For tonight's games also they took down the betting odds between ROS vs Phoenix and Ginebra vs Blackwater, hope they will put it back soon before the game starts.

There are already some odds displayed, but I would not use the casinos listed at the top since some of them have a bad reputation on the forum. We can just use the numbers as a reference to get an idea of what the odds might look like once our own bookies open the lines.

For ROS vs Phoenix, I think this is a really interesting game because the odds make it look almost like a 50-50 matchup. I would still take ROS here because I think they have the better coach.

For Ginebra vs Blackwater, I think the spread would be the better bet instead of taking Ginebra on the moneyline. The moneyline odds are already too low, so I would rather wait and see what spread the bookies will offer.

Its strange because I dont see any scheduled game between the teams you mentioned. I checked the PBA schedule and there are no games listed for August 9. The next schedule I can see is on August 11.

PBA postpones August 9 games due to inclement weather

There is flooding in many areas, and people would have a hard time going out just to watch the games. So I think postponing them was the right decision. Once the flooding starts to subside, then they can reschedule and continue the games. Hopefully the water will go down soon because many of our kababayans are affected.

Haven't read of any postponement except now, thanks for the update kabayan. What i just saw on social media is that there are floodings on some areas in Metro Manila and yeah the postponement is just the right move to protect people who might watch the game and when they will go out will be trap because of the flood.

Stay safe for those who are near the affected areas, hope it won't rain anymore.

I'm betting for the 1st game, i'm rooting for Terrafirma to make this game as close as possible. Last time these two teams met, it was very close and the score is 105-103, almost a win for Terrafirma if the last attempt for beyond the arc went in. Also Terrafirma won their last game against NLEX so the momentum should be there this evening.

The second game is still ongoing, but NLEX already has a decent lead, around 14 points against TNT. Still too early though, we know what TNT can do and they can always make a comeback. But this time I think NLEX will bounce back from their previous loss.

You are not wrong, that double digit lead by NLEX is now down to just 4 points.

Looks like NLEX are gonna choke now. With less than 2 minutes left, TNT already took a 3-point lead.

This is where an experienced team like TNT takes advantage. No matter how good NLEX's import is, TNT's locals are just really good, especially with that defense. Lets finish watching the game guys. NLEX only scored 12 points so far in this quarter, that TNT defense though.

NLEX won the game 118-111. That injury that DeQuan got, watching the replay of it wasn't clear to me at first, because he had been hit with a lowkey push as well by Rosser intentionally. Eventually, when DeQuan was on a stretcher giving a thumbs up, looks like there's a remorse of what Rosser did to him. Although on the take off, it's also seen that DeQuan has hit him on the neck and the rest was history on that down fall. Man, it's so painful to watch that fall of DeQuan. Hopefully, he recovers on that injury seems like a crack or dislocation.

Calvin Abueva also played good basketball last night as he scored 17 points, the second local leading scorer behind Justin Arana's 20 point output. I think their new import Cameron Clark was the main reason why they stopped the losing skid. I thought that Terrafirma would mount a comeback in the second half as they managed to trimmed the lead to just 12 points at the end of the 3rd quarter but sadly Terrafirma fell short as Converge has always an answer to every basket the DYIP made.

First game is a no doubt for the SMB, what will matter here is the amount of + points for the Titan. until now the betting is close and theres no odd display.
Second game is a tough match, Magnolia might be ahead of Phoenix as they are on their winning steak now but lets not forget that Phoenix fuelmasters is the leading team in gourp B together with  Rain or shine.
I will go with the Magnolia hotshots but the odds is a bit high with +5 to +6 for the Fuelmaster.

For the first game between SMB and Titan Ultra, we won't see any odds on that game as bookies have stayed away from giving odds involving Titan Ultra and Macau, the reason is obvious, very wide margin in defeats of these two teams it is like giving free money for those who bet on the opponents of Titan Ultra and Macau.

Like you said, Magnolia is on a winning streak so it is not good to bet against them so i'll go with them. I admit that this is a risky bet since Phoenix is not a pushover team as well and they are getting stronger when they acquire Gian Mamuyac from ROS.

Unfortunate, especially now that NLEX was playing really well and then their import got injured.

Based on what you said, there is a chance he might not be able to return as their import anymore, so NLEX may need to look for a replacement. Hopefully they can get someone really good because it would be a waste of the good record they already built. I think they are still the top of the standings, so getting the right import is very important. I did not see the injury myself, but hopefully it is not as serious as it sounds.

This game is close although what happen with the import is sad, surely everyone don't want to see this happen to other players and certainly it was just an accident, speedy recovery for the NLEX import they needed to look for import to continue their run in this season, for the TNT the they should have chose another import instead of the resident import brother they could have find better replacement but i guess they are sticking to him so that his brother will stay to play for the tnt, so good luck to their run.

With an update from One Sports, it's said that DeQuan underwent successful surgery. He's got a fracture and that's good to know that he's already fine. I'm not sure how long it will take for him to recover but happy to know that the surgery went well.

Yeah, it was an accident. Rosser has also released a statement that he doesn't want to be called as a dirty player and everything was an accident.

Phoenix was down big after the first half, but now they are only trailing by 2 points.

This 3rd quarter really belongs to Phoenix, and after this we might get a very interesting 4th quarter. Its even possible Phoenix could take the lead before the quarter ends.

BJ Johnson was hot in the 3rd quarter for the Fuel Masters but went cold in the 4th. Phoenix managed to score only 2 points in 7 minutes in the final quarter while on the side of the Hotshots, Lastimosa and Barroca together with their import caught fire and gave the Hotshots a 12-point lead and never look back.

No fixing this time bro, as the spread for Magnolia was well covered .

Oh by the way, Raffy Reavis has not retired as he was playing for Phoenix, he should have given that spot to the younger players who are more agile and athletic than him.

Ginebra with Brownless is really great for the PBA, I think in terms of import GINKINGS has the biggest advantage.

I would be more careful with this kind of line honestly, because sometimes it can be a trap.
I think a lot of people will be taking Converge here, but I would not be surprised if NLEX still wins even without an import.

Ginebra with Brownless is really great for the PBA, I think in terms of import GINKINGS has the biggest advantage.

First game after an injury, I think its not worth backing them right away. I would rather go with Meralco here, even just on the moneyline.
