We are just humans and its impossible for you to completely suppress your emotions on dealing up with gambling specially you do know deep inside that you are risking
your precious money which its impossible not to make any reactions or being bulge a bit if you do lose.

The probability of your winning a bet is the same, regardless of whether you want to earn money with it or just to have fun. So, this approach, when you just want to be entertained, doesn't affect your gambling stats in a negative way.

Of course everyone of us gamblers wants to win, but there is a difference between our goals: we, regular gamblers, aim at winning $10-$20 to spend it the same day on beer or whatever, while pro gamblers want to win much more, and they have to take much bigger risks for that.

I really don't think so, maybe other type of games but games that you can use your skills like sports betting, I think you can be profitable in the long run, achieved a win rate of 60% and you'll be profitable, just know how to manage your bankroll properly.

That is so true. I think it can't be that profitable but at the end of the day you can still be having a profit if you can manage well your funds. That is achievable on both luck based games and skill based games but more probable in skill based games. There are also gamblers that had a profit even they are playing for a long period of time in luck based games.

Good advise, I have always play in gambling shorter period of time and only get to a one time bet. Win or lose I will go home directly but it will all depend on the game. Sometimes I need to play more just to enjoy the game and not to get winnings. I love and gets motivated when I win and also feels the opposite when gets lose. However,  winning is a motivation that keeps me on betting and to enjoy the game. I have been into platform too with high house edge and I was betting their for long time just to make a win. I think that was 1 win over 10 losses betting in a roulete. After I win I go offline.

I agree why gambling cannot be a profession, because as we all know gambling requires luck to win. And the problem is that it is impossible for us
to get lucky every day, even though I know there are gambling games that do require skills. But still it doesn't make sense to make gambling
a profession, even from the many articles that I read. Most people can beat casinos in the long run through cheating. Because if we play honestly
it is very difficult to win, because the system created by the casino is to make gamblers lose a lot. Therefore, make gambling as entertainment only.

Perhaps, there will be people who play gambling because of fun, and that people can have good control over themselves, and they see that they have a chance to make money from gambling. So they decide to learn more about the game and practicing what they got while they can enjoy the process of learning. And as time goes, his analysis, skills, and everything that a pro gambler should have are in themselves, that will be the way for them to be the pro gambler.

I believe that will really happen out there, but we can't find them because people will not tell others about their occupation, how they make money, and how they can have good control over themselves. They will not share their knowledge with others if they don't believe them.
