Hazard is the only reason for my recent interest in the league and it's just to watch him perform. I'll be routing for Real Madrid so I wish all their fans the best although it'll be a tough battle like I said earlier, Barcelona have invested so much to not win the league. Wish Real Madrid the best though for Hazard. #HalaMadrid

Especially beginning from 2009. Ronaldinho had Just left Barcelona and Messi was now the fan favourite. Real Madrid was just getting a new start after a galactico star-studded Era had come to an end. As a long term Real Madrid fan, i must say i was lucky to witness all the history making during that period and i don't know whether i will see anything of that sort again. @logfiles I started watching Real Madrid games because of Ronaldo, and he indeed took La Liga by storm from 2009 - 2018. I’m not expecting Hazard to fire this season as he’s gained lots of extra weight, plus his recent injuries will effect his performances. Atletico Madrid are the real contenders for the title, Real Madrid may finish second or third as I don’t believe they can win the league with their current squad. Welcome to the Club It's sad thou that you missed that glorious period of rivalry in terms of unbelievable stats, record breakings, Spectacularly consistent non-stop performances from season to season between Messi and Ronaldo. Didn't miss the glorious period per se, ok well I did in regards to watching the matches but I was always keeping myself upto date with the stats and never did missed Monday Night football via Supersport were I got the summary of all the matches played during the weekend. No doubt those two are the greatest of all time. I still keep myself updated with C. Ronaldo's stat irrespective of the league he's playing in although i might not watch all the matches due to lack of free time. Thanks for welcoming me, there's the myth Ronaldo made La Liga what it's today in regards to the TV rating. A big part of me agree to this, no disrespect to Messi though. |

They have done it before on a budget limited squad under Simeone, why not now after spending?
Hopefully, Simeone will be able to handle the high expectations around the team, otherwise, the players might feel like they can win a game before even playing it, and that usually not goes the way you want it to go (as a Real Madrid fan, i know this lol). Atletico Madrid or Diego Simeone will never get cocky ahead, from my perspective the team treats every match with the same preparation, except there's something bigger to play for. |

After one week International break we are going to see la liga between Mallorca and Ath. Bilbao. Bilbao has good opportunity to collect three more points since their record against Mallorca is very good.
However, I am looking forward to see the match between Barcelona and Valencia. Not sure if Messi is going to play, if he is not playing then we may see another draw match for Barcelona or the worse is another lose.

It's unlikely they'd risk him for the full ninety minutes, he would likely come on as a sub. But fixtures such as these are bound to be very tough regardless of who is on the pitch. Barcelona would be looking to bounce back from their shaky start to the season. And Valencia would want to start the new era with a memorable victory |

I expect Barca to win with a slight margin or a draw. They don't play that good tbh, and if there's no tactical change then they might have a difficult time to get another win. It's more enjoyable to watch Atm Madrid and Bilbao than Barca and Real imo. |

Not just madridstas, but every football fan/lover is looking forward to seeing Hazard play for real Madrid, we're used to seeing him play in blue for Chelsea and his transfer to Madrid is one that had been eagerly anticipated at least for the final three years of his career in Chelsea though Chelsea delayed it a bit, really Hazard is going to have a big impact for Madrid this season, he is such a skillful player. As the fixtures pile up, so is the injury list as well, and it's a real test for the manger, if he can handle the depleted squad and still pick up the needed points despite lacking first teamers and obvious quality in some areas. |

If Athletic Bilbao win today, which I guess they will, they will sit on top of the league for a day at minimum. Their fans must be so crazy with joy right now.
At least it won't push my Barca down another spot either way. But by the time we play tomorrow, depending on results, we could even be in 10th place. Scary but maybe we should start in 10th to kick our behinds!

Real Madrid are in a midfield crisis right now. Modric is valuable but so is Toni Kroos. Right now it is said that Toni Kroos is the only valuable midfielder left who is 100% fit. So even with a few replacements, Real Madrid might struggle to cope in the midfield department in a few upcoming matches. |

I just checked the odds from some betting sites, and many have actually increased the odds of Barcelona winning that fixture, hence giving them a lower chance of winning the game. This offers the other players a chance to prove themselves and we get to witness an example of Barcelona after Messi. |

Casemiro is available, but he usually plays a deeper midfield role compared to Kroos. I dunno if Zidane will pair him with kroos who has been Modric's long time midfield Partner. Casemiro is usually influential because Real Madrid's defenders like Ramos, Marcelo... love to go forward... I wonder why they're allowed to do that if there's not enough backup on the defensive line. Attacking with a 2-5-3 formation like City or Liverpool is useful only if they have a CB that is quick to defend and midfielders that could help with cutting opponents' pass. You can't win if you keep conceding lots of goals after all. |
