Rayo Vallecano can't stand a chance against Barcelona in their game two days later. I'm expecting to see a certain victory for Barcelona in their home game of course. Maybe they don't have any chance for the league title realistically but they would still aim to continue to win as many games as possible in the remaining weeks of the league. Rayo Vallecano were a promising team for this season at the first times of the season. But their form has dropped a lot and here they are now. They wouldn't do much in this game.

Barcelona really didn't have a solid game against Real Sociedad. I got bored after a point while watching the game. I would have expected a more delightful game in this one but it ended by a result like 1-0 only. Barcelona had better be grateful for being able to secure a win like this. Their performance was not good enough and I hope they learned their lesson by this. Maybe the result they got in the Cadiz game pushed them to play like this but it must still be unacceptable for them. On the other hand, they are just trying to secure their position in top four too. Maybe their not competing for the title could be the reason why they played like that.

The game was a difficult one for Barcelona which I was not impressed with Barcelona performance,  for the fact that Barcelona didn't loose the match I have good rest of mind. With the performance of Real Sociedad Barcelona would not have won the game , Real Sociedad was more defensive and active than Barcelona. I'm okay with Barcelona winning the game but they need to improve  their style of performance.

Barcelona were not really impressive and it's safe to say aubameyang was lucky to get that goal in for them and believe me it would have been quite disastrous of Real sociedad had equalized because they were mounting so much pressure on
 Xavi's men and at some point it looked like they had lost to the will to fight.
In times past, they have met four times and real managed to draw and it seems they are not really a match for Barca but I guess with recent behavior of Barca, they felt they could have a chance at them. Kudos to them tho.

I think that if the odds offered by the bookmakers are interesting, then it makes sense to bet on Rayo Vallecano.

It's actually still a miracle that they are probably going to be 2nd. They were in bad shape just before the half of the competition in the winter. I thought they were around 10th for a while, and the gap on Sevilla was already huge at the time. It seems like they are having a bad season, but if you ignore the first half of the competition, they might just be at the top based on the 2nd half of the competition. I know that doesn't count, of course. In any case, Xavi has managed to get football into it, so there is plenty of potential for the new season. This Barcelona should be able to become champions. Sevilla has fallen far back, by the way.

It's a good opportunity for Xavi because Sevilla has a lazy game. While securing a position for Barcelona is quite easy. It could be an easy win for Barcelona considering that Rayo is playing really badly right now but even so Barcelona is also struggling to score goals there and I still feel that this match will only end for a narrow win for Barcelona again and most likely it just won't be more from 2 goals there

You're right, Barcelona just lucky to score in the 11th minute after that there is no good opportunity Real Sociedad takes over the game
From what I saw Real Sociedad almost scored at least 3 times unfortunately the accuracy of the attack is not so perfect
My conclusion even though Barcelona wins but does not show that they return to the best performance.

barcelona game was not very good last night, last night's victory was also a big sacrifice for barcelona because several players suffered injuries in the match against real sociedad, Ronald Araujo, Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique and Dani Alves, Well this situation will certainly be detrimental Barcelona in a match that  will come because it could be the injury experienced by some players cannot heal in a short time.

Barcelona won this game through the grace of God, even though they did not play well. Auba is delivering the goods for Barca right now, and I don't think it's necessary to add a striker. It's his prime duty to score goals, so I'm glad he's doing it. Aubameyang is a gifted player, and he will do great things next season. However, statistics can be deceptive.

Decent match but Barcelona need to find some strong midfield presence. Busquets was good but midfield need to find some openings and initiate some attacking drives more is what I feel. In Pedri's absence they need to find someone capable of doing so. Also Araujo and Alves were injured so this will also effect Barca in next fixture.

Espanyol0-1 Rayo Vallecano

After a long time, Rayo Vallecano has been able to achieve full points in a match. They have not won the last 12 matches. They beat Espanyol 1-0. Espanyol's performance was very poor. They played defensively for the full 90 minutes. Rayo Vallecano was just 4 points ahead of Granada, who is in the relegation zone. So they needed the full points of this match. They are far away from the relegation zone now. And maybe next season we will see Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.

Congratulation to Rayo vallecano fans for the massive victory they got from Espanyol. Espanyol players tried to make the match draw but rayon vallecano  coach made some changes that make them to maintain the victory till the end of the match.

Barcelona deservedly welcomed the victory over Real Sociedad with joy because their sacrifices and efforts managed to get 3 points even though in that match several players were injured. Barcelona upcoming match against Rayo at some point in its own may be a great match because some Barcelona players are injured and we will see second layer players who will decorate the Barcelona starting.

in some news it is stated that at least 5 players were injured after this match and indeed it is doubtful to appear later.
Apart from the 3 players you mentioned, there are the names of Jordi Alba and Gavi who also have problems with their feet although they are not too serious like Araujo, Pique and Alves, but I think it is still quite worrying if Gavi and Jordi Alba are absent later.

Atalanta lose their home game to Verona. Maybe the home team wasn't fully prepared for the game, they are just few points above Verona. Atalanta are looking to qualify for the Europa cup since the league is coming to an end. They need to stand their ground if they want to qualify for europa. They may even miss it, perhaps if they continue to win games, they may play in the Europa conference games in other to qualify. Atalanta form this season is worst, in their last 6 games across all competitions, they have only 1 win, 1 draw and 4 loss. Which is a bad results for them. They need to get back to Winning ways in other to end at the better side of the table.

Atalanta plays as though they would rather settle for 8th than play Conference league next season. Atalanta has suffer their third consecutive loss in Italian Serie A. Verona were amazing as they trumped Atalanta by two goals to one. It wasn't much expected but they were incredible.

In the last few games, we can see how Barca has decreased in performance. yes, indeed they look like they are not at their best. very different when Barca still has not reached the top 4 standings. they have great motivation to bounce back even though there is no longer a chance to overtake Madrid.
Barca must be more consistent to get safe points. because the position in the standings can still change in the rest of the match which I think is quite tight.

Of course Barcelona will be faced with serious problems when there are many injured players. Alba, Pique and Araujo are very important players in Xavi's squad but you should know that there are several substitutes that deserve to be Xavi's choice in the next match such as Lenglet, Dest, Eric Garcia and Mingueza in defense.

But since Rayo Vallecano is Barcelona's next opponent then I don't think the final result will hurt Barcelona too much considering that the substitutes have also played well so far.
