other batsmen.

Yes, they were missing to Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar but everybody knows how poor the performance Surya has in the ODI matches but he is amazing in T20. Hardik Pandya is good player but without him, the Indian team have to play well.

I don't know why they are not performing well. They are all experienced batsmen mean Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. I think they have no bound with the new players. Or the reason is different. Or we can say that the Srilankan bowlers are good. Because Srilankan bowlers bowled reall well the match. I think that is the reason. You are missing some batsmen I was missing Bumrah he is a good bowler and I think if he would be in the match Srilanka couldn't cross 200 runs. Well thing is that Srilanka has won the series which is really surprising thing.

Considering that India is a strong team and Sri Lanka beat India in ODI format we can praise Sri Lanka but only based on one series result but it cannot be said that Sri Lanka is a very strong team. I have always considered Sri Lanka as an average performing team. Remember sri lanka beat india at their home ground there are many series where india beat bangladesh australia beat bangladesh so Bangladesh is not a stronger team than india or australia. Sri Lanka took the home advantage, the wicket was built in such a way that the Lankan bowlers got an added advantage and it did.  Indian batsmen are used to batting on the wickets they did not get in Sri Lanka due to which they could not bat well. I will consider Sri Lanka as a strong team when Sri Lanka defeats India on Indian soil and secures the series by defeating them.

I think Shivam Dube is only able to play test matches or leagues.

I could be wrong but seeing Dube play feels like he only knows to hit big shots; whenever he plays defensive shots, or shots for singles, it feels like he's forcing himself to do so. Playing to his nature might be good idea for for both team and himself.

I don't think that Dube has a lot of experience with ODI format. He has focused in T20 format since the last few years (especially the IPL, but also in Mumbai Premier League for Rizvi Mumbai), and he also participates in the Indian domestic cricket which is dominated by 4-day matches. He plays for Mumbai, along with a lot of other talented players. A lot of people struggle in the 50-over format, because they need to be very careful about the scoring rate. Can't be over-aggressive, and can't be over-defensive.

The batsmen of the Indian team batted very comfortably in the T20 series against Sri Lanka due to which they were able to win the series. But I don't know if you all have noticed one thing, the biggest failure of the Indian team in the ODI series is not being able to deal well with the Sri Lankan spin bowlers. Sri Lankan spin bowlers put India's batsmen under the most pressure. Sri Lankan leg spin bowler Jeffrey Vandersay was in terrible form against India in the second ODI. Similarly, in the third ODI match, another spinner Dunith Wellalage took a terrible form against the batsmen of the Indian team.

If one finds another reason for India's ODI series defeat against Sri Lanka then I would say that they did not play the Sri Lankan spin bowlers well. This may be the only reason why they have whitewashed the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

I don't understand what's problem with being aggressive? It only makes things easier for batter on other side and for the upcoming ones, better than losing wicket doing nothing.

I would not suggest this to someone like Rahul, he can't time the ball well unless settled but you are not this, play to your forte.

Well Scotland women team were looking a tough decent side as they had done really good in thier previous matches but I think it's not thier day because just D. Carter scored huge and some few other names rather than her none of them scored even a double figure scored and that the main reason of thier low target even below 200 in 50 overs match. While compared to thier opponent they had team work several of thier player add thier minor minor contribution which collectively become huge and thus they sort out the required target in just 40th over but the difference is they just lost thier 8 wicket which mean still they have 2 wicket in hand so if by chance thier opponent score 200 or around it then still they chased it down as still they have 10 overs left. Hope Scotland will work on thier weakness in order to more stable and strong side.

But the performance in this game was definitely different and the competition was the most. When the Sri Lankan team lost three matches in a row in T20I matches, it is natural that their attitude changes. Because the Sri Lankans were always keen to maintain their reputation on home soil as well which they managed to defend in ODI matches. You will surely notice that T20 and ODI matches are two different types of games, there is difference between home and foreign ground but Sri Lanka and India matches are completely different. Although Sri Lanka lost to the Indian team in the beginning but towards the last in the ODI match their play and patience showed that they defeated the Indian team, it was their aggressive performance.

Yes, he does not play ODI matches in good numbers as well but in the T20 his performance is also bad. As i said before Shivam Dube is a good option in leagues and domestically, he could only play those matches or formats, he is not able to be a part of the Indian International team.



He can play for India A and for India B but not for the original team and if he could still play then it is such a bad decision from the Indian team community. I think until the next IPL match the Board of Control for Cricket in India has to give rest to Shivam Dube, then if he is going to perform in that IPL season then they can test him once again.

You are right Scotland women Batsmen poor batting performance in this ODI match against Netherlands women. Netherlands bowling performance is outstanding especially Iris Zwilling picked 4 important wickets by just giving only 31 runs in his bowling spell, Silver Siegers also bowled well and picked 2 crucial wickets by giving only 32 runs which helped his team To bowled out Scotland women under 200 runs. Netherlands Women batting performance is not too good they win match by lossing 7 wicket but at last one important partnership between Caroline de Lange and Eva Lynch saved the match.

Papua New Guinea Women vs Netherlands

Both teams played well. Netherlands Women team win the match but Papua New Guinea Women team gave a very tough time to Netherlands team.
PNG Women team played first turn and they made 190 runs in 48.5 overs. Tanya Ruma made 79 runs. And  Annemijn van Beuge bowled well from Netherlands who collected 5 wickets.
Netherlands Women team won this match by 1 wicket remaining which is showing that the match was tough and also interesting. From Netherlands team Phebe Molkenboer was good who made 75 runs. Congratulations to the Netherlands Women team.

That wicket ball wasn't extraordinary but considering the pitch and Klassen's form in that particular match. Off line wide slow delivery was a nice tactic and Pandya deserves credit. Ofc no one can deny Bumrah's role in it, that's what he does in the majority of matches, build pressure from one side and allow other bowlers to take wickets from the other end.

Also, we shouldn't forget that 2-3 minute break (Due to Pant). It broke the Protea rhythm or call it a lapse in concentration, just after that Klassen fell.
