Girona and Real Madrid are 4 points ahead of Barcelona. Therefore, even if Barça wins the Girona match, they will not be leaders in the league. Real Madrid is still at the top of the table and I think they will want Girona to win against Barça more because their real rivals are seen as Barça. Girona, on the other hand, is still showing Leicester championship performance and they seem to continue without losses this year.

Girona are in a current form that is threatening to both Real Madrid and Barcelona this season, the points gap between the three teams are not that much of a significance though it's an advantage but from what I perceive Barcelona will cling a victory over Girona when they meet as the team is now reawakening from it dull performance Seeing how they played against ATM last night.

Like I have recently stated in one comment previously, Girona might not maintain the momentum and strength of form they are now by February next year what they can possibly do is to fight to hold a spot on the table to qualify them for the UCL next season. The owners of the title we all know.

I honestly do not think that they are a problem for neither Real nor Barcelona. Many do think that they are going to finish near the top, but I think both Real and Barca will pass them this season. I think even ATM may pass them too. A fourth place would be awesome for Girona, but because many people think that they may end up higher, when they do eventually finish at fourth place people will not think that's a good think, and that's a damn shame.

I think people should cherish that a team like Girona may end up being fourth, do not be upset if they drop there, be happy that they are there. If they do somehow end up being anything higher than fourth ,that would be a miracle for them, I am 5100 sure they won't finish winners, but if they end up being even more than fourth, or even fourth, that's awesome.

The match is quite difficult, but Barcelona seems more favored to win. Xav's injury should no longer be a problem because De Jong and Felix are ready to give their best performance. But Joe Filix gives the authenticity of his signing to Barcelona by making his execution during those times when the club needs it, like the Atlatico match. And one thing more, I will tell you guys that before the match Joao Felix got sick and didn't train with the squad but hid played well from the whole X11 and gaive the victory against his rival Atlatico Madrid and taking the lead with 3 point to secure 3rd place in thee La Liga competition.

Barcelona fans deserve to be happy with the result of the match against Atletico Madrid. I didn't expect Joao Felix to celebrate like that when he scored a goal, but he did what he thought was good for his morale. Barcelona as a whole played well from the first half, but Barcelona almost lost maximum points at the end of the match if Inaki Pena Sotorres didn't make a save. He made 3 important saves and that has helped Barcelona secure 3 points at home.

Joao Felix was also the best player in that high-octane match yesterday and I think he was really happy with what he did. Pedri, Gundogan and De Jong played well, but it was a shame that Barcelona wasted too many goal opportunities throughout the match.

CELTA Vigo and Cadiz are two average team and playing against each other today, I don't expect much from them but just an average performance from two average teams. CELTA Vigo has the home advantage and it's an opportunity for them to get pass the relegation as they are playing with a team that is a point above them.

With the look of things Cadiz has an upper chance of wining Celta Vigo because if you check there wining history this season Cadiz has win more games than Celta Vigo and meanwhile Celta Vigo just came back from relegation this season because of there poor performance and with there current state now there is every possibility of them going back to relegation again this season because they are almost at the button of the league table but however Cadiz seem to have escape from going to the relegation this season because they have cross the line and also if they win there today's match it will be an added advantage for them but however let's watch how the outcome will be.

Bad news has come to Real Madrid again, because they will lose one of their key players for the rest of the year and that is Dani Carvajal. It was reported that Dani Carvajal suffered an injury to his soleus muscle and is likely to be absent for up to 3 to 4 weeks. This month of December seems to be over for Dani Carvajal and he will return to strengthen Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup early next year.

Currently the only remaining RB option is Lucas Vasquez and I don't think that's a bad option for Real Madrid, at least they still have Dani Carvajal as a back-up to cover the end of this year. Well, I hope Dani Carvajal recovers quickly and right now the team really needs his role to strengthen the defense line, especially now that Real Madrid is at the top of the standings.

Injury happens to every club in Spain, we understand how it works and some clubs are already acquainted with it. Real Madrid are the best team in La Liga, Barcelona are not up to the expectations of the club this season, interms of everything including their stats and performances. Real Madrid will survive and continue to stay competitive this season as long as they have Carlo Ancelotti as headcaoch and the presence of outstanding players, everything is suited competitive for the club. Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde are the only midfielders that can improve a game for Los Blancos.

That is a realistic target for Girona with their limited experience in La Liga, feeling on top of the league and limited player resource as well. They should simply focus on each match, try to play it with their best and don't set up too ambitious goal for this season.

Winning as many matches as possible and when the season has like 10 last match days, Girona can seriously think of what they can achieve in La Liga this season. Top four looks to be unreachable for Girona but a spot that is high enough for them to be eligible as one of representative for La Liga in Europa League or Conference League will be cool for Girona.

They will probably face with a bigger problem in a next summer transfer, when big clubs will try to buy best players in Girona and I am really sure that those players will not refuse chances to join big clubs.

Based on the good results Real Madrid has developed in this season, showed that they are more stronger than Barcelona because Barcelona are still struggling with third position in the la Liga league table which is not giving their fans joy in this season. Girona is really surprising people in this season with good performance to stand in the second position to drag the title with Real Madrid, and if care is not taking, they will take over the first position from Real Madrid in their remaining matches. Only scored 1 goal is not a problem because the most important things is thats Barcelona can winning the match, Atletico Madrid is a difficult opponent because Atletico Madrid keep their defense tight, so Barcelona is able to appear impressive in the match, luckily Xavi used Joao Felix in this crucial match and Joao Felix was able to score a goal for his team which resulted in the victory. Lewandowski cannot be relied on as a whole because Lewandowski is not as sharp as before and Xavi can rely on Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo in the next match.

Girona is indeed in good form this season but in my opinion Girona is not as strongst as Barcelona. I am sure thats after the match against Atletico Madrid this times Barcelona will returned to wins ways, Girona was previously just a mediocre teams and Girona had already suffered a defeated when they host Real Madrid previously so in the next matches Barcelona will have greater chances of wins if can use it well.

Valencia played very well in the first half and led 1-0 over Girona but dropped their performance in the 2nd half and Girona scored two consecutive goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes to win the match. I would say Girona were very lucky in this match, so they managed to get full 3 points. Girona equalized in the 82nd minute with Stuani's goal. And just 6 minutes later Stuani scored another goal to give Girona the win.

You are generally right about the number of shots being equal for the two teams, but that is not the most compelling statistic in this game. Valencia didn't only have 24% ball possession, which by the way is extremely low, but they also had a passing accuracy of below 70% (68% to be exact). They didn't get into the game ever. Of course they are no amateurs and will have their small chances with counter attacks, but I doubt that anyone would try to convince me how well Valencia played when about every third pass of theirs missed the target, which means did not reach a teammate. The presence of another team amidst the competition between Real Madrid and Barcelona will make the competition even more lively and competitive. It would feel boring if the competition was only dominated by two clubs without any competition from other clubs. Indeed, the most important thing is that Real Madrid still has other options to replace Dani Carvajal and it seems that their back line is still quite safe. The depth of Real Madrid's squad can indeed overcome all existing obstacles and even though it is doubtful because they don't have a number 9 player until now, they can still be productive. I still can't wait to see Arda Guler's debut and maybe he's the only one who hasn't played a single match this season because his injuries often recur. So far there have been no problems from any line, but if Real Madrid appeared with their main squad from the start of the season, they might have a point difference from the team behind them.
