For those people who were saying Girona cannot win the league,and are only ontop of the table because they've not met a big side that can win them,atleast the match they played against Barcelona will prove to them that they are upto something this season,and that they aren't playing at all.Girona have lost only once this season,and that was against Madrid,they drew against just one team,and the team I thought were going to win them again was Barca,but surprisingly,they flogged Barca 4:2,and are again ontop of the Lalliga table,and might remain there till the end of the year. And if that happens,then i'm giving them this season as theirs because they have proven to be the real deal,and are capable of winning the Lalliga.

Girona have this season proven to be improved in what they do. They've been winning games and are currently at the top spot with 41 clear points. The season has been very much favourable for them because unlike past seasons, they've been able to make impacts in the league and also are now out of nowhere the 1st position ahead of Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona, Girona has really impressed everyone with their good performance.

 Yesterday, they had another big win when they held Barcelona down to a 4-2 defeat at Camp Nou. This is a clear evidence that they're a team not to be underrated again. How on earth did Barcelona who's technically a stronger team than them loose at their home ground? What went wrong? We do not have the answers but what we do know is that Girona are now in their full force and they're not relenting in going for the La Liga trophy.

Many clubs were shaken after Girona succeeded in overthrowing the La Liga giant, namely Barcelona, it is believed that their improvement in performance was not just luck. Previously, we never thought that Xavi squad would lose points, even being beaten by a fairly large score. Gradually, Girona was able to become the most promising club, and is now at the top of the standings again by overtaking Real Madrid. Girona is currently receiving a lot of praise, they must manage their self-confidence well so as not to become complacent, which will have fatal consequences in their next match.

Anyone would be afraid to face Girona, because they are like a club that has had great luck this season. yes nobody expect this resilient Girona, they are very strong, is not easy to fight in the top of this tournament against 2 huge teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona, and plus one BIG like atletico madrid, and now they are fully comited, this last victory on Barcelona pitch was magic, and yes they have a bit of luck on that missed goal of Lewandwoski.

I don't think Girona will stay in that position for long before Real Madrid will take it back, but there is still time to know who will win this trophy because Barcelona coach is still planning to introduce some new tactics that will help the team to recover from their losses quickly before the end of the competition. But many people are saying Barcelona will not come close to first position and second position but as it stand now, the opportunity for them to take over the position from Girona has be activated which they will start displaying them in their next game.

Despite Barcelona loss in some games doesn't mean they are not capable to win this trophy because, many people thought that they will not win last season trophy until they begin to show some improvement that gave them the opportunity to achieved the trophy last season.

Well, every one is entitled to their own opinion but for me, Girona winning Barcelona is like a kind of ringing a bell to other club for them to know how strong Girona have become so at the point all eyes will be focused on Girona and some clubs will shiver when they meet Girona like this club has become so competitive that they can win any club without caring if they are bigger teams or not.
