Almost a huge comeback from Terrafima though I did not watch the game as I don't have an interest knowing that the real game will be during playoffs, there are farm teams who really good in this early stage but choked their way when playoffs comes, just like what happened last season both TNT and Gin kings are not performing that well, I mean they are not on the top but they manage to beat each opponents that they've met during playoffs up to finals.

Yes, TNT really had a bad record, but they were still the team that beat NLEX despite having a twice-to-beat disadvantage. That shows how dangerous they can be when the playoffs begin. For now, we are starting to see which teams are really built to advance. Some of the so-called farm teams are exciting to watch early in the conference, but they often struggle once the playoffs get closer.

Maybe it is because the pressure becomes higher and the stronger teams start playing more seriously. Either way, it is hard to expect too much from them based on what we usually see.

But we can still take advantage of that trend. If we expect them to keep struggling, we can bet against them early because the handicap is usually still high, which may give us a better chance. At the same time, they are probably not going to stay winless for the whole conference. There may be games where everyone expects them to lose, but they could still pull off an upset. That is where a small moneyline bet might be worth considering.

Yeah right kabayan, that term that strong team start playing seriously during the playoffs or when it's nearing playoffs, they start pushing their ways so even how hard those farm teams try once the heavy favorite starts to push forward it will too difficult to beat them, and most likely we will see both MVP and SMC team facing each other for another title match.

2nd game: SMB vs Macau

Unfortunately these games are not yet covered by my favorite bookies, odds should have been out by now as we only have less than 10 hours before the games begin. Don't know the exact reason but i think the bookies are having a difficult time analyzing how much would the spread would be because Titan Ultra might be playing without an import tonight so it will be a gimme for the fans of NLEX if that happens. On their last game, Titan Ultra were blown out by 31 big points by Converge with the import of Converge only playing 24 minutes.

Don't know the exact reason but i think the bookies are having a difficult time analyzing how much would the spread would be because Titan Ultra might be playing without an import tonight so it will be a gimme for the fans of NLEX if that happens. TBH, nothing surprising at all especially on the first game where Titan Ultra just had their 3rd consecutive losing streak, and they're the worst team right now in the league at least for me. I mean their product is to make somebody hard (if you know what I mean ), but they aren't that hard when it comes to defense hence they're just allowing their opponent to score more than 100 points. They're disappointing.

As for the 2nd game, what got me is the 25 rebounds of Brondial, and he made it while Fajardo is out. I mean I've seen him fighting on the paint and getting those rebounds, and that's what makes him stay on the team. He's active when it comes to getting rebounds, and he's a double-double machine.

This conference wherein the import is 6'6 below, Rodney Brondial will expect some quality playing time in the court because of his hassle on the court, we can compare him to Dennis Rodman whose rebounds is more than the points made.

Easy win. You even came close to hitting the moneyline since Converge only won by two points.

I did not watch the game, but I just checked the scoreboard. Terrafirma had a big run in the fourth quarter, which was enough to make sure they covered the spread even though they still lost.

That was a strong bet. If I had placed one, I probably would have been too ambitious and taken the moneyline. Good thing I did not bet, LOL.

Good for you. At least you managed to minimize those unnecessary losses.

Also, check out NLEX. Under Coach Jimmy, they are still undefeated and currently number one in the standings with a 3–0 record.

What do you think about their strong start? Does this mean NLEX already had the talent before but simply needed a better system and coaching style? Now that a coach with NBA experience has taken over, maybe the players are finally showing their real potential.

That is a legitimate strong start, but it is still not very different from the last conference because they also finished as the number one team then.

Maybe if they finish the elimination round undefeated, we can really say that Alapag has made a big difference. Still, the real challenge will come in the playoffs. Finishing with a high ranking will give them the twice-to-beat advantage, and hopefully they will not waste it this time. It was painful to see them work so hard during the regular games, finish at the top, and then fail to take advantage of their position in the playoffs.

If we look at the final score, seems an easy win indeed but in reality that was not the case as Terrafirma was playing catchup basketball and luckily for them and for my bet, Converge failed to score a single basket on the last 3:30 minutes of the game where they were up by 10 points. On the last position of Converge, it was a turn-over that resulted to Maverick Ahamnisi's 4-point attempt, if that went in, that could be an upset victory by Terrafirma .

Seldom i bet on the moneyline if the spread is too high because per experience the winning rate of that one is very slim so i'm just taking the more safe approach in betting when it comes to this kind of scenario, that is to bet with the handicap and so far it is working fine with me.

As we already witness how the league change when playoffs is nearing, though it's  a good sign for me seeing the team playing decent with their new mentor, it will be a big test for coach Jimmy once they move forward hopefully they'll not going to choke or hopefully MVP will give them the thumbs up to push forward, hahaha, for now, lets enjoy those games and bet when we do have a chance and hope for luck to back us up..
