Barcelona shared the points in the first match. Barcelona should get full points against weaker teams from the start if they want to win the title. If not, Barcelona will be far behind in the fight for the title. Barcelona needs to get full points against Real Sociedad by any means. Otherwise, Barcelona will be 4-5 points behind Real Madrid.

Geez, it is the second fixture and the end of the league is way far ahead. There isn't any urgency for Barcelona to win or nothing in this match, it is better for them to adapt with all of their current players and strategy. I am curious about today's Real Sociedad - Barcelona game. In the first game of the season, Barcelona disappointed their fans with a goalless draw with Rayo. The lack of the team's victory spoiled the debut of Robert Lewandowski. Today it may also be hard to get 3 points, because Real Sociedad can be very dangerous, especially in their stadium.

Barcelona is allways a bad match up for sociedad team they have a good record against them last season they won both games comfortably i think barcelona first game was just a fluke they played really well they just needed a goal which they couldn't score i think they will get better with each passing game since lewandowski and raphinha will get more time to play together.

They need to present some new players to the fans and they need to try at all cost to get things back in line. This season could seriously get out of control for them very early on.
Real is still well equipped for the season and they could even make another transfer until the end of August. Maybe they come up with a surprise.

Actually, the reason madrid let casemiro go was because he was old. Modric and kros may in the next season be gone. I was actually quite surprised he left, even Madrid have not been active in the transfer market much this season. Indeed, they still have time, but it seems that there are only 2 weeks left before the end of the transfer market. Casemiro has always been the top choice alongside Modric and Kros. Of course, Anceloti must immediately find his plaintiff. But to date I haven't read the news of the transfer insu for madrid. I hope they are still able to compete with his departure.

Well, if you look at the average age of Real Madrid's squad it has always been relatively high. Casemiro with his 30 years of age wasn't a statistical outlier. They definitely need to come up with a plan for the near future regarding Kroos and Modric. I still think it is possible that they will extend the contracts even for another year for both players if they don't get injured and play on a high level. Kroos is 32 years now and will turn 33 next year. I think it is quite likely that he will extend the contract slightly. I don't think he is planning to transfer to another club anymore. He doesn't seem to be the guy who is now going to LA Galaxy or whatever. On the other hand he once said that he doesn't want to play way beyond his peak and then look like a grandpa on the soccer field. Two important personalities that soon need to be replaced. If they don't extend their contracts that would literally mean that Real Madrid is about to substitute almost the whole midfield with Kroos, Modric and Casemiro. Time for a new generation it seems.

I think that plan for the future has already been set in motion as we have seen some young players coming in this summer as a replacement for Toni kroos, Luka Modric and already departed Casemiro. The future of the club in terms of players is already been projected and work is in progress, hopefully more young players will come in. Like you said, its time for a new generation and Real Madrid are already preparing themselves for that era.

Yes, I see de Jong has not shown a good contribution in the first half. also in the barcelona squad there has been no substitution of players in the first half, it is very likely that xavi will play raphinha in the second half and the barcelona game situation will be more aggressive if raphinha is entered in the second half. I hope in the second half Xavi plays more forwards, to be able to open up opportunities to score more goals, then to anticipate counter attacks from
Sociedad, Xavi can change the strategy by playing 4 defenders. I think the 4-3-3 formation is more suitable for Barcelona players than the 3-2-4-1

A mistake from Sociedad's players in the 66th minute made their focus dissipate and 2 minutes later Lewandowski scored their second goal.
The current position is 1-3 and the game still has 20 minutes to go. With their current condition if Sociedad cannot refocus then this will end in defeat for them.
