Yesterday game was played between NK team and REDS team. In start of this game, REDS team won the toss and got a chance to take first bat or bowl and REDS team elected field first. NK team in batting line was very poor and their opener batsman also not batted well and NK team set total 174 runs in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Calitz batsman made a brilliant effort and made 96 runs in 87 balls with hitting ten 4s and three 6s. But other Batsman showed very poor effort and their struggle lost this game. McCarthy got a player of game title because he took down 5 wickets in 9.4 overs with 31 runs. REDS team chased down all runs and lost only 7 wickets and won the game in 42.1 overs. Mark chased 59 runs and Frost Batsman gave their good effort in game from REDS team side and chased down 55 runs. Congratulations REDS team doe winning this game.

Next month, there are two tri-series planned for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. The first one will take place at Namibia, and apart from the hosts United Arab Emirates and United Arab Emirates will be taking part. In the second one, hosts Canada will take on Oman and Nepal. In both cases, the participating teams are not among the table toppers. So it gives an opportunity for teams like Namibia and Canada to win a few matches and go past Scotland and Netherlands in the points table.

Too early to predict anything related to the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. Each of the teams are going to play a total of 36 matches each, and till now none of the teams have played more than 8. At this point, Netherlands and Scotland looks like the strongest teams, followed by perhaps Namibia. But this competition will go on until December 2026 and it will be illogical to make any predictions right now. My only question is that what does Netherlands or Scotland gain, if they finish at the top? There is simply no promotion-relegation system available.

Scotland team is best team and try are performing well. They are learning from their mistakes and their capabilities are increasing. They will do well in future because now their body language is perfect and they won the last match against Namibia  team. They won the match one sided and they proved that they are winners.They gave 302 runs as a target and they applied pressure on opponent team and we observe result of this match. NK batsmen had hit the target very badly and the speed and efficiency of their batsmen can be judged by their target.  But luck and their bowler did not favor them and due to no wickets and no pressure, there was no pressure on the opponent and they would be able to achieve the target comfortably.  NK bowlers were also not successful in the match because their batsmen did not make the target strong.  And the REDS batsmen completed the target in 42 overs. The NK batsmen had 50 overs but if they did not play with each other, the whole team got out and could not make the target difficult.  Their batsmen should play the match at their own pace and complement each other and try to give difficult targets.  If they do not succeed in this, they will fail every time.  Congratulations to the REDS for their win and may they continue to play like this and win matches.

The 2nd unofficial ODI between Pakistan A vs Bangladesh A will be played tomorrow at Islamabad. It was the batting of the Bangladesh team that led them down. Except Saif Hassan and Rishad Hossain, no one batted well. Bangladesh A team have to focus on their batting.

The Pakistan A team batting wasn't tested in the first ODI. Haseebullah Khan and Usman Khan made 73 and 87 runs and win the match themselves. If somehow Bangladesh can get these two batsmen quickly out tomorrow, things can get interesting indeed.

And I am worried about the official ODI matches because currently the weather of the south Asian Region is not favor for these kinds of events. I saw the test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan and saw an outstanding performance by the Bangladeshi players. I think the Odi series is going to bring more exciting games if the weather is in our favour.

^^^ Pakistan A destroyed Bangladesh A in the first match of the series. They were unlucky that the second match got washed out. Abbas Afridi and Mehran Mumtaz were the main destroyers for Pakistan in the first match. In case of Abbas, he has been in and out of the national T20I team, but never managed to cement a regular place. At 23 years old, he is definitely one of the young prospects to consider for national team selection. Usman Khan and Haseebullah Khan were the ones who scored runs. The same as Abbas. They have played a few T20Is for the national team, but then forgotten.
