Cannot say Real Sociedad has chance to win the the title only because they are now ranked at the third place of the table. Because the teams are very close to each other. Real Sociedad may be at 10th place of the table 2 weeks later. Now the point difference between the first place and 13rd place is only 5. The table can change significantly in the next weeks.

I won't fancy Real Sociedad chances either, I'm not convinced that they can remain consistent for the remainder of the season, Their performance have not been entirely superb as well.

For next Sunday's game I'm sure Barcelona will still be on the top, but I hope they lose so that coach Valverde is immediately fired. 

I also predict that Barcelona will lose to Celta Vigo because in La Liga Barcelona is being seen as being bad, Valverde is currently not good if it is still training Barcelona and I think Barca still need a change of coaching and strategy.

It’s a long season, it’s probably doubtful that they will be able to last the whole season in this position. When injuries & fatigue take their toll their small squad will suffer.

It’s a long season, it’s probably doubtful that they will be able to last the whole season in this position. When injuries & fatigue take their toll their small squad will suffer.

Exactly this, plus Real and Barca will only get better as the season progress. They will start combining better (Barca) and they will buy some more superstars in January window (Real). League, Cups and CL are all decided at the end (after March). It is only important to stay alive in cups and close to the top in the league before that time comes.

Sometimes the miracle can happen in a football competition. However, I think Real Madrid and Barcelona are still the favorite teams to be the winner.

This season La Liga has become very interesting as none of the teams are close to winning the title, and while Real Sociedad has not been consistent in the past I feel they’re having a pretty good season this time round. If you’ll see the table then you’ll notice the top 5 are only separated by a difference of one point and that means any of those teams can win the title if they consistently win their matches.

Real Sociedad would not be able to keep following Real and Barca.
It is just the fact that the two strong teams have done some bad results lately and the weaker teams are following them and have the same points as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

This guy gets it. Sociedad are in the top 3 because the rest of the top teams in Spain are having an awful start (Atletico, Valencia, Sevilla, etc), otherwise, they would be fighting for the Europa League spots with the likes of Bilbao or Villareal.

Anyways, Real Sociedad are playing tomorrow against the last team in the league table (Leganes), and I think i'll go with Sociedad ML in a 3-team parlay tomorrow (maybe with Sassuolo and Hoffenheim). Or maybe Leganes will give us a nice surprise?

If Real Sociedad can win this match they will go to the top of the table, they were defeated at home by Levante but they bounced back against Granada, the problem is that we are not expecting Sociedad to loose today but they might give you are surprise like the match against Levante  . So, this game ended with a draw what is big surprise IMO, knowing how terrible Leganes were playing away.
It's obvious that Sociedad aren't going to compete with Barca, Real and Atletico, but despite this result, I think that they can reach top 4 at the end of season which would give them chance to play in Champions league.
