Doubtful? I think Real Madrid is playing a good season with small hiccups, but they only lost one game in La Liga it also won the game against Girona 3-0. There is no safe word for Girona so far even though they have a 2 point gap from Real Madrid. Girona is not the favorite team to win the title this season even though they have great form and lead the standings, but I think Girona has the potential to qualify for the Champions League next season.

IMO I think at the moment Girona are not really looking to focus on becoming champions because in this case apart from the season which is still long considering we are still in the middle of the season, their burden is now heavy with performance so rather than being bothered by thinking about the championship it would be better for them to continue to think about how their performance remains consistent.

It is not going to be an easy task for Girona to get to keep this winning streak for a long time in the La Liga. I have also seen some confinement in them after beating Barcelona in their home, it shows how serious they are an willing to fight it till the end.
