Some matches have really surprising results. Girona players really wanted to win and they showed it in the match. They have endless energy and they always want to score goals. Sevilla perform poorly in La Liga and the Champions League, only having 6 winning from 21 match in all competitions, even in the Champions League, Sevilla did not wins at all, even though last season Sevilla appeared to be champions of the European League and playing well in La Liga until they got back competition in the Champions League and currently Sevilla has to accept not playing in the Champions League and Europa League competitions and Sevilla has to fight again to performed well in La Liga this season, but it looks like next season Sevilla will not be able to play in the Champions League and Europa League competitions because it is currently Currently in 16th place, which is almost close to the relegation zone, at least Sevilla must secure its position in the middle of the standing or at least be in the top 10.

In fact they have undergone the league as bad as last season even though the ability in the European League will be strong enough to be seen in the previous season. Now they will suffer more because they do not qualify in the two highest competitions, both in the Champions League and in the European League. Barcelona are struggling, they should make sure they work together as a team more like they did last season. I be supporting Barcelona still but they're notmgood enough. The bridge and gap not so long between them otherwise it'll be difficult to climb the stairs to the top. The gap in points in the standings is increasing and so far Barcelona is 7 points behind Girona or 9 points behind Real Madrid. The competition is very tight and Barcelona must be better able to control the pressure to continue fighting to defend its title this season.

Hmmm I am not sure about that. Girona is sort of a newcomer in that sense because nobody expected them to do as well as they are, but what are indicators in your opinion that they can't maintain that form in the second half of the season? I think it is mostly because it is unexpected and some clubs who were leading the table early in a season have failed to maintain that performance in the past if they were not one of the top clubs. But Girona wasn't lucky or had a few good days. They are just a superior team at the moment and this is the most important reason why I think it is not impossible for them to play for the La Liga title.

Usually, in La Liga, we saw famous teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid racing for the title at the top of the table, and other teams like Atletico Madrid could only follow them in the table while there was a huge gap between these top teams and other teams but this season, Girona surprised us an even without of spending huge amount of money for the famous player or coaches they are on the top of the table and impressive.
However, I think Gironadoes don't have enough potential to save their place.

There are a lot of things going on with these investors buying clubs from the big European leagues. One suspicion is that these clubs want to send players back and forth for wrong transfer fees in order to improve their balance sheet and circumvent Financial Fair Play. Newcastle for example sold Allan Saint-Maximin to Al-Ahli and since both clubs belong to the same owner, the responsible supervisory authority is looking exactly at what is happening in the balance sheets and also with the player prices to avoid balance sheet tricks. The same will now be under scrutiny for the next steps that Girona will take since they belong to the same owner who also owns parts of Manchester City. It is said to be a dangerous trend for football. There are probably some new regulations in the making, but for now Girona is good to go.
