Lol, didn't even know that today is season opener of PBA. Miss to watch the first game but looking at what you have said that those farm teams are playing, well still good and I'm curious to watch Nlex and Macau in Youtube.

But for now I will not going to place any bet, since I don't feel doing that on early phase of this tournament.

Its good to see new visitor playing and this will test how good the teams in PBA.

And this is the same Macau team that had a very bad conference last time, so I do not expect them to be good this conference.

A bad team will likely remain a bad team, unless they show big improvement. Maybe they were invited as a guest team because it is almost guaranteed that they will not reach the finals, or maybe not even the playoffs.

For me, the line makes sense at -5.5. I would take NLEX all day on that spread.

Good game so far for NLEX. They are already leading by 18 points in the 3rd quarter, and this shows how dominant they are right now.

Hopefully, they will be able to keep this big lead because before, there were games where they were already up, but they still allowed their opponent to catch up.

Now with the new coach and probably a new system, I expect them to be more mature in taking care of their lead. They should avoid bad decisions, slow down the game when needed, and still continue playing good defense.

Yes, that is because The Mouse is already their new coach, and so far, they are doing well. I did not watch the game, but judging by the score, it pretty much tells us that NLEX is now a different team. And also, we will see if it is not only the players where we are outmatched against those from the US. We will also see how a coach with US experience will compete against the great coaches here in the Philippines.

That was too easy. Great start for the first game of the conference, and NLEX bettors won as well.

From now on, Macau is already a marked team for me. Every time they play, I will think of betting against them, even if they face teams that are known to be weak, like DYIP and Blackwater.

Meanwhile, John Amores who was involved in a shooting incident on the year 2024 if i'm not mistaken has already secured his professional licences back from GAB, meaning he could now play in the pro-league and the good news for him is that Titan Ultra has signed him to a one conference contract. This is head-shaking for me, is there not another player that Titan Ultra could get aside from John Amores or it is just a gesture of good will for the company that everybody deserves a second chance. Your thoughts?   

This is going to be his last chance in the PBA if he's not going to change for the better. He's fortunate that he's still given by the Titan Ultra a 1 year contract and after that, it will be a decision if he's going to be pursued or not. I guess that he should just give his all into it and come what may after this contract, maybe some overseas offer will come to him to play for either BLeague or in South Korea. I just hope that his head is not going to be in heat again if ever some contraction and issues comes in front of him.

Same here, i will go against them on their next game. Yesterday i thought that they would give NLEX a good fight but it seems that they give up early on that game that is why there were blown up.

For today, i will back Magnolia. Just following their trend that they are winning early in the elimination but started losing games when it matters most .

But I still trust Magnolia because they are a clutch team. They are usually good in the last quarter, so even if they go down by double digits, there is nothing to worry about. The 4th quarter is for the Hotshots.

Same with Terrafirma, they beat the Hotshots, but I still think they are just good at the beginning.

They are called farm teams for a reason. Maybe they need to win early so it will not be too obvious, but in the end, I will not be surprised if they eventually miss the playoffs again. That has been the trend for years, so do not be surprised if we witness the same thing this conference. For me, the PBA still looks like it is controlled mostly by the big groups, especially those connected to the Cojuangco and Pangilinan teams.

The Hotshots were leading by 16 points in the second quarter, i thought that was money in the bag already for me so i stopped watching the game but when i saw the result, i'm a bit frustrated by the outcome. Magnolia is introvoys indeed. The games last night were won by the underdogs so today i'm going with Terrafirma who is the underdog against NLEX but i think they are a live underdog since they won their first game. Hope Terrafirma could make this a close game even if they lose this game tonight.

That is because the teams playing now had more time to rest than teams like SMB, Ginebra, TNT, and the others that started playing in the quarterfinals.

I said here after the Commissioners Cup that the Governor's Cup will start at the 10th of July, but I completely forgot it because... who the hell remember those if it's the PBA? NONE and there's no "kidding aside" this time because that's the truth. Majority didn't even know that the new conference has started already.

Anyway, the Road Warriors just demolished the visitor team on their game, and TBH the Black Bears are just a bad team and they're even worse than the worst teams that we have in the PBA right now. Also, they just won again against the TerraFirma in a close one 101-100, and they almost choked out because they had a huge lead coming to the 4th quarter. This isn't a good sign if your Coach Jimmy Alapag, and there must be some improvements to be done.

As for betting, I don't think that putting a bet on the elimination games here is a problem. I mean just don't bet on ML.

Almost a huge comeback from Terrafima though I did not watch the game as I don't have an interest knowing that the real game will be during playoffs, there are farm teams who really good in this early stage but choked their way when playoffs comes, just like what happened last season both TNT and Gin kings are not performing that well, I mean they are not on the top but they manage to beat each opponents that they've met during playoffs up to finals.
